That's incredibly unrealistic. I take the last herb so I somehow magically lose 20+ herbs because of it... come on. It still wouldn't stop the depleting, since I I'd still be doing it no matter what the negative effect is (yes, even if I lost a percentage of my overall stats, which wouldn't make any sense, but I'm sure someone will eventually end up suggesting).

Losing stats doesn't make any sense either. I don't see how picking the last x from a spot makes you less skilled at gathering it.

There is currently already a negative in place as well, and that's the fact that we have to wait longer before we get to pick anymore herbs.

I'm all for negative's, but at least propose negatives that are actually realistic.

Trying to sabotage something should have a risk, agree on that.

But the idea of losing a percentage of that resource from the inventory doesn't fit well in my mind. Lets say i'm in a field full of herbs and gather every last one of them. How would that affect the herbs i gathered ?

A risk that is more realistic would be better, than just affect the simple numbers of the resource (unless there is something i'm missing here which would make the loss of resources a realistic one)

I don't have any idea atm unfortunately ....... At least not one that won't have a need for ppl to intervene . But in the end, shouldn't it be the lands inhabitants to secure their resources in a way ?

P.S. The easiest way would be to punish the depletors in a way that they would think twice before they attempt something like that, but i believe the certain "atmosphere" should be kept as well. (I repeat if i'm missing something that would make this idea more realistic I would like to hear it )

1) Subjective reason. I, as a normal player, don't care if your internal system is so badly defined that you can't work without your boss.
2) Subjective reason. I can't care less who your friends are or what they do especially if they are not my friends.
3) Incorrect. The community doesn't need TKs. It was just one of Mur's crazy ideas. I haven't seen any improvement in quests creation since TKs were formed. Even more, I've seen more stress and arguments since they were formed because TKs can't do their job good (even when fenrir was alive). Players used to do quests and sponsor them from their own pockets. Today it's the same: if a player wants to start a quest he/she must be sure he/she can provide a reward (even if it's just few silver coins) because he/she has no guarantee that TKs will sponsor his/her quest.
So bottom line: stop the bs with "I can't do my job cause I am dead". You were unable to do your job even when you were alive. Why? Cause you're incompetent.

Doesn't have to be fit in with story at all...he said related to hierarchy system, so poss connected with land loyalty, see no reason to connect with story/tutorial.

In connection with my previously stated dislike of the game ~opening~ with a automated fight, I see no reason to use MP2 at all.

the quest only has been running for a few weeks, since its beginning, seig has begun offering gold for someone to defeat the guards for him, raising his offer, till he now, (imo) is using TK stock to get himself revived.
we are not putting him in an awfull position, he is doing it himself,

It is called player's lifecycle. You can't expect someone to be here forevere. Players come and players go. Some make an inpact some go unnoticed.

Besides, don't forget it's summer. Summer is by definition a dead period for games from all points of view and aspects.

If the concept of the heat vote is not only how hard the community agrees with the voting theme, but also the dedication to keep it high, there is actually a point for the heat to be reduced in time.

And also i guess a function for the clickie would be able to be used in items as well, so it could be abused from ppl with scripting item ability as well

(I haven't even given a look to the md script so if there is a way to make a function just to work for clikies and not for items, ignore my second paragraph )

So they prob had already told him that, before you even ask him. Also , calculating could easily means that he just balance the pros and cons of whatever decision he makes, so nothing implies that the threat he got was at the time you asked.

Now , you can always think that he might be misleading you in order to get more coins (i don't want to be offending or anything Grido, don't really know you, but it can always be a possibility). As far as it concerns Gridos action, you can't blame him for anything. He has a service to offer, names the price and either you take it or not. Based on whatever "excuses" he might be telling to justify the price, you can't accuse anyone of anything.

So you want to change the BHC to limitless-participations HC ? Maybe another version of HC should be proposed in the development focus instead of messing with BHC.

Also Fyrd, i think Eons point is to avoid making to low, since then ppl will be able to pay others fee in order to get help, as mentioned in the previous post.
