There is still a Dollar Symbol in the Tips

    This is fixed now.

@Myth, I have no access to the bits you mention, so can't do anything myself there.

  2. An attempt at an objective view on this:

if you break any of the Rules that you accept what form of punishment is chosen.

Unless a specific punishment is stated prior to the onset of an agreement, the nature of the punishment is arguable, and therefore liable to be voided. Punishment should be agreed in advance, both with the signing parties as well as the party carrying out the punishment itself.

If it is the case that someone who rents the solidifier and puts items within it other than permitted is due for a week jail term, have this agreed to by game admins and state such on your thread. To exaggerate the situation, you could otherwise for instance have asked for a year in jail, on the same basis that you have asked for a week.

Firstly, you must realise that you yourself should adhere to your terms and conditions before demanding retribution upon those that do not...

I gave you 6sc, you took the Soldifier back 3 hours after purchase. You broke your own contract there?

With breach of contract, it is the first party who is at fault, unless the second breached without knowledge of the first occurring. If indeed it's seen that you did breach the contract made with Rider, then he would be within his contractual rights to collect the solidifier back from you, nullifying the original contract.

It could be argued that part of Rule 2 regarding forfeit of coin, may be extended to Rule 5 where it says about not using anything else in it, and therefore you breached first. That being said, there is nothing stated in his public rules about him reclaiming the tool from those renting, and so if he did not know (as opposed to having a suspicion) that you had done this, then there is indeed a potential breach with him as well.

..this means you have your own methods of enforcing punishment already and therefore shouldn't rely on a court case?

Not necessarily, just because punishment is a possible end result, doesn't mean it's coming from the one stating about it.

As far as I see, you were given false information about it breaking the solidifier (unless the solidifier itself was the ID used). You have the item returned safe and sound. You've also LiC'd me and said I've lost the 21 hours I was owed and the right to rent it again. Why demand more? Or why make punishments you can't enforce yourself?

The false info part is irrelevant, doesn't matter the reason for a rule in a contract when you're arguing if it's been breached, as that should have been contested prior to agreeing to the contract in the first place.

A begrudged party is entitled to request punishment on the perpetrator, whether proposed punishment is justified and actually gets carried out is another matter however.

    ===================

Aethon, I assume you don't contest that you agreed to the rules?

May I also assume that you did, as claimed by Rider, put items other than permitted into the solidifier? Which would be against the rules as he laid out?

    -

Rider, breaches of contract that do not take away value from an agreement are considered minor breaches and are highly unlikely to succeed as a lawsuit[1] and here you have both the fee as well as the item returned. Generally speaking for a breach of contract you would be looking to claim damages from the other side, this would be to cover expenses and any punitive damages you may want to claim for - in other words, asking for a jail term for this is an unreasonable settlement. If you feel you are due damages(additional coins) as a result of this then that could be looked into, however personally I would steer away from a jail request - though that is but my humble opinion on this matter.

The load more activity isnt something we can change.

At which point it will perpetually annoy me and I feel it's lost the use it had before - but that's not something you can solve.

    http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/staff/
Staff page currently lists every single moderator no matter whether they are one for a single forum area or entire forum, and does not specify anywhere on the page.
As a side, there's an option for me to "Edit my information" as a mod, however no idea where it then lists this information.

I don't like the box-y forum layout at this very moment, but think you're just playing with options currently - please don't keep this particular one.

The "Contact Us" button at the bottom of the forum (every page) - do we know where that ends up?

  4. Strictly speaking may not be a bug, but it's something I've just confirmed for myself, although was pretty sure about previously and doesn't work like I think it should.

The daily loyalty and stat gained for each day you log in.

If you are idle when midnight passes (or, I assume, active) the loyalty gain occurs when midnight passes. When you refresh/resume play you get the calender telling you that you have gained the stats, however in actuality you may have received them some time ago.

Should the stat and loyalty gain not occur when you're notified of it? i.e. when you've resumed play and actually displayed activity within that calender day?

    Are you using condensed view?

I wasn't, but turning it on still has the "Load more activity", it doesn't activate a page view like I'm saying about.

Even on condensed view you still have the same issue, just takes a bit longer to get there.

I used the unread content feature on the old style, and would intend to do so on this new version as well.

I appreciated have page views for unread content so that I could tell how much I had not read and therefore may need to read to catch up. On the new forum style, there is just a "Load more activity" with this I have absolutely no idea the amount of content I need to review. If there is any option I would like the content feed to either display all, or display in a page format / some other format that clearly displays the amount of content remaining.

@Chewett, I don't think you've replied on my point here? Do we have any alternatives than the frankly annoying load more posts option?

I have already saved a new content feed to show only threads and status', therefore Events etc are taken off my feed.

@Syrianthere's the option to save content settings, but you have to specifically choose to do so

  8. So far as my understanding goes, rider wanted the Fusioneers to be a Loreroot guild - however this thread has derailed far enough from a sale so it's being closed.

If anyone wants to open a thread about the future of that guild, or land affiliation for any others, please do so elsewhere.

  9. As Aeo stated, global chat announcements are indeed in green, so the statement is accurate.

I have access to edit that page and most of those like it, so if you believe there to be other discrepancies, please message me so I can look into them.

  10. Amusingly (for me) before clicking on that image I still saw it as a $, wasn't till I clicked to open it that it updated, lol.

Either way, yes, has updated, awesomeness.

If anyone else notes any more instances where it should be ¢, state here, otherwise will close the thread :)

  11. Few types I'm looking to buy, please post here or message me if you're happy to sell - prices negotiable, but would need to be sensible.

    Nutcracker

    Santa

    Bloodpact Archer

    Soulweaver

    Year 6 - 10 Anniversary Aramors

Additionally, if you have any creatures with an ID less than 200k and wish to sell, let me know as I am particularly interested in them.
