I actually got up to 7 adepts (was a special person) and I needed to mass PM them once, so now I understand. But then they all found out I'm not as special as they thought, and they left.

You can do wikis on software. Why not talk about the programming specifics involved. How it was started by one person who lived in his car (not that Manu did, but it sounds impressive). lol
Struggles of game development, the process, what the future brings for other game development based on the implementation of MD. How MD is setting standards for other game writers. It's not just about storyboarding and writing, but getting an entire community involved to bring out the real game. It almost takes on an adventure of it's own. How each player can determine the next alpha version. Saying something in a forum can make you a hero in gaming history.
That's a reason to be wiki worthy.

Not sure but my friend is a moderator of a huge forum and he posted my link for MD on there to get new players to come sign up. He said lots of players came, but I only got 2 adepts from it. It wasn't your 30 new players, but it's nice of him to spread the word about MD.
I'm on India time now, because I'm working with db programmers on a project over there. It's 12 hours ahead of US -7GMT so whatever that is. lol
I will try and get over to the Paper Cabin and help some new players out.

I'm not looking for any game spoilers but there are some rits that every knows about and may be helpful. like a "gator gar" will always beat a "heretic". something like that is what I was wondering, but the mechanics of it all help us.

If I didn't miss this posted somewhere else, I'm now (at the time of this post) a mp4 with 1 mil exp. I still don't understand the rituals. How to set them up or why I would set them a certain way. I just fill up all my players with VP, clikc random and attack. When I try to change it up and set certain creatures it's usually to just get wins so they will grow faster.
There have been a few times that I have set up a specific (or what I thought was good) ritual and attacked, but I see no difference in the final results of a fight.
Do you guys have good rituals, that you can share. Could be ones that worked better as a mp3 then now as a mp4 or mp5. This thread could be a good reference to beginners and mp4 beginners like me. If you could just list some examples about why one ritual would work against another, that would be helpful.

chewett and social butterfly i am not really concerned. i ask for prizes all the time and have never received anything, but i'm not stressed over it. it doesn't change my love for the game.

But, what really stinks is when you answer their riddle 30 mins. after they post it at 3:30 am and then send them another PM with an indepth description of the item to get even more of response and they don't even acknowledge you.
Were they really just waiting for one of their friends to answer so they could give them the prize? Puzzled, but not perplexed

I wonder what it's like to have more than 1 adept? Must be something only the special people know about.

I have IE7 and it started after Manu fixed it from bottom focus, or after I asked him to anyway. I also can't scroll up on regular chat and read any text that has been there (unless you can't scroll). Yea, make a private forum. How hard is that? With a big fancy title (administrator) like yours Chewett, you should be able to make an alliance members only section and then break that off into individual alliance groups. But, actually if spies get the passwords they will just let everyone read it. Not a good idea now that I wasted all that time typing it all out and you spent your time reading it.
Can you add "Envy of Endurance" to my Playername section along with "envy". Ty sir

It was pushing the scroll bar to the bottom (which was annoying), now it pushes the scroll bar to the center of the chat box and makes it even more annoying to read things higher or lower than the scroll bar.

ie Duration = Seconds(time)/Cycle | Frequency = Cycles/Second(time), thats basic physics look it up if you want.

I'm writing my part (elemental) for the Book of Principals and this section seems incomplete. Manu could you update some knowledge on this principal? It says your basics and a bit more, but seems to leave the reader hanging and wanting more. Something that we can absorb.
I understand you don't want classifications (or you didn't last year) but what is the real message about the Elemental Principal for us? You say it can be so many things, but at the same time you don't want it to be those things (such as the asian reference).
As simple as it should be, it seems to not be focused. I guess I shall search elsewhere even though this topic clearly says Elemental on the title.

At last I heard we are seperated into groups and studying the aspects of 10 principals. Trying to find a way to unlock the book.

I would like to know how many countries this game represents at the current time. I noticed just in our alliance alone there were 10 members from 8 countries. I thought that was interesting.

Can you use GoDaddy.com (they are huge in the US). I just got a dedicated (for work) and it was $350 US a month.
I agree with the flow of new players. I joined a few weeks ago and I thought the site and lag was crap and I was looking to quit playing but the game is so much fun that I stayed on and I love it. Other new players may not READ the UPDATES to even know this is still in the ALPHA stages. I didn't know until a nice older player helped me with my questions.

Um, what are you talking about? I never said you were a liar or that I was there that night. I wasn't there that night.
I said my friend posted MD on his forum - I sent a thank you to him for that. I also said that those 30 new players were not from him, but again I was sending a thank you for him trying to help out MD.
Then I said I'm online now at those times because I'm a programmer.
Then I said I will try and go help out new players at night since I'm online now at those times.
I have no idea where the confusion happened that you think I was calling you a liar or anything else.
