Guess I miscounted the rows, that explains the midpoint...still, wouldn't it be more precise to say the point has shifted instead of claiming it is a point that can't exist? I mean there is a reason why a coordinate should exist which is 0x0, even if in reality the middle is supposed to be 0x-0.5 I think it should be kind of similiar to the GoE.

Why do you base it on -0.5 in the coordinates? If you go strictly by geographical distance, it would be 0x0. A point which doesn't exist isn't something new, but why are the coordinates broken that specific way?

I reached 20 cartography first and was the first to know where all are, but in fact I currently hold 26 cartography with 19 obelisks. (MD Shop has boosters which can increase stats) That's also why I told dst where the last one was because I was doing this for fun and had my goal after reaching 20 cartography anyways, especially since the announcement only requires you to have 20 cartography in order to receive the reward. (Good old MD style of questing if anyone remembers....)

The double tag vanished, but I suddenly have an ending to the tag descriptions that wasn't there before. In the Interface it shows as "rn", in the actual descrip it shows up as "\r\n". Is there a specific order to who got a type 1 or type 2 tag?

All of these concepts tend towards the "material" parts of MD....does this mean immaterial parts are not going to be documented that much? I've been planning to write a document about heat...though I think I could write fragments about other features as well. This would however clash with heat veins a little bit, and since I'm probably going to vanish at one point that would mean I can't take part in the future of this project.

It wasn't really that much, so I can understand that not going to be transitioned in. I just find it a pity that the flag system isn't being used as properly as it could be at the moment.

I'm actually around, just cannot be bothered to do anything visible in MD. Though by most definitions I am most definitely inactive. In what way do "niche" groups like the flag groups play into this? It would fit into the title hierarchy and could be used to promote the social groups. I don't see a must to do so, but reintegrating them into the new systems might be worth a thought. (Since I'm in China right now the internet is a bit weird, aka I won't always be having access to MD etc. Thus sorry if my replies to the discussions are slow.)

Add tag: Misc? - anything that fits nowhere else Quest- as Rophs said, though I can't think of many things for this. Maybe not necessary Mur- he did put a lot of announcements about things not mentioned in those categorie, clarifications etc

No, I only said I did not see the point in standard recruiting right now. Doing nothing will not make me receive points, as you seem to insinuate.

I agree it would help the land and would be valid as a point mechanism, but I doubt Mur will do anything "soon", nor is it good to do anything expecting him to do something in a case like this. Very bad for the odds of it actually happening usually.

The only recruiting I could do in any semi-official capacity right now would be Sotis, and I did not see any candidate for that at all so far. Even then I would want to consider for quite some time before doing so, pending approval not just from myself. Any other alliance's members are decided by their ally leaders. As for a non alliance sort of recruiting, I cannot offer the official citizenship, nor have I been asked for support in regards to that. This means I do not really have a way to recruit aside from promising help or future citizenship. I do not like the idea of promising help if I cannot provide that help, because I intend to keep my promises- thus my best advice would be that they should earn it themselves, and that hardly means that I contribute to the process. So why should I recruit now?

There's no activity of mine because there is nothing for me to do in MD. I've been around a little bit more recently, but I agree that inactivity could be a problem. (To be fair, right now I am focusing on my master studies which means I will be barely available during exam periods. I do assume that in a nonexam period I will be around much more for the next year, but i have no idea how it will be like once I enter the worklife.) My next steps will involve research, but I am not sure how I should execute it, or whether I should at all. I would however aim to make some things public, or at least more open to public discussion. Apart from that I have no plans yet- I mostly replied here because I thouhgt Eon's claim was way immature. Edit: Perhaps this should be split off however? This has become more of a discussion than a Historic Document.

Yet your own haste, or shall I call it brashness should make you reflect if you are suited for it? To be a ruler means to be of no equal, at least in some regards. In the scale of judgement, both of us are still equal. . The East is an increase in complexity from the mainlands, for me. It is a land of exploration, of discovery and the land I am interested in. If I take on the power and obligations of a ruler, I would be there, silent until needed or asked for help. In essence, there for you if you ask for it, but also absent if you wish for that. I aim to understand things on a fundamental level, am guided by my code of honor in my actions and utilize knowledge and wisdom to choose. I believe if something is truly needed or wanted, there exists a way to that, no matter how impossible it seems. The future of the East is the future of its people to me. For without people, there is no land. Thus I would primarily aid those who are citizens of the East, and occasionally recruit some people. If you have more detailed questions, I will be able to provide a better answer.

If you have no patience for the long term, perhaps it would be better if you stepped down as a candidate. Though I do wonder who will judge and award points with Mur being Mur.
