Yes Z, it's also a wind drach that I was referring to (sorry for confusing some people by calling the wind as "drach" instead of dragon. Since it is mutated from a drach I usually prefer to call it that way). As for the money, it might go back to MD depending on what comes out on christmas, but I can't say that it is a certainty. I do have a bid of I'll-go-up-to $90 right now but I'm still working it out with the person so I haven't put it into first post yet.
-
*bump* Sorry asterdai, I missed your edit for what the bid is for. As for the price, I'm actually referencing dst's sale price at the end of her auction ($95) for an untokened drach, so I'm expecting this one to sell at least for near that amount.
-
Anyways, regardless of the outcome of the discussion, we do know that one of the forum admins and one global mod has expressed concerns on said signature, so I would suggest removing it at least until a decision is made.

The words seem a little bit too poetic for me so I ran some quick google checks. Those text seems like a part of a song by Milan Mladenovic. Some quick links from google searching: http://www.lyricsmania.com/crv_lyrics_milan_mladenovic.html http://www.kovach.rs/Angels_Breath_-_Crv_lyric.html Now I personally do not really know about the forum sig rules regarding other languanges, but since it seems that there is, I guess they do go against the rules. But it really is just a piece of song, which you can't easily translate to other languages without losing some of its meaning, so maybe, imo, a ban is a bit too harsh for posting music lyrics as sigs?

For the sake of being fair on both sides, TS are not "free", you need access to berserker's charge (which costs WPs), and it does have age. Several TS that was sold recently (150-200 age IIRC) was sold for 8-10 sc, again if my memory is correct. I'm not one who will pay 4 sc for a TS of 40-60 though...

Okay, can we please stop the war stuff right here? The whole discussion ending up heading to a topic about war is the last thing I want, I was just trying to point out @firs: thanks for explaining the term. To non-native speakers like, me it really sounded like let's go to war. @yrth: I believe a player as himself and as a king should be distinguishable, though I do understand it is hard to do. Actually I was reassured that it can be done because you have tried to distinguish what you say as a player and as a king (with the use of the king seal on your post or not). I may be wrong, but I do feel that Kings were made so the Lands has a representation when making decisions, but not all actions of the player is necessarily a reflection of the Land (that is, when the person is acting as himself, not the king). But anyways, yrth has stated that he isn't saying that there will be war, so I guess I've received my answer. Can we move on to other discussions please?
If I was in Yrth's position I'd most likely be on the warpath about this. It really is incredible. To those that seem to think its fine I simply have this to say. If it was your land that was being treated in this manner, if some supposedly private place in Necrovion, Loreroot or Marind's Bell was being used by people from outside, would you think it was fine?
I would guess not, but I, for one, will not go on war with a country because of the actions of one person who happens to be its leader. I'd refrain from mixing personal issues with a king over country issues. Unless, of course, the action was done specifically as the King of the Land, representing the Land's intent. If it is an MB training ground made by the King of MB on Golemus soil, it's begging for war. Otherwise, I'd finish the issues on the appropriate scale, unless we really miss repeating convos like the ol dear GG-LR one we had.

I can't, you should PM a mod.
-
Just a heads up, you're listing WTB (want to buy) angiens, but it seems like you're selling yours. Might want to change the title (or ask a mod's help to change it) to avoid confusion.

Now that dst's auction is over, time for me to start a new one Contents are pretty much the same: selling a GG drach or a windy (I'll just mutate the GG drach) for paypal credits. Said drach is currently 319 days old, though from dst's thread I suspect that mutating it will mean the age drops to 0. Drach is tokened with the following: [claw1] [claw2] [blooddrop2] [blooddrop1] [stardust] [emeraldglare] [enlightning] [kellethafire] [antifreeze] [onyxfangs] [darkshield] [darksky] [claw3] [goldbelt] [jewelshards] [osirisbelt] [sunshine] Will sell only if the price is right. Bids are welcome via posts or PM. Will close this in 10 days.

I'll say that in my opinion, 4H chat ban is not excessive, if not even not enough at all. First of all, chances that you run to the king that is feuding with you everyday is slim, which means you'd only get silenced every once in a while. Do remember that you need to be on the same place to cast the silence. And if the king would persistently chase you to silence you while talking about breakfast, s/he's actually doing you a favor anyways by showing people how petty s/he is, and that's a step up to your cause. Not to mention you're making him/her use up their item's charges with every use. And you can always switch to an alt if you really need to talk.. And as Shadow has mentioned, when you're rebelling with other people sharing the same cause, it's unlikely that the king will be able to silence you all the time; he also has others to worry about.

Check what needs? If you're talking about upgrades, then we can't possibly put all of them in one page, going to each creature's page is unavoidable. If you just want to check if they can be upgraded yet or not, we already have the big + sign on the creature pic when they are ready.
ok, ok, let me put it like this: same formula must work for MP3 with 0-100 stats and for an MP5 with 1-10k stats. For the moment, for the one with 10k , the max stats are given by player (the creatures have little to no influence). If you change it, the 10k will be split unevenly and will get to even bigger unbalance in the ritual. And one more question : when do you apply the "stat balancing" before or after the tokens ? Do consider that the dracs tokened and boosted can be up to ... many many many times more then a single heretic in same ritual and not boosted. So, unless you want to make the dracs (ok, ok, I know it is a spoiler ) even stronger in same ritual ... then do the changes. Why don't you do some xls files and add there some formulas and see the impact. If it is promising ... add some comments and share it with us.
Yeah, I will certainly try drafting some spreadsheets. As for tokens, I think the easiest way would be before tokens, so the token effect would not be boosted. It would be different depending if Kafuuka's version or Rendril's version is used though. *goes back contemplating*
i will just say this. i think this is a bad idea, unless you could make it so it only effects players at a higher mp which would be a lot of coding for something i just don't see even being used. like people pointed out if you base it off of player sats it won't matter the guy with higher stats using it would still win so *shrug*.
The guy with more stats will be at an advantage, that is something natural. If it is not the case, we should just remove stats altogether; people won't bother raising their stats anyways. And with TS, this problem is remedied quite a lot already.. With this system, strong people actually have to think of counter rits instead of just mindlessly setting boosted draches/archers. You can still use it, but you risk running into people who focus their power with single targeting creatures, who is set to target your drach first.
This is exactly why. Strong creatures will become even stronger. If you know the stats of all creatures (hint: dracs [winds]) you would not suggest this specific change. @Rendril: Do consider that using just a few creature types is a privilege hard earned.
Strong creature will become stronger, yes, but proportionately with their stats. Weaker ones will also get stronger, in accordance to the proportion of their stat. I do not say that I want to directly use current values; the difference between status on each creature is quite too far right now, but I'm trying to evaluate the concept itself. If the stats can be "balanced", would the idea work?
I admit I forgot about active days requirements, but I checked your claim on an alt and I saw a notice 'This is a list of possible items you could access if you had some wish points. The exact list available for your account will be displayed once you have at least one available wishpoint.' I also browsed through the announcement log and compared the list showed to what should be available and there is at least one option there which should not be there, nl 'balance profile' at 120 days. Hence there is no reason to assume that options which should be there actually are there either. After a brief look, I've found only one wish requiring more than 130 days. At that point you'd have two WP plus the one assumed from BPG = 3. Silvertongue, which should be available by the current requirement and gift count, has been proposed to have a requirement of 8 spent WP... That would also imply you'd have to have 1200 AD and have solved the BPG to be able to get it by means of relatively easy to get WPs. To me it is clear that we don't want to be overenthusiastic with imposing higher requirements - if at all. - It is far from trivial to both meet your goal of pleasing old and moderately old players and to keep from harming people who got other WPs at whatever age, by doing quests.
I haven't really thought about the exact numbers for deepening the wishes, though on a glance I'd agree that 8 WP seems a bit too much. But I do believe that in principle, deepening some stuff needs to be done, though the numbers need to be carefully adjusted so it's not an overkill.
Someone used their wishpoint to create an item for him.
Ah, thanks for the info.
Prices are based on how much a person is willing to pay for a High quality avatar. I had to pay to search and find them. i also paid 7 gold or so and a freind paid a wishpoint for one of my items. RP creating things are expensive
O_o? How exactly do someone "pay a wishpoint" for your item?

No one, the part where creature stats becomes obsolete is what we're trying to change, in hope that more creatures will be more viable for use even at "end-game". Don't take me wrong, I used to like and accept the fact that the stronger a player gets, the less relevant a creature's stats is, which in turn has made lower-powered creatures but with better targeting abilities stronger. However, I do long for a change, where different creatures are made more viable instead of just the all-targeting ones. I'm not trying to make aramors as strong as drachorns, but to at least make them a viable choice for certain strategies. Basically, making single-targeters, multi-targeters and all-targeters have a somehow progressively weaker damage, so single-targeting creatures would actually be able to kill a single enemy faster than an all-target, although in total damage the all-targeting would probably do more. Right now, at least what I see, is that most offensive rits are just using a creature with an all targeting skill (or multi, in cases when all is not available) to hit all enemies at once, almost no more do we see focusing on weak/strong creatures, because with the player stats, our all-target creature would virtually do the same damage as our single-damage creatures; there is no incentive. If we can make that even with player stats, the lesser targeting creatures can do more damage to a single target than an all-targeting would, there would be more incentive and viability to use more diversified strategies. And even beyond offense, this would mean some creatures could be made to have better defensive capabilities than others, or more initiative, so it would open up a lot of strategic mix possibilities. PS: sorry for the wall of text and probably not-so-easy to read wordings
No, there's only a very limited amount of wishes left, that are really not alike, out of the whole shop. All the other types are considered 'dangerous' (and hence more cool). Currently upon receiving your first WP you have two dozen choices or more. How exactly it is cool for new people who legitimately solve the BP puzzle to be see their options diminished this much is beyond me.
Kafuuka, 2 dozen choices or more is NOT what new players get, it is what old player gets. Do remember that wishes gets more available based on active days as well.
Wishes become available based on active days, number of spent wishpoints, number of available wishpoints and other personal progress factors.
New people who legitimately solve the BP puzzle won't even see most of that wishes that were suggested to be moved deeper. I'm currently opening a 47 days alt with no WP, and I do not see: -any of the mutation spells -any of the secret access -any of the editing abilities -the silvertongue spell and the summon dead army spell I do not see 2 dozen choices or more; I see only 11 right now, less than a dozen. Most abilities has been locked via active days anyways, so there will be no case of a new player who completed the BP puzzle seeing their options diminished. And by the time they actually get through the active days requirement to see some more options on the shop, they would have gotten another WP from their active days anyways, which they can spend on something - thus opening the deeper spells.. So those who have earned their WP via other means is nowhere near being punished.

Update: 11 branches and 1 Lumber from Esmaralda for an amber necklace

And what constitutes "cool"? Aside from the 2 mutation spells I mentioned, bestiary, 4 place access (SK, OT, BC, LR - using initials to prevent spoilers, just in case) and editing abilities, there are.. -11 spells(not counting the ones I can't see yet - there might be more) -xp resets -profile balancing -VE/VP increase -K doc Are these not "cool" enough for new players and veterans alike? Cause if they don't, I don't see any use for them to be in the shop, since it's of no interest to anyone. The WP giving is already rewarding everyone; I'm just not favoring the idea of serving the deeper 'magics' of Magic Duel on a platter. Do that, and the magic is lost.
