1. Very much agree. Actually, I got an idea of a whole new part of item system absed on consumables craftable by anyone from raw materials that are much more abundant in quantity. I think it would be great to see items have more effects that can be felt directly, not just as RP props.
2. + rep-ped A bit off topic, but I really wonder why there's 3 people negative repping the first post? It's not like trying to buy something is a crime..
3. Ah.. that answers some things..
4.
There are three main uses for items in the realm: Role Play Item Crafting Scripted Functions I'll deal with the scripted functions first, since it is easiest. Muratus del Mur, the creator of this realm, recently added functionality to large number of items, making them usable. Some are consumable, some are regenerative. At first, these items were all pre-scripted by Muratus. Shortly after that, he added the ability to re-script a lot of old items, so that we could design their function. However, to be able to do that the item has to be scriptable, and you need to have gained the Item Scripting ability from the Wish Shop, and it is VERY deep. The reason that this function will not apply to your item is that (as far as I know) none of the items Muratus released over the festival are capable of being scripted yet. Now, for item crafting, you require four things. First, you need to get a Wish Point. These are very rare, and the catalyst for the most powerfull magics in the realm. After that, you require a mark of creation. These are given by the crafters guild for certain quests, and are also hard to earn. Third, you need the components of the new item. These other items will be consumed in order to create the new item. And last, you need to know what you want to create. Now, since your item is a parchment, there are very few things that you could logically craft with it. The most obvious item would be the Book of Dreams, but that would require ALL the pieces, which you do not have. Role Play is entirely up to you, its about actually interacting with and using the item. How you go about that is up to you, but always remember your role is going to be one of the most important things in this realm. Other than those three things, you can also use them for trading and quest rewards, but those are about getting rid of items, not keeping them to benefit yourself. I hope this helps you decide what to do, ~Kyphis, Leader of the Legend Speakers
Just a note, we're not requiring any Mark of Creation at the moment. It seems like making items is hard already as is, so it's currently no asked for anymore.
5. Udgard replied to Burns's topic in Resolved Bugs
*puts hand on burns's head* Yep, he has fever.
6. Meh, faster if I just post here rite? Got one I've been dying to get rid off. Will send CTC once you confirm it's a deal.
7. Updated: - Phantom Orchid is now a member of the crafters. - Ivorak and Guybrush has been taken out of the members list due to inactivity. They are welcome to return anytime if they start playing again.
8. Udgard replied to Grido's topic in Central Market
A bit offtopic, but I somehow doubt you were scammed, unless you were selling it for less than one gold... A while ago, closer to christmas, the price dropped to around 2 gold, IIRC.
9. Ah... now I understand what you meant.. Sorry, but how you put it was rather ambiguous (well, I think most of us took it that when new crop of avys get released, we include a batch of recycled avys as well). Hmm.. I don't have any comment for that idea rite now though..
10. Avy recycling? When was it Grido? o_o
11. Although I feel it's a shame that avys are lost when people leave, I'd have to vote no to any recycling of avys. The use of unique avatars is one of the important elements that allows MD to create legends. I'd really hate to see similar avys worn by different people. It just.. doesn't feel rite to me.
12. 3 gold 7 and a half silver
13. So, I do know that the announcement says 250 days, 8 points. What does the 8 points mean though? 8 WP owned, or 8 WP spent? I am way over 250 days, and I have 8 WP with 4 spent, but I don't see the wish on my list. Does it need 8 spent WP? O_o
14. 1 SC for the lorerootian archer
15. Oh well, I'll add a bit of comment here. Aside from the previously existing musical instruments (I couldn't remember all that what was available before.. I could only remember the music box), I know that I made at least 3 musical instruments; a lute, a guitar and a flute. Each costed a piece of wood (one of them costed an extra gemstone), and of course, 1 WP each. So yeah, 2 musical instruments and 4 gemstones is worth a lot more than 90 silvers. Not saying that it's impossible to get them (if you see cutler's auction, a drach can fetch more than 90 silvers depending on demand), but gathering that much item in 7 days is not going to be easy, and that's if anyone is actually willing to do it.
16.
You'll notice lots of female avatars...where was I when those were released? agrhhh...
Dst, you won't be able to part with the clown anyways, so live with it!
17. Man, I miss shadowice and ugauga's avy! They're awesome! Phrog's eyeball was splendid as well..
18. Er.. may I know if I get overbid on last minute? =| I can raise my last bid a bit if it's necessary..
19. .....arghh. Fell for it =|
20. So...
Last minute update Players with over 100 active days and more than 1 drachorn will lose from now one 1 active day for each fight against a ritual with at least one aramor. Beware, you could get negative active days this way and that would mean your account will get unregistered and you will have to start allover again.
Some questions and topic for discussion: 1. More than 1 drach. Does this refer to GG drachs only, or all kinds of drachs? (rusty, rein, wind) 2. Aramors. Does this refer to normal aramors only, or also imperials? 3. Does this refer to any fight (with/without drachs in it) against aramor rituals, or only (any number of)drachs vs aramor battles, or more than 1 drachs vs aramor battles? 4. Is getting unregistered even possible? You must be at least 100 active days to get the penalty, but the negative would only give -1. That means unless 100 people attacked you at the same time with aramors, you'd just end up hanging around the 99-100 AD measure. Thoughts?
21. Hmm.. I wonder if anyone got greedy and took more than one.. (in case anyone's wondering, I didn't take any. ex-RPCs got enough as part of the 'layoff')
22. hmm.. I think I missed an announcement somewhere... Edit: I think I've checked all the announcement... May I know which golem is in the CCG? I assume there's another golem I haven't heard of?
23. Um... is the Golem even operational right now? I'll be surprised if it did
24. I'm under the impression that it was built to protect necrovion from outside influence (not attack)..
