1.
i guess not... Only Mur has access to the graveyard, he made that so his souls stay rare ;-) but maybe you'll get a chance, others already got access to inaccessible places (like MRD got the Bridge of Ages [and a few others by now]), ss if you stick with the idea and search at the right place, you might get a shot at it ^^
Thanks for the information! We will see what happens. It seems to me that the cube is very important, so I want to find it, or at least ensures that it is not lost. Maybe someone passing through the graveyard unknowingly kicked it out of the graveyard and I will find it in a more common place. We shall see what my search reveals. Does anyone know if there is an interior to the House of Tainted Times?
 2. As I am searching for the cube, I decided to read through this topic. A lot of interesting thinking and ideas. It is great to speculate on how to unlock or open the cube, but I am wondering if it might also be helpful to examine it first. Going along with this thought, has anyone here personally seen the white cube mentioned in the AL, or was witness to the events when the cube appeared? *edit*: Also any further information on the "traveler" might also be helpful in revealing the nature of the cube.
 3.
I've been trying to find away to get into the gaveyard but it not going well
Hmm, well, I'm going to continue search the available areas of Necrovion. If I can not find anything, I will ask the higher powers of Necrovion for their help. Perhaps they will be able to either search the graveyard for me, or grant me access.
 4.
this is right place for it that other storyline is about actual storyline (with marind) not al this is for al topic as for cube, according to al, they meet at graveyard in necro
Hmm, I don't know how to get to the graveyard. This might be an issue. Still a good tip, and perhaps someone else will be able to help me out with that. Anyways, I'll be in necrovion searching
 5. I know it has already been over a week now, but I want to search for the cube that was "lost" among the stones of the waste land in Necrovion. If you have any clues or ideas what might help me, like possible location, what to look for, etc etc. Please contact me. Perhaps it is a futile search, but that makes no difference to me. Thank you for any help you can offer. -Willem P.S. I apologize if this is the wrong forum, but since it is story-line related, I thought this would be a good place.
 6.
i would like that. would most definately add some people there. anyone else think this is a good idea?
I would love to see that! As a fairly new player, I hear some names of the "Great ones" tossed around occasionally, but really don't know who they are. It would be very cool to get a better understanding of the legends of MD.
 7. I consider myself a roleplayer, but I also immensely enjoy fighting. My character is something of a guardian/protector, so I think it is important to be strong. While I could simply act tough and go around doing heroic things all of the time, I feel it is important to be strong within the fighting-system of the game. This didn't actually take much effort and I don't have amazing creatures (I am a fairly new player), but I feel that it blends very well with my character. It has also gone a very long way to increasing my principles, which if nothing else I can also use in RP-ing. Anyways, I suppose my question is: within the actual Magicduel universe (you know, the little girl in the cube, Shades, loreroot, etc) how does your role actually integrate? I can see what you do on the technical level and with the mechanics of the game, but I don't see how that actually integrates with the universe of Magicduel itself.
 8.
. . . but I consider the following offer an abuse of power: "Trade you my Spell Doc (rare) for your iron nails'. . .
I didn't attend the auction yesterday, so I didn't witness this firsthand, but I am appalled that someone would trade their spell document for an item.
 9.
I don't think that there is a lot of people drawing things for MD right now. Only a couple people I think. So it might be a while before new avatars come out.
That's unfortunate... I can now select an avatar from the shop and would really like to do so, but for a while there were only a few, and none that matched my character, and now there are simply none. I was really looking forward to getting an avatar.
 10. I must say the mystery, history, and lore of MD is very interesting and compelling to me. Sadly, I still feel very very overwhelmed by the extent of all of it. I read and involve myself in it as much as I can, but I think it will be a while before I start to tackle the big questions. Hopefully one day I'll be there.
 11. A fantastic read... long and winding, but I think that's just how I like it. I still consider myself very new to MD, and reading this both broadened my understanding and deepened my respect for the developer and the game. I look forward to any change that comes from a person like Mur. Well done.
 12. Sorry for missing the initial meeting (if it happened). Listing the server time and a location for the meeting would be most helpful to me *smiles*. I also lend my support to continuing this quest.
 13. Willem RedBeard: Nothing too particular or special here. Willem is my real middle name and I'm a red head with a beard. Go figure! *smiles, then laughs*
 14.
there are mistakes in the AL... he hasn't neccessarily hit the backside of the house, let alone go straight through it, he could also have gone through the wall next to the backside of the house, or may have hit the house and broke his nose on the wall and then dropped to the ground like a stone... whatever... but he isn't neccessarily in the house, and i have personally seen him in front of the house after he supposedly crashed into the house...
If you can find a few trustworthy characters (people that I know and trust) to come and tell me that Renevoid is not in the house and is safely elsewhere, then I will beleive you. I don't know too many people, but those I would trust are: stormrunner, SageWoman, jazira, Dark Mystic, Falen Angel, Cremated Credence, and perhaps a few others, but I am bad with names *grins*. Until then, I will continue to watch the house and plan on ways to find out where Renevoid is, and options to get him out of the house, in case he is in there. Well, I have just been visited by Khalazdad at the house of Liquid Dust. He told me much and answered my questions concerning Renevoid. What I now know is that Renevoid is in a place that no one can follow him, and specifically he is not in the house of Liquid Dust or necrovion. Thus, I will continue to keep an eye on the houes of Liquid Dust, but my dedicated watching of it will end for now. Though I would appreciate people spreading the word that Renevoid is not in the house of Liquid Dust, so that they do not make any fool hardy attempts to enter.
 15.
well, my guess is this, his spaceship crashed at fields of fear, explosion throw him back out of necro, before he landed he scratched a bit house of ld, and then he noticed hole in wall near house and then he went in, where would he go from there? well ofc to the place where ship crashed, fields of fear, why marvolo thinks ren isnt in necro? becoz he, as many others cant access fields of fear, if ya want to find ren, get access to fields of fear = mission impossible have a nice day
Hmm, possible, though the Adventure log clearly stats that he was thrown from the ship and crashed THROUGH the back of the house of Liquid Dust. All of the other text concerning what Renevoid does next is rather vague, and perhaps he was already trapped in the house when he sees the supposed hole in the wall. Still, I will see about getting access to Necrovion, or at least the fields of fear. *smiles*
 16.
One question: Does Renavoid want to be saved?
If he is trapped in the house of liquid dust, then based on what little I know of liquid dust, I think so. The stuff sounds rather horrid and all encounters that I know of with liquid dust have not turned out well. If he is rescued from the house, is found alive, but did not want to be saved, then he can return to the house (assuming we allow him to). If he is rescued from the house, is found alive, and wanted to be saved, then we have clearly done the right thing. If his dead body is retrieved from the house, then at least we will know his fate. It seems obvious to me, that he should be rescued, or at the very least, we should work harder to discover where he is and if he is alive.
 17. Assuming Renevoid is still trapped in the house (I have talked to Marvolo and he says that Renevoid is not in Necrovion as far as he knows), I think we need to step up our efforts to help Renevoid. It shouldn't matter whether you like him or not, he needs to be saved. Also, if he is dead, we should confirm this somehow. I am still patrolling/guarding the House of Liquid Dust and Cremated Credence has been helping. Perhaps, someone will volunteer to look into this spell wind ward, or maybe there is already someone out there that has it. If you have ANY ideas, please see me at the House of Liquid Dust, or reply here. Though I don't check in here too often. Summary, let's get on this and do something useful: find out what has happened to Renevoid.
 18.
I just tried to tell u what to do and it seems u just want to say out loud what spells are and how to use them. U must learn urself from others and this is what i am doing with my quests. I am spreading what i learned when i wrote the Book on the papers and yes, i am looking for one actually asked someone to be my apprentice but then i just realized that u can't be if u don't have the 'hand' or the gift. That's why i started with my quests and they are and will be very different from what u are used to. I think u also must start to read the adventure log, this way you will understand more about the RPC and choose what you would like to learn.
Thank you again for the help. Sorry if I misunderstood your previous post. I fully intended and intend to check out your quests, but I am still locked in story mode, so until that finishes all I have is the forum. And thank you to everyone that has posted so far. I have a better idea of where I am heading now with this idea. I have only been in the world of magicduel for 18 days, so I still have so much to learn. It is very exciting, but it is also a very large and complex world to just "step into". I've been reading everything I can and learning as much as I can, but there is only so much time in the day that I can put into this.
 19. I will definitely go about this "in game", but since I am currently stuck in story mode I can not do so at the moment. I was also under the understanding that the forums were an extension of the game, so I figured this would be the logical place to at least ask. Anyways, I would like to thank everyone that has posted so far, you have given me a lot of information to process and consider.
 20.
This topic should be in No mans land, not here. And if you are really interested start completing my quests and you will find more about magic and how things are working around. Soon i will upload some content on the topic reserved for magic and principles research.
Thank you for moving the topic, I could not figure out a good place to put it. Quests are interesting and enjoyable to carry out, but that is not what I am looking for. True, the reward for doing quests can sometimes be magic spells, but I am looking specifically for a teacher/master, not just magic. Trying to roleplay my character as best I can, I feel that randomly getting spells for completing quests, while fun, isn't how I want to go about gaining skills. Like Burns said, I am looking to become something like an Apprentice. Maybe this is new to magicduel, I don't know, since I am new here. I have a sharp mind, the will to learn, and the desire for magic. If there is no one out there willing to be my teacher, then I will endevour on my own to learn magic... hopefully with no dire consequences.
 21.
The real spells will come if you prove yourself to have a good role in the game, or if you become an LHO. As a note, do not ask for spells, if you ask, you wont get, prove yourself worthy and you will recieve. The three ways to gain spells are to become an RPC/PWR (so create a role for yourself), be an LHO, or get to MP6. As for roleplaying magic, i find it easy enough to do, but i don't have the time to spare to be your mentor i'm afraid.
That is all good to hear, I have no intention of asking for spells. Though currently having no spells of my own and having no magic ability, I still feel it would make the most sense to have a teacher/mentor to guide me. Alternatively, I could attempt to train myself in the magic arts, but this seems like a recipe for disaster or failure. Surely within the land of magicduel there is a wizard looking to pass on his knowledge.
 22.
Stupid question... what kind of Magical Arts? Spell scrolls that RPC's use? Or Role Play Magical Arts..? Sorry, I can be dumb sometimes lol
Both I would have to say. I'm fairly new to roleplaying, so it would be good to get a few tips on that, especially considering that I consider my character to not have any magic at the moment and he would need a mentor to train him. I would also like this roleplaying to lead to having "real" magic (ie, actually casting spells) in the world of magicduel.
 23. As I have wandered the land of Magicduel, I have seen a number of different spells cast by various other people. Being the type of person I am, I want to begin to learn about magic myself. I started by looking through the Archives and found some articles of interest, but nothing of practical use. So I am sending out a message to any mages/wizards/sorcerors out there, and am looking for someone to train me in the magical arts. I don't expect to be cast fireballs on my first day, but I am ready to begin my training. I will do whatever it takes, but I also expect dedication from whoever would be my professor in the magical arts.
 24. BTW, what is the best place to follow what is happening in magicduel during times like these when I can't actually be in the game myself? The adventure log is decent, but not very detailed... hopefully I get back to free roam soon
 25. I was wondering what those letters were, I thought maybe they were initials for the artist or something
