  6. Quest has started! Good luck. Remembeer there are plenty of pitfalls. Be careful :D
  7. 1) No ones encouraging. As I mentioned, its a PRICE you have to pay. 2) You have a player who has been a part of the land for two whole years, that isnt enough for you to call them a citizen? 2 years is a lot of time in MD. And a wishpoint is like you are wishing for access and proof that you have involved yourself in MD atleast some part of time. With the wish being in 10+ cat of WP sop, it definitely means you have involved yourself in the game too. Its not easy to get 10+ WPs. Not in this current Era at least. 3) a) Lets assume That I have a tiff with my land leader who doesnt like me getting access to a hidden location. Does it mean I am not loyal enough to my land? Chewy or Mur bypassing a land leader in such a situation would sound like meddling in internal affairs. Would definitely hurt the ego of a land leader. IF something like this is in the WP shop, the thought process would generally favour towards acceptance. b) see a) c) see a) and others. d) Whats the difference wit it being in a WP shop and People asking separately if Loyalty is in the rewarding criteria anyway? 4) If the time you have spent in game couts for citizeship voting, or collecting land items, surely loyalty must be important? Doesnt it make sense? You spend a terrible amount of time in a place, you should know your way around in that place. The way I see it, The three ways you mentioned of gaining land loyalty is good enough? 1) shows you have a rapport with the people/leader, same goes for two. 3) shows that you have painstakingly logged on to MD every single day for 2 years. And 10+ wps shows that you have involved yourself in the game pretty deeply. (i hate repeating my POV again and again :P) Yes you do pay a lot of time for multiple wishpoints, but you dont pay enough time being a part of the land. ITs like, a foriegner is requesting access into the deepest areas a city just because he has brownie points with the higher authorities. Pathkeeper is an important place for the lorerootians. I doubt they'd like it if access was granted to someone from the East who has spent absolutely no time in Loreroot when people who have been a part of loreroot from a long log time havent gotten it. Its just not fair if a higher authority bypasses that because in such matters opinion of the people counts too.
  8. Sure.. But if you wanted that stuff, you could always change lands and get the required loyalty. Thats the 'price' you'll be needing to pay for a special wish. Also, you need to stay in the land that much time to deserve access to one of its special areas. Getting it in a custom wish when you arent even a part of that land for a single day, sounds rather unfair. Doesnt it? For example, if you've spent your entire game time in GG and want access to a Necro secret areas through a custom favour... thats very unfair to the necros who have been actually a part of the land for a longer time and dont have access to the area. Loyalty requirement makes it compulsory for one to be 'loyal' to that land for the required period.
  9. Custom wishing takes lots of time. And special occasions. Wishpoint shop wishing is easier to access. Its not like its an abusable wish. Also, if you want to custom get them, you can do that as well. No one said that wishpoint shop items are not custom wishable. Also, they are not never gettable. You need to pay a certain price for them. But hey... you need to pay a price for everything thats rare and precious. :P
  10. Registration time ends. More details will be updated at the aforementioned time Tomorrow. Good luck :)
  11. Yeah thats why loyalty was included in the picture. And i agree with keeping it inside the shop. i'd say 10+ wp.
  12. Put up the entries?
  13. Sent you the five gold coins. Idling at Meeting of the Roads. Reminds me of a devil's deal at the cross roads. Evil symbology Mur. I dont want to sell my soul :P
  14. LAST CALL FOR REGISTRATIONS TILL TODAY EVENING 6PM ST.
  15. So I was thinking, maybe people should be able to get access to restricted land areas (ones not in the wp shop atm) coupled with a certain loyalty requirement. For example: 1 wp + 600 gg loyalty for access to storm coast. Or 1 wp + 600 loreroot loyalty for pathkeeper etc.

  17. Name: *Nimrodel* ID: 131999 Current AD: 1858 MP5 Fav. Fruit: Litchi. Succulent taste which cannot be compared to any other fruit. And the peel is such a teaser. Its like a small challenge you need to overcome before experiencing its incredible flavour. Omnomnom.
  18. As I said in the other thread, since you are OK with a wp quest not being MD themed, that allows me expand my quest creation borders. Ary please don't be sad that there aren't many quests of the sort you want. Create an example by creating one. I am curious about how you'd incorporate your ideas. Also, clear the thread please.
  19. BuMp for the major edit.
  20. Hey Guys! While this is not an entire RICA quest, It’s a prologue of sorts to the next one named Pysanka. This was supposed to be released for Christmas but due to unforseen circumstances, it couldnt be :P So here it is. Few things to note before you start this quest: Post your Names and Player Ids in this thread to register. Registrations End by Saturday Morning 9AM This is a race. First person to Finish it, wins the first place. Least Time taker Wins. The Winners will be announced after the first ten people complete the Quest or 31st of Jan, whichever comes first. So you don’t have forever to complete this Quest : From My side: 1st place:Choice from A wishpoint/ sendtoGOC stone/2g 2nd place:Choice from whichever is left 3rd Place: Remaining Prize. All Participants who finish the Puzzle at The Willow's shop signpost will recieve 1sc. Except for the first three places ofc :P 5. Note every little thing. I will not repeat things if you forget to take notes. 6. This isn’t a very long quest like a regular RICA Quest. Good luck :) 7. Quest starts on 10th of Jan - Sunday at 9am ST. There are a few people who will not be allowed to participate in this quest for the prizes due to unavoidable reasons. You know who you are. MAJOR EDIT: After talking to my awesome coder, I have decided to turn it into a who completes the quest in the least time Sort of thingy. If two people finish it in the same time only then will the person who finished earlier will get the reward. I will get to know your starting and ending times in the quest and the option you chose. BE VERY CAREFUL Regarding your choices. Think carefully before choosing. Any recklessness can get you eliminated in the first part of the quest and there are multiple options that can get you eliminated. There are also multiple options in the quest that will make you wait for more time than the other choices too. So plenty of Holes. So sound advice - Be an honest Gentleman/Lady :) UPDATE: You are a retriever by profession and do petty to major retrieval jobs for earning your daily bread. Your most consistent customer is an organisation called RICA (Rare Item Collectors Asso.) which is known to send retrievers on dangerous jobs for items which are usually heard of in Grandma’s tales or read in dusty old books. The requisitions are always sent by a woman named *Nimrodel*. Getting further details about the RICA has been very very difficult if not impossible. On one fine sunday morning, the postman knocks at your door and delivers you a red envelope which bears a mild fragrance of roses. You immediately tear open the envelope and find a letter inside, a letter you’ve been waiting for. Use 'Visit' Instead of "enter" Apologies for inconveniences.
  21. Murs quest never even entered the boundary lol. Find me 10 MD quests which did not enter the boundaries of MD at all and wishpoints were rewarded. I will give you 1g for it ary.
  22. @Mur: My reply wasn't mocking. I just read that you thought so. It was a short and simple to the point explanation. In the early times people used to believe that there was an edge of the world, and there were many beliefs that crossing the edge of the world would take you to God/ another dimension, etc. Loads of Greek myths. My simple solution was if one kept walking on a flat earth, he would arrive to the edge. And since jumping off the edge might be something like jumping off the planet, you could call it the Bermuda triangle where stuff mysteriously disappeared. All this crap, I summed it up in one line. It's your choice to discuss whatever you consider relevant, irrelevant. Hey... It's your game. And if you want to give away wishpoints for people who stimulate your thought process sure. I'll take it for granted that such themes are allowed in MD for conducting quests and rewarding wishpoints(which I used to believe wasn't encouraged before) and implement it. I am the knight of the feather mur. But I am also a Quest experimentalist. :)
  23. I never said this was a lol quest. I am pretty serious about it. This is not a mockery either. I first came to know about this theory in 10th grade. Your quest sparked interest in me and I decided to put up this quest. If I wanted to give people a reward for being idiotic, I'd already have rewarded DD or aeo or grido for it. But I didnt. This is definitely a serious quest. I intend for it to stay and serious answers challenging the theory, for thinking out of the box, will be rewarded. BTW mur, totally unrelated to the quest, what pissed me of was you giving a wishpoint reward for people entertaining your field of thought, totally unrelated to MD. In my experience, wishpoint rewarding has been dealt with pretty strictly in the past. So its kinda unfair that way. Earth's flatness has nothing to do with md. Also, I am not much of a physics/ metaphysics person but I have plenty of respect for Newton, Einstein, Galileo and Stephen Hawkings and have faith in their beliefs.
  24. So there are people who say that Neil armstrong wasnt the first man on the moon and the whole thing was a hoax. So I challenge you to question the obvious and give me considerable proof that Neil armstrong wasnt the first man on the moon. Link: http://binscorner.com/pages/d/didneilarmstronglandonmoon.html P.S. I will reward a wishpoint to the three most interesting answers :)
