Anyhow, I am back... at this moment only on board. I have no idea if anybody of you here remebers me or not (I know I am not so remebarable so no fault on your side ;I ) but still, I feel I should explain a bit where and why I dissapeared for so long... (If you just came for drinks and cookies you are free to leave now, no hard feelings )

Anyhow, after all the buissnes things I had to take care for I got extremly sick and was actualy on my death-bed (couldnt eat for about a month, was able only to drink but was dehidrayted over the limits, wasnt even able to get out from the bed due to physical exastion and pain etc etc). Anyhow, to make things short at the end they dragged me into hospital and it was, well more or less last minute. After they discovered that I got pneumonia (due to my laying in the bed unable to move etc) they did some further tests and disovered a 10x8x5 cm growth on my ovary. They decided it must go out (naturally) and it should be a standard operation but when they opened me they were in for a disgusting surprise because I had numerous little growths all around my abdomen sticking onto more or less everything and on spleen and so on, so it turned out to be 6 hours long operation with me having only about 5% chance to survive. Wont go in all gory details of it... Anyhow, that was just a bit before New Year. Just last week I had the second and last operation and I got out of hospital just yesterday (with my tummy looking like a battlefield ). Anyhow, basicaly I am just happy to be alive and almost ok now...just need to take better care for me in future.

So thats one of the reasons why I was away for so long, the second one was, as I said work.

But now I would like to return, if you ladies and gentlemans would take ma back...

And well, lets for the sake of discussion saaaaay that you do... and advice please: Should I start totaly anew or pull one of my chars from the closet? Oo

That gender thingy proposed by ladytwin would be quite useful, indeed! But there should be another mark besides male&female... for those that are neither.

Just want to say that I like the interface as it is and at least for me its easy to navigate. If I have to do few aditional klicks, well, what the heck, it doesnt bother me at all. As for seting rituals all that I miss is being able to set them without klicking on somebody and thats all. At for choosing wich crits you want, well, thats why you have crits ID there, so you know if its the same or not and since you can put only 6 crits in one rit there is realy no problem seeing if you inserted same crit twice, just see the last two noumbers. Not to mention you can name your crits diferently when they get lvled up.

[u][b]As for mobile version[/b][/u]... well, you can easily use chat in there, I know, I tryed it when I was without net acces but you will not see the "stage" or be able to move around it or vote for credits and that is good.
[u]The problem that I see[/u], if a real mobile version of it would be done is possibility of absuing it. How? Easy, you would create and alt over your mobile, fight and train you crits and gain days on them and so on and then easily transfer them to your main char that you play over computer since it would not be recognized as an alt. Not to mention transfer the silvers that you might aquire from shop and so on and on. All you would have to keep in mind is never log that char in your PC. Saying that, I am [b]completly against[/b] having this option as mobile would be "same as having second computer with its own IP".

Neutral lands have a purpose, yes

The idea of territory to fight over does sound neat, and it'd promote actual fighting, but neutral lands aren't the place to do it.

MD History map

Since I join this community the history of MD realms has been revealed to me by pieces. I’m aware this subject is tricky and it has generated several conflicts in the past.
Nevertheless…

It is often said that history tells us who we are, so I believe it should be one of the first thing newcomers glimpse when they arrive.
The linear map from the Lord of the Rings (http://strangemaps.wordpress.com/?s=lord+of+the+rings) made me think about a way which we could make past (and present) more accessible and easy for newcomers to relate and get involved.

A multi-lines map of MD can be really interesting and could open the curiosity not only of new people but for veterans too. Each land, each event could have clicking options so people can go forward on personal inquiring and access to MD Archives or interact with veteran’s characters from each land.

I know most ideas die here but at least this is cool way to point some things which makes us wonder.

Considering the vp needed for angiens and later ve that they need for evolving I believe these new setting dont affect a newby player whatsoever. Besides, as some stated, there are ways of raising ap. And, a newby should be focused on other things than getting the strongest crits possible, angien should in a way be holy-grail instead of "a bit better aramor". If its harder now to get to some areas, well, thats good. It makes them a bit more special. If informations are not given out on silver plater, why would acceses to lands be. And if alliance members have a bit of advantage over non-alliance ones now, well, I find that good also considering that there are also negative effects from it. And on the other hand, it is good if newby learnes to "slow-pace", gives more time to actualy think of what you are doing, why you are doing it and how you will do it. Anyhow, I believe the changes are good. I might be wrong, but thats on time to show.

The saddest thing is that in a week or so some of you will pm me about "a bug that 90 ap is not enough to enter or upgrade some things". It usually happens with old players not with those new.

The suggestions the kings made are by far better than what i had in mind. I would suggest 70ap for normal players and slower timers. Of course you would say its insane, but only if you compare with whats now. Seeing it "from scratch" is harder than it seems. A new player should discover the game with lower settings and later get it "faster". What you do its like arguing that a new player cant recruit a Grasan on its first day and see that as an issue.

Makes me laugh when you say i am driving people away with such changes...you should see whats coming.

As a kingship persion we are told to make our rules and distribute as we see fit.
Now i dont agree with just giving them out willy nilly. They must be earned in one
way or another.

Now looking at what is seen in the log i wil say this
the first 5 lact any detail for the reason of giving the WP.
mentoring is a good reason but it would have to be givin more detail that what is there
in my opinion. I have given WP for non quest related thinks. But i beleve they were given

When questions are given answers people generally stop looking into the question. I have found this to be true from personal experience in MD. And so, I have found the word I hate most in MD: balance.

Balance is a tricky answer in MD. "Necrovion was created to counter unbalance." When I first heard that I thought that balance was some sort of magical idea. Unbalance occurs, and then something else magically pops up to counter it. I stopped thinking about the question because I thought that was the answer.

Recently I started thinking back over the question again, but this time I decided to dig deeper: what about Golemus caused unbalance, and what about Necrovion counters it? This time I think I was able to find more information about how balance works in MD, and I don't think the answer is that it just magically occurs.

This post is just to point out what I consider the most insidious answer in MD, and hopefully you can avoid falling into the same trap I did. Questions such as the ones in MD are not so easily answered.

I do, and people were gathering back then as well.
The exception was that it was at willow's shop and that it was slightly harder, since rituals weren't as restricted as they are at GGG.
But, I noticed that that has, if you will it to be so, has absolutely nothing to do with MD being boring.
A gathering place will always exist. And there will always be loners, or explorers, wandering about.
What you have to realize however, is that a gathering place, nor the opposite of a gathering place, necessarily excludes or includes fun and removal of boredom.

I mean, sometimes I go to GGG and there are a lot of people around, but they aren't doing anything and it is boring as crap.
More often than not, I walk around and just randomly talk to people.
What makes MD fun, and this is an example from yesterday, is when I just start blabbing and keep on talking.
I had a conversation with Mya Celestia, well, she was mostly listening and I was mostly talking, but hey, I'm awesome, I'm allowed to do so.
But I can tell you, that it wasn't boring at all.

And this is exactly how I made MD not boring in the past, just, walking around, talking to people, having fun. Mentored some people, like Yami, and on occassion, helped BigC with other contemporary legends.

Either way, fun is something you make yourself, stop whining.

Perhaps you should ask yourself [b]Why[/b] MD seems boring?
Lack of people around seems one. Lack of any concentration of people too. GGG seems to be the only area where you can expect a concentration of people, but it is remote.
There was a more central location once upon a time, but that was torn down, much the same way that it seems that people now want to tear down GGG.
To Fenrir I'd say this. You claim to have ideas that are for the benefit of MD, yet almost all your views get severe negative comments and score all the time. Are you so sure that your ideas are actually helping? I think its great that you obviously know what we all need. I feel much better knowing that we have people like you to guide us in the directions we need to go in, cos we are obviously so idiotic that we can't possibly think for ourselves and the fact that most people can't seem to agree with you just proves that. And perhaps ye should put more emphasis on MD itself rather than seemingly endless hours devoted to forum rants.
