1.
So...let me understand:you don't care about GGG but you care about people. How is that? Cause GGG IS people. Without people it would be the same as <Insert scene name here so you'll not say I am not a democratic person >
i would like to see it stay open, BUT if i doesnt, it really doesnt matter, ill find a place to gather and train.
2.
You have ways of punishing them. Why don't you use them? And what you say it's true (you don't care about GGG) why are you arguing? (and the reason you gave me is not valid...enough).
Oh ur making this easy for me. I don't attack because I'm respecting the rules and other players. I want it open because I like the training.
3.
What blatant disregard? Just because I do not agree with something does that make me disrespectful? You really lost me here...
Yes. Disrepectful. As you so stated. The community established the ggg. For the most part the community as a whole abides by the rules. Save for a select few. No need to finger point huh? So the few that are coming in to take advantage of the communities tree rits to gain wins on the name of "protest" are being disrepectful in my eyes.
4. Yeah I do usually cave. I'm a big softy when I comes to my kids. Brutely honest here. I don't reall don't care what the outcome of ggg is. I just can't stand the outright and blatant disregard for other players that is going on ATM.
5. @DST i personally cant promise anything. Im just trying to find a solution that may satisfy ALL of us, you ggg "brakers" and us ggg "abusers" "Running to Mur" yeah maybe you could view it that way. Looking for a "higher power" to sort through all this crapp is how i view it. Like i stated earlier, my 2 year old does this say exact thing: kicks and screams, cries, does everything in his power to may everyone else around him uncomfortable until we cave in and give him his way. "Typical"
6.
GGG is a community started project. It's not Mur's job to interfere. He already did enough for it, don't you think
WELL then if the community wants it then why do a select few want it gone???????? well then lets stop all this nonsense and put it to a vote. let the people voice their opinion and let it be done.
7. i can halfway understand dst and burns' tactics of coming to ggg and not setting a def rit as a form of protest. BUT there is a player that is amusing themself by coming into the ggg and casting spells that remove a players rit list for a period of time and then using damaging rits to destroy those rits. How exactly is this behavior justified? How is this behavior helping YOUR cause? Maybe, JUST MAYBE i am the one out of line. But ill say this: This players behavior is parallel to that of my 2 year old's. Its immature. Uncalled for. And only HURTS you "crusaders'" cause. And someone had the nerve yesterday to say that MRD was "abusing" his spells by keeping KNOWN offenders out of the GGG by using his. PAH! MUR if you are reading this, you NEED to step in "fix" this problem. Wither its closing the MR training grounds or not. But if this childish behavior continues much longer many players, some old and some new, will stop playing i fear
8. Honestly i could care less if GGG is shut down or not. I personally didn't want it to go public anyway, way back when we MR's started it. Yes for selfish reasons! With that said, ill say this: IF it is "shut down", it will NOT be the end of this type of training. Rogue "training" will sprout up all over the realm. In dark corners of LR, some forgotten room in MDA......you get my point i'm sure. So shutting it down, most likely, wont be the answer. It may make a very select few feel a little better for a bit, until they find something else that they want to campaign against, but hey..... And to No One: i don't believe i said that the game was not fun. (pull those logs) I said that it was things like yesterdays absurd out brake and childish behavior was the reason why i left the game for a while about a year ago. I love this game so much so that my son now plays it as well.
9. im going to write about MRD
10. ill vote yes, i like Light. Hes an ok guy. BUT like others, i feel that there should be a stiff punishment. id say something along the line of only being able to have the LightSage account ONLY. NO ALTS. and possible stats reset. I dont believe that his crits should be taken away tho, yeah he might have cheated AGAIN, but he paid REAL cash for some of those crits and the tokens that were attached to them. So i think that it is only fair that he gets to keep all that. So yes, with a NO alt and a stat reset punishment.
11.
Books I also enjoyed The Wardstone Chronicles by Joseph Delaney and “The Wheel of time” by James Oliver Rigney Jr. a.k.a Robert Jordan
I hear that Jordans wife has selected another author to finish The Wheel Of Time since Jordan passed. Has anyone heard this as well and do you know who it is?
12. Book wise! What are you reading now? Whats it about? What have you read in the past that you consider a MUST READ!! Im ALWAYS looking for new books to pick up and am interested in what you all read. Thanks MRHO
13. for what its worth, i will give my opinion: I have only been active for 195 days as of this post. BUT that number does NOT represent how much actual time that i have put into this game. Though i was reluctant to start playing it at first i, and thanks solely to MRD, i am completely hooked now. Like a junky on SMACK. I would be completely discouraged if there was a reset. As a side note, i am the manager of an online text based game that has suffered a reset. Some of the dedicated (junkies) stayed on to continue playing. Many did not. For some that did stay on, i sometimes believe that they only did so to gripe and complain about said reset. The game lost a great many players. GOOD players. And now, long after the reset, the game is just not the same. Lost its umpf. Boring. As a matter of fact we are in talks about just shutting it down due to the lack of interest and miniscule amount of revenue that it draws. I would HATE to see this happen to MD. Its by far the best online game that i have come across in all my gaming years.
14. yes welcome and please dont forget to read all the announcements
