I am thinking to make the access based on an active days achievement. Anyone reaching x days can write on that site. Make it a mirror of anyone loyal and present in the community.
Or
Anyone that has certain items , such as a crown, a25 tools item, and a few other items of power, can write there, allowing the history to be written by those that have more power to change it anyway
Or
Make more free, md account login and an activated account allows you to write there, but based on what mess you do there you can get more serious consequences... including jail time for stupidity.

Does anyone remember how it used to be? Chew gave access to some or was it free for all based on forum login or? its been to many years for me to remember, but now that its a custom made site, i can add so much more to it

I like option 1 the most. Another idea is that the Archivists decide who can write in the MD Archives.

Why not grant access to those that have actually been around since near the beginning of the game? And are actually still active? Even with this idea, that narrows things down quite a bit.

For example, myself... say I am granted access to write about XYZ, but the one in charge, say an Archivist member has to review and approve prior to what was written be posted?

Anyone that wanted to could add content, typically it was the archivists, we moved a lot of content from the old sites

People with over 100 consecutive days, or over 1000 active days, or anyone holding an item MD Archive Papers, will be able to enter md-archives.com and write what they wish, moderate stuff, or do basically what they want as long as its not vandalism, spam, etc.

This way, this site becomes an earned access. Lets see what will happen.

I made several md archive papers, to me and chew, we can give them on request for cases where that person should clearly have access but does not have the days, if any such case will exist.

Implementation is in progress right now, i will announce it shortly.

Were changes made here since this post yesterday? I was able to log in initially using my MagicDuel username and password, but now those same credentials don't seem to be working.

Also, the concept of a tasker, as alluded to in the announcement sounds really useful.
