Ann. 2146 - [2011-12-27 16:49:42 - Stage 11] Making items functional I am always making items functional if the functionality already exists on other items. All you need to do is to tell me (Mur) about it. It is slow and I might reply after ages, but eventually it will get done. There is no cost or requirement to make an item functional, IF its description and name fit with an existing item functionality in the realm.
See? That is my problem. Mur would do it. But would council do it? My personal experience in that area is not a good one...
2. Question: do you expect that all those functions to be implemented by using the MD Script? Because that is the only "code" that is available for coding items and from what I have seen (I agree, I am not a coder so my experience is very limited but I do have an idea of what and how) the available functions are let's say "light" and I doubt they are enough to implement "effects" like the ones described.

Why stats? Don't you get enough already? How about something else. Like...an aramor that is lost, a bag full of...dust, a losing lottery ticket. We can get stats easy enough and in several ways. Why do you need more?
5. Seems like I was not clear enough: I was talking about FIGHTING contest. What does poetry has to do with fighting (unless you're knight no pants?). Certain spells were removed because certain players (aka RPCs and former mp6) abused them greatly. Read the ann.
6. How come a discussion about HC and BHC ended up in a discussion about depletors? HC/BFH are DIFFERENT from torches. Think at things that would IMPROVE HC and NOT torches. @Alyon: when Heads ability was first given to Wodin, he along with few other RPCs organized small quests which involved heads. Or at least they were part of quests. Why not start by holding small contests where heads are involved? There is at least 1 player that still has the ability to control heads outside HC and maybe he will help you. This way you maybe awake the taste for small competitions which involve heads. And in time, when players will get re-used with the heads and with their value HC will be more popular... I don't know...I'm just throwing some ideas.
7. Khalazdad's creatures are, if you apply today's standards, lame at best. Characteristics? He was a normal player who was turned into a legend by few players. He left early in the game. Except for part of AL, he did not extraordinary. Except maybe for having 4 wives . I have more respect for Wodin for example than for Khalazdad. Khalazdad use to speak using big words and parabolas. He could easily impress noobs which as I said, turned him into a legend. But in fact he was just a person with a very good vocabulary.
8. And what does the in game character has to do with the USER Khalazdad? Could you please enlighten me?
9. And this is the best thing you thought of "tributing" him? Really?
10. Did you at least know Khalazdad? If you did, do you know that he stopped playing about 4 years ago? Same with Daemon Toblabla for which another player opened a HBD thread. What's the point of opening such threads? There are better ways to spam the forum than this.
11. Amazing! I just saw the clip. I don't usually like kids too much but yours Maeb is amazing! He's so natural and fearless! Thank you for the quest, the prizes, the fun and the kid
12. Let's forget about Mur, let's forget about Council for a moment. The only "authority" left is Rumi. What if he simply doesn't like what you planted? Let's say you plant mint. But Rumi hates mint and he asks you to remove it. Will you keep complaining? Don't forget: it's his project, he makes the rules, he takes the decisions. My personal opinion is that you choose that "culture" because you wanted to create a bit of fuss. Well you managed. Congratz! Now, move on.
13. Few things you can try: -get latest flash -clear cookies and cache -use another browser and see if you have the same issue

15. We're all going to die Well wookie...leave damn UK and move to RO. I can't guarantee you'll have food and shelter but you'll always have internet!
16. Thank you all for the wishes. It's my 5th anniversary in MD . I never thought I would last THIS long.
17. If he wants to run the ally by himself then he doesn't need an ally and TK should be disbanded. The purpose of an ally/guild/whatever is to gather people with the same objective under the same roof. Besides, the idea was tested in the past and failed badly (see all the complaints towards TKs and crass inefficiency that was governing).
18. GG sold. If you want spell stones, you know how to find me. Don't make idiotic offers for the spells. Mods, please close this. Thank you.
19. Define abuse. And how can you minimize the "death" effect? Any change towards that way will simply change the death to something else: death attempt, murder attempt etc. It's unfair to this mechanism to nerf it just because we see it as a "negative" thingy. I see bad RP as a negative thingy but I never asked for it to be "nerfed" (oh well...I tried but god knows those bad RP-ers are worse than <insert the worst thing you can think of> ). If you apply such change to death then apply it to ALL existing spells/items/actions.
20. Why sorry? It's his decision. It's what makes him happy. We should be happy for him. He's doing what he wants.
21.
Ann. 2368 - [2012-08-07 02:24:14 - Stage 11] The head of the Treasure Keepers is starting to smell. We can't stand it anymore. We have called in a specialist to fix this but some strong-hearted adventurers need to go and find this specialist. His name is Molquert, and Molquert will now appear whenever anyone in the realm dies. The problem is Molquert never does anything for free. Beware, he cannot hear anyone from the land of the living unless they have defeated both of his guards so first find them, declare your intentions and they will attack you. Defeat them, then you need to find Molquert. Do not try to trick Molquert, his guards will be keeping him informed and trying to trick him could end very badly for you... This is the first stage in the implementation of a new revival process. Good Luck!
So let's wait and see. Why change something that's not even finished yet?
22. Buhuhu. Players are getting killed. There are several ways to resurrect them but we are too lazy to apply them. What do we do? We try to change the system. If you think that way why not have also the revival spell/item/whatever backfire? As in it can also not work. Or spells. Or fights. Or broken minds.
23.
As for Elus, I doubt something that changes inventory of its own will would be implemented unless it couldn't be traded normally, therefore stopping unsuspecting people from buying them and losing them the next day.
Actually...that is the purpose of Elu...It is implemented but it's not active.
24.
There is a way to make it snow any time of year - not including the spell.
Nobody said anything about the spell. Besides, the spell does nothing. Only shows a nice pic on the trigger box.
25. We have that...for snow...during winter.
