Trying to use Gimp, so far so good, lots of pictures I need to play with though Thanks all.

Anyone know a ~good~ free programme that I can watermark images with? (Preferably not a free-trial) The watermark itself should be resizeable/scaleable so that I can use it on smaller images as well as larger ones. Thanks LE: I have looked through google a bit, but some ask for card details cos of free trial, others are generally rubbish. Was hoping someone here had used/found a decent one.

Alternatively other players have been revived through community effort, you have made 0, zero, zilch, nada, no effort whatsoever to get revived, try it if you don't like the price asked, costs you nothing. You made the effort in drawing the avatars, yes, but you SOLD them, THEY ARE NO LONGER YOURS, you have no input over how they are used anymore. You got paid your creds for them, you CHOSE to spend the creds on the drachs and tokens, nobody forced you to, it's definitely not MDs fault you spent your payment on things you can't use at this present moment.

Message might want to get changed when it's an honour issue, but yeah, not a bug, closed

description of each item in the shop. In any other game where you might die, you would be reset, lose stats, equipment, creatures or whatever else you've listed, what have you actually lost here? You still retain everything on your account you had prior to being killed. There are even ways to be revived so that you can then use such things again. I am failing to understand your reasoning for asking for your avatars back here, you have lost absolutely nothing whatsoever, yet you seem to somehow believe you've lost everything. Death is not the end, it's merely another way to play. You sold the avatars to MD, you were given credits for them, there were no conditions relating to your continuing playing or living happily ever after in MD after you sold them. You have no leg to stand on to ask for them to be removed from MD.

You get killed by game mechanics, game mechanics also offer ways to come back to life. If that second part didn't exist I could pretty much understand where you're at. But it does. I can name at least 10 players I think, all who have been killed like you, and all who have one way or another come back to life again. The fact that you're not attempting to shines more on you than it does the game.

You are ~selling~ the avatars to MD when you get the credits...it's not like someone can paint a picture, sell it, then down the line change their mind...

New or old, you may have questions about what various things do in game, what things are, or what you're meant to do. Whilst some of this information would be spoilers and so shouldn't be public, there's a lot of information around the game designed to help you. The picture below (click to enlarge) is there to indicate where you might find answers to your questions, be that through in game text, or from the Live Help messaging system where you can ask LHOs questions. [attachment=3882:FAQ Help Mk2.png] Anywhere (aside from the game chat) you see a linked "?", "Info" or "More Info" will direct you towards help text relevant to where you find it. A few are pointed out with arrows in the picture. There are other help texts pointed out below the figure in armour. You may not have this armour figure - it is an Extra Feature in the game shop, in this case they will display slightly higher than in the picture, but still be fairly noticeable. Alongside these there are some signposts, as circled in the first image, in certain scenes. In the case of signposts some are helpful game texts, others are 'clickables' which players can edit after gaining the ability, the difference in appearance is below. 'Clickables' are all over the realm in different shapes and sizes, the attic cord in the Paper Cabin Study Room is one for instance. Players tend to use them for quests, but they're also used for other purposes. The reason I didn't suggest about fighting for it, is due to the stronger fighters then dominating the living side - I am pretty certain there would be waves of comments about it being unfair blah blah as soon as they started showing interest. That being said, just clicking seems a little non-effort

What stops me from signing up (which I presume is involved somewhere), and being online for 10 secs a day then logging out to prevent people clicking on and turning me? What happens if 5 people do the above? Would it then last a ridiculous length of time, or would there be some sort of cut off? An "interesting" addition, to mildly combat the length it lasts for (it causes other issues) would be for the zombies to "die" (go to GoC) if they dont infect anyone every 3 days. If all the zombies die, the survivors get rewarded.

I would agree with you on your points about what an LHO is there for, and what should be expected about them. It's not intended to cheapen the LHOs but to ensure that other players don't use them as a scapegoat for their actions. To prevent players from using as their defence that an LHO said it was alright to do.

I asked him to add that bit, there's precedent for LHOs saying things were alright to do, even though they were listed in the rules page as not so. Personally I feel that it isn't an excuse to have not read the rules yourself and rely that someone else must be telling the truth because they hold a certain position. It is a player's own responsibility to maintain accordance with the rules, not anybody else's.

I want to commend Isabella for her online time, at one point (if not more) it was 8am where she lived, and she pretty much asked permission to get a couple hours sleep whilst me and Lone Wolf pondered one of her riddles, because she hadn't slept the night before to be online for people. That's not to put down the other Challengers, they've all been amazing and dedicated, but just wanted to say that about her. Overall fun with difficulties as has been mentioned previously. A way to improve - presuming automated is out of the question (and I kinda don't like that idea anyway), couple people working together at posts with offset timezones and a mutual document of some sort where they could say who'd been set q's and the answers etc. Also, rather than teleport items or spells, how about the use of Keys? When you get the q correct you can the key to progress on to the next scene or something, this way players can go back to the rest of the realm whilst waiting for the next challenger to come online or something - like Burns said, repopulating the rest of the map, rather than leaving it mostly empty. If they get the q wrong, the keys all get removed and teleported back to the start.
