1.
"What happens with eon is a phenomenon that happens very often in rl" Aye I have seen it several times myself. Idi Amin Dada Dictator Obiang Gaddafi Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti I've seen this way of 'enforcing' ones own paradise many a time in my long years of life.
Off topic I guess In the latter two cases there was US and a puppet called UN to topple them. Now tell me who is the UN and the US of MD ??
 2.
"It seems Eon is becoming a problem. I'm not talking about skill damage (even-though its a part of it) but rather other bitchy things Eon has started doing. He has too much power to be contained by most of the MP5's kings/queen's are helpless because any action against him would obviously reverted by Mur. May be because Eon brings a lot of cash to the game which it needs. So it's time to fix Eon if the community think it is a problem."
First of all I do not have a problem with Eon personally or with its skill damage. Then why am I doing this? People will know in time if I ever manage to get to the place I want. Why I want to write the above quote was from the Yrth's resignation letter its pretty clear that he as a king was tied down in doing certain things or refrained from doing certain things because an overrule from any party will harm his dignity as a King and an individual in game. I agree I would have not written the 2nd last line when thinking about it adds a bad flavor. Also I was in a hurry to write did not think much at that time. So I apologize to Mur in this regard. Now about meta-gaming. I too think events which happen in-game should stay in-game. But with the large time difference we people operate sometimes you need a thing like this. Also as my last line suggests I ask people to get together not rant about Eon or asking any other person in game to help me. I say Eon is over powered so be it but as Mur has pointed out there are enough and more tools in MD to deal with this but what we are lacking is the unity to achive a single task. Initially when needles came in I thought the community would make a effort to use it properly and use it towards their own betterment not necessarily Eon but Leixer, Yoshi or any other. But now the needle has become a flashy item in someones inventory for a week an another and so on and people use it for nothing. All I urge is to people to get together and do things. I pointed the DOJO as an example because it was also like this. Nobody could fight at MDP without getting yelled at if you do not ask. Majority of the MD community was not even interested to say its an issue. Now we at least have threads about Eon how many did we have about the dojo before incident. Then Dojo did something most people know and then the community got together and worked against it and the dojo was no more. So according to that it seems MD needs a trigger event so everbody can rally around. Once the mob happens it becomes unstoppable and a very destructive force about thousand times Eon aka tarq's dark knight. I just read this thread so now I know whom to speak to regarding actions we can plan Amoran count me in. My request is get together in game and lets start bashing and get the balance in MD once more.
 3. I hope the wind will return you to MD one day. Good luck in your journey.
 4.
What do you suggest is done about Eon?
Why do you ask me? Isn't it a thing we as a community should decide??
 5.
Actually in the End the Dojo turned into the Sparring ground, which is losely held together by people who still abide by its rules.
Well not as enforcing as the former right Chewe?
 6. I support Nad in his statement.According to me he is the only dowser who did his work properly. Most of the other dowsers including the citizens of MB has not used the exclusive tools which was provided for them. So punishing Nad due to the zest of doing the job he loves to do in MD is absolutely ridiculous according to my humble opinion. I always believe its good to use all the tools actively rather than flashing it in your inventory without doing anything with it. If one goes by this principle all people who has tools without using them is culpable of the same offense. This also includes people who takes the tools and keep them away due to it being used against them. In Mur's eye as per me the former looks an abuse and the latter looks a strategic movement I guess. It seems Eon is becoming a problem. So it's time to fix Eon if the community think it is a problem. Let me conclude with the following lines "There was a thing called DOJO. Everybody supported it at the start then it became too power hungry and enforcing. Tested their power of spells a step too far and at the end of it DOJO was not existent." It's high time we start doing something about this....
 7.
Not to mention that fact that MB should get some pass papers. When they were initially intended to open locations MB never got any, if they are being changed to teleport MB should get some otherwise mur breaks his own rule of "treating all lands fairly"
Oh come on Chewe MB is already accessible enough
 8. I too think sanctuaries are too much a common place now. From GOE the whole left path through the Fenth's press is a sanctuary. I really did not see a necessity to have sanctuaries in places where public meetings are held and it never happened in the past. But with the recent advancements in the game like giving skill damage to three players can have disastrous proportions if the meeting was not done in a sanctuary. Therefore I agree with Mur on holding public meetings in a sanctuary or making that location a sanctuary. However I also don't like these locations to be a sanctuary forever. So here are the solutions I propose.

Remove skill damage ability from the players which posses that ability until the public gathering is over. I say this because its not the lost fights one gets irritated with its the negative stats one would get. An un-allied MP5 attending a 2 hour meeting in a non-santuary location can get attacked roughly around 40 times. If I take Eon as an example (which I'm sure will attack to the maximum capability given the opportunity ) that MP5 would loose roughly 40* (-0.12) per skill which is too much for attending a meeting.
The next idea I have is keep a specific location (might be easily accessible to all like GOE or some other deep place) for public meetings. When public meetings happen the link in the trigger box will get people to the location. Make that place a sanctuary and we don't need to make anymore places sanctuaries.
Another idea is to provide unlimited number of attacklock spells for all people attending the meeting which is castable at that location only. So the people who don't want others to attack them can do so if they wish.
I don't like too much sanctuaries so Mur should remove all the additional sanctuaries but I would like to keep Awiiya's place as a sanctuary in respect of the tree. Also this is not the place to say this but I'm too lazy to create another topic. Lets decorate Awiiya's tree as our Christmas tree this year.
 9. Oh I edited the page on DOJO with what happened to me Hope that's not a spoiler.
 10. Personally I don't like the fact you need to be online to know the time and location. Maybe location can be kept secret in order for things like items etc... but telling the time would help people a great deal in scheduling their RL stuff. I'm usually not available after about 1800Hrs up until about 0600Hrs server time since I need to sleep and I don't have access to a PC at the place I'm currently based. Other times I can manage with some adjustment so since this is happening at the latter end of day 292 I think I might miss the event as well. This does not mean I do not care. I care about things in MD as much as all of its players do but there are things in RL which one cannot avoid. But I really love the fact this is spoken in an event as Pip pointed out.
 11. I thought of replying to this post. But this not generally about Grido or to go against him but these are the reasons I see that has created this situation in the first place. I have been in this game long enough (some people might say I was not an active role player bla bla bla but have seen me around well I survived for 964/1248 days and counting ) to know how it has changed for the worst. These are my views and other people in the game might have different views to these. One problem I see is too much power is vested on a single player. I'm not talking about Mur I'm talking about the others. Power is open to abuse and that is what I'm seeing here with dst, Grido etc.... I do not mind people using power after they have attained them through the formal methods(like getting into MP6 etc.. or winning contests) in the game. But I do not like people using power which is given to them to perform administrative tasks (LHO) or test (game testers) out features. I agree with Pip on monopolizing stuff in MD (which I think should never happen). Memory stones have become a big business and it is configured in such away that only people with higher number of spells can actually cast them in which makes them real money spinners. Simply they control much of the wealth in MD. Which means they can do anything they want and get what ever they want for insane prices or very rare stuff and get away with anything. I liked the idea when Mur distributed reality coagulators and stone detectors for not so power hungry people like MoM, Aranna etc.... This actually did more good to the community and made certain resources available and did not charge insane prices for that like most of the veteran sellers do. Majority of the community do not care power abuses and things such as POE case unless it happens to them. Then the victim will call foul in the open and the others (majority) who is not affected by these incidents says not my business/has not happened to me still or is trying to get even with the guy who gave the punishment. As things are getting more and more insane and people who has power has everything and people who does not could barely survive. And with POE's new revelation of 44 days story it seems there is are problems which are swept under the carpet for a certain set of players and the others are publicly damned. The game does not want to loose players, and if veterans are thinking of leaving citing these reasons other than the most common reason which is RL there is a serious problem somewhere. Finally its very clear that people who have power wants to rein power and do not want others to get it. Their RL friends etc... can be given favors of any magnitude. So where are we heading??? We are heading to a day where most of MD is dead with only powerful people left. They too will quit once there is nobody to exercise there power. Which will render MD a thing in the past. MD is not a normal game which attracts any tom dick and harry so what we attracted we need to keep otherwise the doomsday will arrive much quickly than we think. As Rendril said if the options in Pips vote was different then the result would have been different as well. So I do not agree with Chewett saying public as already spoken. I myself is undecided.
 12. I have the following problem with respect to mirror magic. When a player is under this spell all the other attackers including himself fights their own ritual. So when player A attacks player B who is under the influence of this spell A fights his own crits. The problem I find is this. When A attacks B with 100%(or other values) influence and A wins I find that B has lost its vitality. So my question is does this spell represent an actual mirror? I'm thinking not since a mirror should refelect every thing and damage A's crits and VE. I also think the mirror should reflect the spells cast as well. I would like to know you ppls view on this. If this is a spoiler please remove post.
 13. I actually think this is good idea. I fully support MoM and KB in this. There has been many things happening in MD and some people liked it and some did not. For example there was a slave trade in MD sometime back. Hope people can remember that.I think MD as a place of opportunity to try things out and see whether it goes well with the community and whether it could be a part of the community in the long run. May be mur made the dices expecting things like this So let's give this a try and see. Hopefully we will have enough people to make it fun.
 14. I agree with Rendril. I think the question should have bee decomposed into more specific options rather than giving black and white answers. I think I was late by the time I informed Pip. One of my questions would have been "Is conflict of interest forcing Grido not to think clearly", another would be "Should favors etc.. should be done in game because of RL friendship." I'm too lazy to put a pole up for this so I decided to post my Q's
 15. That thread has an inflated price far as I see it. If you are going by that ratio count me out.
 16. I would like to knw who placed the bid for 21 stones. I took 10 stones from Aranna for 1GC. So 21 stone should be around 32 sc. If you go by this tariff I will offer 2GC 2SC
 17.
Yes, I have conflicts of interest, so does every other player that has lived or will lived. [will finish this later if required]
Everybody has conflicts of interest, nice defense. Magnitude of conflict of interest is what matters. Looking at your magnitude of the same offense I think you are very lucky to be in the position you are which reigns power. I don't know why most of the others don't see this. Also I would like to know how did you collect evidence against Phantom Orchid? BP
 18. I need to clarify this point. Phantam orchid is publicly humiliated for a mistake as an example to other LHO's and wanna be LHO's. My question is how consistant are you(grido) in your own methodology? You publicly humiliate a segment and you a have soft corner with a cummulative option for your friends etc... There is a complaint from seigheart in the forum and you say you are not answerable for your actions and say in game you did something. So why not tell us that some punishment out in the open like this one. I absolutly agree with tarq's comment on manipulating the system as in abuse of power and conflicts of interest. We are exactly heading that way. I clearly understand why Pip is taking this stance. It's too clear you have conflicts of interests and you have proved it many times over and over again. I don't want to go in to that details but its for everyone to see. So I think its justice done if you treat other people the same way or retract phantom orchids verdict to the famous cummulative one. One idea I have to improve this system is have a set of people controlling LHO even its a small percentage to prevent abuses of this kind. BP Edited due to almost simultaneous posts.
 19. I like this idea. I accidentally pressed the null vote button so could not vote (It should have been Yes for the first Q and no for the next). If its like having a color for each type of attack and crit separately it would be brilliant and easily identifiable.
 20.
it is my 3rd week in being an mp5, still learning, still scared of the mp5s who i fear even before, running away from them, and fighting with those mp5s that i see "in-public" that i think i have a chance on winning. that's the way i see the cycle of being a meat in mp5. you are in that mp level in how many months? years? you should know better than anyone else about the 'way of living' in this mp level, but yet you are still complaining about people hiding? good luck on this gimmick of yours
I have been an MP5 for about 3 years but the number of days is not the real matter. The days gone by there were very many MP5s to fight in the out. Nothing like hide and seek as in now. Most people whom are outside are eithe MP6 or don't have crits to fight with so they don't have an issue after all and most others are in sanctuaries.I have neve seen sanctuaries being this much popular idling spot. Why most people don't come out is they don't want to loose there stats. These days people don't do a proper defence coz one have a chance of a token whore smashing it. Usually you get a single crit or a set of another token whore(that seems to be the only viable option for most attacks.) So do you get my point??? Its not about loosing its about not getting your stats destroyed. Today my opponents were TTL, amber rune, duxie, lone, amoran, maebuis, no one, shem (that's all I can find in the time I was online and outside of sanctuaries). The list above looks pathetic isn't it. I have to wait till the timers go so. I can fight again this was never the case in the days gone by.
 21.
do you really want more people in public ready for duels? or you just want more weak mp5s to come out from dens so you can easily train your critters and stats?
First one should be the answer. I would like to know how one whould become strong if you don't duel or don't have people to do so. I think you consider yourself as a strong mp5 hence your comment. The first thing is you people don't have a darn clue about the the fighting system but have ranked up many wins thanks to tokens. Some of you people have insane statistics due to stat mills like the GGG or the DOJO. When you people have accumulater enoguht of both you consider yourself strong and the people either whom are lesser privilaged and oppose stat mills are considered weak??? Why I commented on this topic earlier is I'm one of the weak ones going around and I need to get stronger and you need ppl to duel with. Since nobody would set up trees these (like when you trained in GGG) days and stay out in the open idle thanks to stat damage.
