Shadowseeker got a reaction from Nava in Conceptual Matter Regarding Death And Life ImportanceThis depends upon your view of what shall happen afterwards.
If you believe the death is the final end, the void, nada, then no.
Because a meaningless life has a chance to create something a new, while the death uterrly bars that option.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Sasha Lilias in WTB G And SCI can also sell them to you, have all of what you're looking for. Though it would help if you let me know when you're online so we can meet up.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Kyphis the Bard in item mix - Bottomless Toy ChestDepending on the cooldown of production, amount of items and decay of items this seems okay.
However, I would suggest using the maximum stat of a person and not the current amount...else we will probably have cases where someone uses temporary boosts followed by these items resulting in effects that would probably be unintended when giving these items out.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Rophs in Pet rockI'd suggest the slow growth of a pet rock using resources.
You could make it either be a crystal or maybe something like a sandstone.
If it's a crystal, you have to keep feeding it with water+something dissolved in it, but I don't think that is the best.
For sandstone or so, I think I'd suggest using a heat pebble and sand, plus heat. Creating a heated pet rock? Or something of the sorts, makes much more sense too for it to become a pet then, no? Maybe some wiiya sooner or later too at some stages to keep on growing.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Ary Endleg in Center of the LabyrinthAs I said, I think it's similiar to the GoE. The middle, 0x0, but with the additions to MD and so on the actual middle isn't there anymore I think- thus creating a midpoint that has been shifted. I haven't precisely counted the rows and columns yet, but if Myths numbers are right, then that's even more reason to assume it is like that.
Per se you could define two midpoints: One point of origin, and one point of the middle of the results of changes (for whatever reasons).
As for the labyrinth and the actual reason why it has been shifted or is in this state, that's a whole another question. But I tend more towards shifted instead of saying it cannot exist unless we believe in it- because the fact that we can assume that it should be there but isn't there is similiar to the observers spot or even just a spot "lost in time". Claiming it cannot exist without belief would then be too imprecise.
edit: unprecise wording on cannot exist, changed to cannot exist without belief

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Ary Endleg in Center of the LabyrinthWhy do you base it on -0.5 in the coordinates? If you go strictly by geographical distance, it would be 0x0. A point which doesn't exist isn't something new, but why are the coordinates broken that specific way?
-
Shadowseeker got a reaction from Ary Endleg in Center of the LabyrinthGuess I miscounted the rows, that explains the midpoint...still, wouldn't it be more precise to say the point has shifted instead of claiming it is a point that can't exist? I mean there is a reason why a coordinate should exist which is 0x0, even if in reality the middle is supposed to be 0x-0.5
I think it should be kind of similiar to the GoE.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Clock Master in ANN 3227 - 20 cartography skill pointsI reached 20 cartography first and was the first to know where all are, but in fact I currently hold 26 cartography with 19 obelisks.
(MD Shop has boosters which can increase stats)
That's also why I told dst where the last one was because I was doing this for fun and had my goal after reaching 20 cartography anyways, especially since the announcement only requires you to have 20 cartography in order to receive the reward. (Good old MD style of questing if anyone remembers....)

Shadowseeker reacted to dst in Collecting Addresses for Title DistributionI can (and probably will for the players that already said yes) ship some of the doc while sending the murmas cards (I'm already sending an envelope so it doesn't matter if i add 1,2,3 extras).

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Fang Archbane in Tribunal CrownI agree it would help the land and would be valid as a point mechanism, but I doubt Mur will do anything "soon", nor is it good to do anything expecting him to do something in a case like this. Very bad for the odds of it actually happening usually.
-
Shadowseeker got a reaction from Rophs in Tribunal CrownIf you have no patience for the long term, perhaps it would be better if you stepped down as a candidate. Though I do wonder who will judge and award points with Mur being Mur.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from lashtal in Tribunal CrownYet your own haste, or shall I call it brashness should make you reflect if you are suited for it? To be a ruler means to be of no equal, at least in some regards. In the scale of judgement, both of us are still equal.
.
The East is an increase in complexity from the mainlands, for me. It is a land of exploration, of discovery and the land I am interested in. If I take on the power and obligations of a ruler, I would be there, silent until needed or asked for help. In essence, there for you if you ask for it, but also absent if you wish for that. I aim to understand things on a fundamental level, am guided by my code of honor in my actions and utilize knowledge and wisdom to choose. I believe if something is truly needed or wanted, there exists a way to that, no matter how impossible it seems.
The future of the East is the future of its people to me. For without people, there is no land. Thus I would primarily aid those who are citizens of the East, and occasionally recruit some people.
If you have more detailed questions, I will be able to provide a better answer.

Shadowseeker got a reaction from Eagle Eye in Tribunal CrownThere's no activity of mine because there is nothing for me to do in MD. I've been around a little bit more recently, but I agree that inactivity could be a problem. (To be fair, right now I am focusing on my master studies which means I will be barely available during exam periods. I do assume that in a nonexam period I will be around much more for the next year, but i have no idea how it will be like once I enter the worklife.)
My next steps will involve research, but I am not sure how I should execute it, or whether I should at all. I would however aim to make some things public, or at least more open to public discussion. Apart from that I have no plans yet- I mostly replied here because I thouhgt Eon's claim was way immature.
Edit: Perhaps this should be split off however? This has become more of a discussion than a Historic Document.
