I have been talking him about this. Just because no one publicly has criticized him, doesnt mean he hasnt been criticized. But i doubt anyone else has said anything because thats how MD is, no one speaks against Mur. While i disagree that he is laundering his favors, i pointed out in my email to him that if anyone else were to run a quest like this they would not be permitted to reward a wishpoint, let alone run it. We are still discussing it.

Generally being a reward for doing good work relating to it or good work in general. Could be a QMR, council, mur, coder reward. Essentially anyone who has the power to give it, could theoretically.

There are other means of attaining land citizenship for the non main lands.

The reasoning of putting the MD in is that you cannot then steal an image from the internet and then just put MD into it digitally. Normally people request you put MD in on a piece of paper in some form, so that you can see that the image was specifically taken for MD. Cant you write it on a piece of paper and take a picture.

Now scale that up to Archives (nearly always at 40 visc - given that a multiplier of 5 and walked a lot during GGG days) no mans land - given a multiplier of 1 LR - 4 scale factor - walked a lot NC - 3 scale factor - walked a bit GG - 3 scale factor - walked a bit 90 * (1 + 5 + 1 + 4 + 3 + 3) = 17 * 90 = 1530 Now lets pretend i walked the lands evenly over my years 1530 / 8 = 191 And lets again assume i devide it equally to each month 191 / 12 = ~16 In two months, i reach your "reserved" value of those who really want to increase it? Thats silly. The only reason im not already on the 19 or so from the first month of it is because im not playing atm. In addition, this 16 fits well with most people who are actively playing MD, see above. ------ TOO LONG, DIDNT READ: 40 is easily achievable without any form of grinding, just move around each day as the above people have shown you.

Iv walked to GoE a couple times, and went to the shrine (its a +40 most days) and already have 3.something. Literally nothing else since this feature came out. Everyone will reach 5 within a really short period of time. 40 will also be reached pretty quickly.

That might be a bug, the value shouldnt change for each combat log.

Its an item, you can use it whenever you want. If anything changes as to allowing it to be used or not then it will be announced.

I used to have a Backstory from "before MD" but in the end i removed it all becuase now my history is purely based on my time in MD. People cant remeber/werent around for everything i have done, so why should they learn about some made up rubbish from before that, when so much of my history is forgotten anyway? Your actions in MD will form the more important backstory. Those are fixed.

If you radically change your back story, i would agree thats bad. Because your back story is what makes your character, a character. But obviously every day your character has an option to change in some ways, so change.

Yeah known minor bug, no one has ever got around to fixing it. I fixed it in interface but not on that page.

Thats what Mur gave me at the time, i wasnt a coder then. I will look into adding the others at a later date, but this is low priority.
