  1. It was previously the MD, but i didnt like it because i couldnt tell the differnce between the two from just looking at the icons. If someone wants to make it i can upload it :) Something MD themed but different from the main one. Google "how to make a favicon"
  2. How will that affect the scrolling of the arrow keys? ws would resolve that.
  3. New edit to first post: EDIT EDIT EDIT: I plan to make an e-card which will essentially have the same content and send it to everyone who i dont physically send cards to.
  4. Iv never really done this, but i think i will this year. Anyone that wants to receive a christmas card from me, please send me your address/similar. I will try and send one to everyone but money is not limitless and i have no clue how much its going to cost to send stuff out to places. I will also be receiving cards if anyone wants to send one to me, but wont necessarily give my address out to everyone for privacy reasons, so please dont be offended if i dont give you my address. EDIT: thanks to dst ofc for starting this off. EDIT EDIT: iv done the maths and i can only really afford to send ~10 or so. First come first served most probably, sorry :( EDIT EDIT EDIT: I plan to make an e-card which will essentially have the same content and send it to everyone who i dont physically send cards to.
  5. I talked to Mur about that, he said he was a special case and could do what he wants. Ack however does not have this privilage. So i dont think you can compare them, let alone get Mur to actually take his way, unless ofc PC wants to try this which would be amusing.
  6. So you are ignoring the rules about wishpoints need to be valid, for appropriate and useful quests and are required to have shown some form of effort to actually attain them? Based on your view there, am i allowed to make an entirely subjective quest and repeatedly reward my friends? This is nice reading material: Ann. 2008 - [2011-09-02 20:52:08 - Stage 11]
  7. As per my post in http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/13872-forum-death-quest/?p=146213 I would like my wishpoint to be removed. The quest was not one that should ever be repeated, There was no learning nor any serious entries. Specifically in my case it was detrimental to both Mur, Council and the general public as i was not going on the forum. I ended my participation early due to a need to do some forum work relating to my coding for MD. This quest should not have had a wishpoint sponsored for it, and the winner, me, should not have been given it. Since i am the one who achieved the WP i feel i am perfectly within my rights to demand it be removed on the grounds that it was not a valid quest since it does not affect anyone else. Please PC decide if it was a valid quest and if you want to be giving wishpoints out for such petty and detrimental quests. As Mur said, the forums are part of the game and he felt the quest was exceptionally poor. Thanks.

FYI please read the bug reporting guidelines ingame, i have made a post about them on the forum also
  9. Please follow the ingame bug reporting guidelines when reporting bugs. For convenience, they are posted here, but the ingame ones will always be the most up to date so we encourage you to check them. ----- Step 1: Identify what type of bug it is You need to look at what the bug is doing or lets you do and decide what action you need to take. A quick check-list is: Is the bug abusive? - If you could gain significantly from using the bug, then it is not appropriate to post on the forum. These should be sent directly to bugs. See Step 4: Contacting bugs. Has the bug only happened to me? - If the bug has only affected you, and you dont think it is going to affect anyone else you should follow Steps 2 and 4 but report it directly to bugs, instead of the forum. Has it already been reported or announced? - You should also check the forum and ingame to see if there are any announcements about it. Its possible that someone has reported the bug and it is known, or there is an announcement about the bug. Step 2: Wait and talk to others A large number of bugs occur while we are working on the code of MD. This means that you will see errors appear randomly. But these will normally all disappear after work has finished. If the bug still occurs after half an hour of when it started then you should go to step 3. During this period you should talk to others about the bug. This is to see if others are getting the same error. These players may know more about the bug or know that what you report isnt a bug but a feature. Sometimes things may be implemented that you dont know about, causing wrong bug reports. LHO's should be able to help with this. If the bug is abusive or private, you should not talk to others, and go straight to step 4. Step 3: Post on the forum If you have checked the recent threads and cant find any post of the bug, you should report it on the forum. This will let us see your post but also allow others to offer help. There are a lot of cases where the community can help you faster than we can. Providing information such as a screenshot and what you did to cause the bug is vital in fixing it and your account if there is any issue. The Bug Forum is the place to check for bugs. Step 4: Contact bugs If there is an abusive bug or a private matter that you shouldnt post on the forum you should contact bugs directly. This can be done via the email address bugs@magicduel.com. When contacting them you should state your playername so that they know who they are talking to. Describing the issue fully and including helpful printscreens where appropriate is also required so that we can help resolve the issue. Step 5: Contact an authority directly This step should be used as a last resort, to resolve an issue that is urgent or needs attention very quickly. Examples of this are game breaking bugs that are stopping people being able to play MD. Current list of those with authority who should be contacted in order of priority: Chewett - via PM's, chat, email, or yahoo instant messenger MD Council - email Muratus del Mur - chat, email NOTE: he doesnt read pm's until much later so this isnt an urgent response, same goes for emails, he might never read them. Muratus del Mur should only be contacted on features that he is working on or game breaking issues that have occurred and there is no one else to talk to. I (chewett) get all bugs@ emails directly to my phone, so this is the quickest ways to resolve an issue (provided im not sleeping) and you should have already contacted bugs in step 4. If im on yahoo instant messenger and there is something urgent, do yim me, my yim is chewett@rocketmail.com (note: i do not check emails sent to this account, if you wish to email me use chewett@magicduel.com).

See: If you are contacting me, use coder@magicduel.com and be patient as im currently reinstalling windows.
  12. Eara just pointed this out to me:
  13. Forever up.
  14. And if you read my post:
  15. A very good point DD. I think that LHO's should be given some form of leeway in deciding what is a spoiler, but again. As i said above this should be decided on by Grido and approved by the LHO's in general. Nim can you add all the Moderators including me into the conversation with grido, assuming its on the forum. Again, i would move these discussions into a new thread DD so it can be more openly discussed.
  16. I wrote a load and it broke... Long story short, some things are universally considered spoilers (beating LR guards) and some things arnt. What is considered a spoiler now may not always (see Burst, back in my day it was a uber uber secret only the best fighters knew of, because of how you get it). I liked MD when people were encouraged to try, and not as you are doing, ask how it works. In my view it made better fighters as they would know how to test things and try things since they had to do a lot more testing and playing around to see how to do something. But thats only my view. See what grido says, then people can discuss it. Really Mur should probably make a comment also.
  17. Why dont you two LHO's discuss this somewhere private, with grido, and come to some form of decision that can then be applied?
  18. I offically request the removal of the Wishpoint, i do not believe i have done anything in this quest worthy of attaining it. My actions in performing this quest was detrimental to MD and i do not want to have a WP for these actions.
  19. My policy has always been based on Grido's so again, ask grido. He is both a moderator and the LHO leader.
  20. Ask grido, he is your boss.
  21. She is making a comment that other lho"s have been lazy and that she after being demoted is still a very good lho, if not better than most of the current ones.
  22. Follow the procedure. Don't assume you are above it. Go talk to them directly.
  23. Have you followed the bug reporting rules as identified ingame? Have you talked to a LHO? Others?
  24. These questions are best asked to a LHO directly ingame to limit the amount of back and forth. The forums should be used in cases where the answer is not easily conveyed by a LHO or contentious answers.
