There seems to be some Misunderstanding of how the moderators are different from a normal forum user. So i shall Explain my viewpoint on this and hope that people also give their view on what i have said. Moderators unlike normal users have a few extra things they can do, Some of these are, but are not limited to, Closing/moveing/Deleting topics and editing posts. They also do their work for no reward, and have not been asked but have offered to help. Apart from this they have no other Special ability or power. Because they are just normal users, with one or two extra buttons. It means they are treated like normal users UNLESS they are using their Moderator Powers, and then they are treated as a moderator. Because of this, All (except one) moderators have agreed to not moderate a post that they feel strongly about, unless they have consulted another Mod/gotten another one to do it, Which means that they separate their Moderator powers with their normal user privileges. Like any other Member, you can complain about their rudeness or whatever else you think is against the T+C's of the forum and the forum rules. But please do not say "because they are a moderator i think that..." Because unless they are moderating a topic they are not a moderator. That argument has not validity since they have all the rights of a normal user. And thus if they are breaking the rules they will get the punishment's of a normal user. As usual, I am happy to hear people questioning whether things are right, Because that just tightens up the rules in that Members mind, But please dont start with questioning if they should be doing something "as a moderator" unless they have used their Moderator powers. Mur has made this one restriction on GGG because when he entered once he found a lot of alts. From what he said it seemed like he didnt like the fact there were a LOT of alts there and people were just farming wins of all of these alts. He said this was abuse, and its quite obvious why. I do not see the issue you have with what he has decided?

A little thing i didnt make clear Alts are allowed, They are allowed so you can experiance MD differently. They are even encouraged so you can try everything MD has to offer. A perfect example is Tarq and Keith. They are two totally different people. Alts are not allowed just to benifit a main or a group of people. This is why we have rules such as the one Mur imposed on GGG. The rules are perfectly fine unless you are trying to abuse the system, So i dont where there can be an issue. Unless you are trying to abuse the system ofc.

I agree with dst on this issue. Every now and then someone wants their name changed. its a very rare occurance and doesnt really warrent a WP item. If anyone wants to get their name changed they just mail Mur. Lexier is a perfect example. He didnt ask for a feature, He just asked Mur and he agreed. Why implement something when the current situation works perfectly well and Mur is kept informed of these changes.

A name is an Identifier. It is the one thing that is a constant that if anyone could change just by getting a WP it means that you can totally start again. For some people this is NOT good, There are people who have WP's and who shouldnt have a name change because they deserve their reputation and If they started again, trouble could occur again. Just run it like the current System, Mur will approve any changes and it means that anyone who changes their name to have a new "change" can be easily identified as the older player, but showing that they want a new change. Look at Lexier, he asked mur, and he seems to have changed. And Fenrir, you might as well just say, you want to be able to change your name.

Changing a name means a LOT, you could easily reforge a totally new character by changing your name. I think a name, like an avatar is very important. Like with Eigger, I think that name Changes should only be able to be done by Mur because of some serious reason. So my answer is no, A name is special, and being able to change it should only be done by Mur. For the most he will fix spelling mistakes with just a simple email, so i dont see that as a valid reason.

To Everyone, It seems we have forgotten the more recent legends of this world. Just because some didnt Roleplay, Does not mean they did not do good for MD. I may even go as far to say that some people who didnt roleplay did more for MD that a couple asterixes and words (yes i know im just asking for as much spam as possible on this anti RP sentence) But, today my focus is on this gross injustice, Jonn. It seems like no one but me is willing to speak up for him, It seems everyone has forgotten what he did. This is a sad day indeed because Jonn was much more than Just the LHO leader. Jonn sorted out any problems in the realm, if you needed advice or help you could go to him, and he would gladly help with a little bit of humor also. And being the first offical head of the LHO's he was in charge of sorting everything out and his legacy continues in Grido and those well organised helpers. I dont care if you dont think he isnt a legend, But if you can put someone like Ugauga up as a Great for being one of the first LHO's and bug researchers, Then surely Jonn should also be there for the organisation and first offical "rpc" type player. He was the main person you went to if there was a dispute of the rules or anything similar. It seems that these older players are automatically Canonized because of people not actually knowing them, whereas people you know fall by the wayside. Surely a legends book should be passed down so newer players do remember them? I hardly see new people speak of Wodin or BigC (not sure why you have two entries, being the same person) becaues they do not know about them, So if you judge that as a legendary status then really all but Khal should probably go. All in all i think the current methods of picking is rather bad, due to its nature, and some other way should be suggested such as doing this for each player you think should be in the book.

Also, did you ever talk to Jonn, he was such a enthusiastic character that i feel that he was a legendary player. And he did a GREAT Job running the LHO's for a long period of time along with the numerous other jobs that he did. I could name a lot of players who knew Jonn and would agree with me on this point.

Jonn was Legend, He is Nowhere near Notable, He did a lot for the game and i think he should be a Legend.

[/quote] No, just no. Lifesteal attacking Multiple and one means that you can choose to damage the masses, but not hit if you target one person. or one and know that you will always hit. Lifesteal All would have to be VERY weak or it would become VERY overpowered.
