    With all due respect, and I appologise for the courseness of this example, black people consider the N word bad not because they believe black people are bad, latinos consider the S word bad not because they believe latinos are bad, this is exactly the same sort of derogatory word for gay people. Its a word that used to be used to slag gay people off, and therefore is not considered decent or respectful language in polite society, let alone with someone who you hardly know. Quite aside from the fact that saying "You give homosexuals a bad name" automatically implies you have a prejudice, there is absolutely no need to mention somebody's sexual preference whatsoever in commenting about their personality just as there is no need to mention someone's skin colour. I couldn't care less if you like to slag your mates off calling them stupid names and they arn't offended, that isn't the situation here.

    It's a joke that this is even being discussed as potentially not being offensive. This isn't prime minister's question time, it isn't and now in the actor's studio, this isn't a topic about what is offensive and what isn't. Someone has had a homophobic remark placed on their PL and they are, quite rightly, not happy about it. If you don't have something constructive to say in order to resolve the situation then you are just exhaserbating an already unpleasant situation for the relevant person involved.

    Fen, you arn't wrong, nobody wants a really tedious serious forum, but once again you have failed to actually READ.

    Nobody said that "everyone's" posts are going to be reviewed before posting. It isn't about you or comments here and there, saying the odd funny thing etc, its about people who frequently and consistently spam topics and have been warned and still do it all the time. For those people, and those people only, a mod preview of their posts will be done. That's it. That's all. Its really not the socialist paradise you would like to paint.

    Anyway, I've tried to explain for you.

    Why is this topic suddenly all about Fenrir? It seems very simple. Mods are fed up with spam, Death Bell is an example of what will now be done with people who are blatantly spamming. Simple no? It was also stated that if you lose your tongue on this topic your posts here will also be counted as spam, which i think is kinda what you've done here Fenrir. Its pretty clean cut, just let the Mods do their job for once without the fight the system sign would you.

    I had a friend of mine go to inspect the mess as you can see. This is the beer can my friend brought back for me to look at, the woman on the front looks strangely like Peace doesn't she, in fact it could even be her. The star mark can also be found on a rock and there is a large jug in those lands, I cannot post the images for you im afraid but any who want them just ask.

    I have wondered why people have not been attending the pubs as often. I say peace has been brewing her own personal necrovion beer and having occult parties with little regard for littering offenses.

    Don't worry Watcher, I'll personally explain it for you.

    This isn't forum role play, this is a debate about a piece of IN GAME role play. The forum supports the game, not the other way around, if you can't see the difference, I will spell it out and point it out for you piece by piece but I thought the difference pretty obvious myself.

    Also, I am the moderator of this section of the forum, not Akasha, hence, I choose whether it stays open or not. However, might I add that on a personal level I agree with Akasha having closed that thread - and if there was a thread like that in my section I would also close it. If you want to debate the issue I suggest you start a new thread.

    A warrior does not just mean fisticuffs. So if its the name you are hung up on:- A warrior is someone who has experience or is in the midst or war, or it is someone who shows courage and vigor in the face of whatever they try to achieve. Add to that that they arn't the necrovion warriors or the shade warriors but the tainted warriors. Tainted meaning corrupted, infected, contaminated. So you could easily argue that they are a corrupt group of researchers who defile the archivists to wipe out all necriovion facts from the public eye...or...that they are a group of fighters that stand are the last or first line of defence...or...that they once were warriors but now are ridden with some kind of infection that means they still have that courageous spirit but are incapable of physical violence...or...a number of other interpretations.

    Of course what the queen chooses as her interpretation...well thats a whole other matter.
