1. Sage, you are withdrawing your support because I said Ailith smells like Poo? Seriously? She didn't have any problems with it, why you take offence to smelling like poo, I have no idea...
2. Little Susie goes home from school and tells her mum that the boys keep asking her to do cartwheels because she's very good at them ? Mum said : " YOU should say NO - they only want to look at your undies". Susie said: " I know they do that's why I hide them in my backpack"!! Post a joke! Make me laugh! Winner gets a silver coin!

Dilemma

Give a man a fish and he is full for a day, give a man a net and teach him how to fish, he is full for a life time or what ever the quote is. I believe that just giving hand outs is not proper. If they can't survive without it, then they do not belong here in MD.
4.
Oh dude, just take something extremely controversial/taboo, which is bound to offend someone, making him or her flame the topic with posts. Nah it's better to see how long it lasts, better test. Cuz you know, topics can go offtopic quite often.
Yah, true, but then you wouldn't count those posts, right?
5. Haha. I think the most ammount of posts will be a better judge of captivating questions. The responses would need to be real responses and not single sentence responses with no point.
6.
Fenrir Greycloth (ID:86191) Is the human race essentially good, or evil? What makes us good, or evil? What is Good? What is evil? How did we come to a conclusion that these are a way of behaving? Mur: only a third observer can observe the line of good or evil and understand the situation, not someone "inside" the issue bad/good. In humanity situation, i believe the observer is the world around us, what supports life and what brought us in the first place to existance. Considering that our impact on the nature around us, the earth and the rest of the life on earth is not at all good, i consider humanity overall can be considered BAD. We are the only animal to kill for pleasure, thats a luxury that no living beeing affords. We can, but chose not to do things to keep the ballance , we can but chose to be evil, or good, but over all i think the results of humanity over the nature, and i do not talk of ecosystem only, is i essance bad. animals are not good or evil, they are neutral, they do not chose to be evil, they do not chose to be good. We are tehnicaly capable to do better yet we dont, and its not about survival also. thats my personal opinion, and i wait for arguments against, if you think i am wrong. Selected for public debate, but not for round 2 because of the popularity of the question.
Your thoughts please.
7. That is a good point dst, but it does not hold true to other situations where people know they are have a possibility to die. For instance, the Cold War. The conception rate was at an all time low, and that was a REAL threat.
8. My thoughts on the Bible is that it is a book to learn deeper meanings from, not to take literally. (I am not religious in any way) It is not something that can be analyzed to the period because it was not written to be analyzed.
9. During the Great Depression, men were the working force and once they were laid off, they had nothing else to do but their wives. Contraceptives were not as abundant then so the children were mass produced. It is same reason why more children are born in the summer/early fall. The parents are bored during the winter.
10. Sorry for dp. But props to Mur for his reply to DST's question.
11. So, what happens now? Do we try to find an answer to these questions by talking about them?
12. I believe she is trying to start an RP thread?
13. Well, how about we research a way to restrict the use of proxies? I am sure there is a way to do so. The only suggestion that MAY work, is to increase the price of avatars so that they are not so easily obtainable. It is sad that we must find ways to prevent people from being selfish.
14. I like the renewal of the avatars. I had no idea that there were 400 avatars. I was aware of maybe 30ish. A halfway decent solution is a time limit on purchasing/selling avatars. So if you purchase an avatar you have to keep it for a month. And to prevent Traders from using their alts to buy up all the avatars, put a limit on how many avatars you can purchase on a single IP for a set time limit. Perhaps two a month?
15. Since when are people leaving because of Mur? Normally it is because of people causing drama..
16. The Time Traveler's Wife (To save on spam) Love this book - Grido
17. A lecture depends on who the lecturer is. I had a proff who got angry if someone didn't comment on every single point he made. I REALLY enjoyed that class.
18. For frack's sake! Stop with your constant bickering! It does nothing but cause unneeded strife! Can't you see that bickering with each other does nothing but cause more bickering? You both are unwilling to drop it and let it be, because why? Is MD getting to boring to entertain you now? You need each other's despair and misery to fuel your daily necessities? Honestly girls. PLEASE. Drop it. You both are starting to go out of your way to annoy and frustrate the other.
19. Gahaha. Mur, I am getting you a fluffy white kitty and a giant solid oak desk for you to sit behind. That ergonomic chair though? You will have to get that yourself... they are expensive.
20. I was once a huge harry potter fan, and to avoid the whole character identity thingy, I changed a bit of the last name.
21.
Err...there is a small issue with the poll. Even if you want to choose "No" for the first question you are obliged to choose also one of the topics for the second one. So please add an option with "No principles/I am not intereste/etc". Yeah...from time to time my bug researcher's skills kick in
Why don't you want to have a lecture?
