Remove tokens is a most complexed thing to do. People have already spending a decent amount of their money to get them. If you remove them then you will somehow need to either return the credits spend on them (which is not such a good idea considering that most have tokened creatures which they did not spend one penny on them)or give something else in return. Balanacing tokens is a more reasonable request and solutions can be found such as the principle limit which it is indeed something. Removing the loss cap, I still dot think is a good idea though since as Udgard said there is this matter or honor which was the reason why this limit was implamented, right? Kill the Skill damage? Yes, that indeed might bring more players back into online activity and what (again) Udgard said to not count stats or wins because of the cap sounds good to me. It was also there for a reason but if you can change it slightly for the better of MD do it. I am one of those who miss the old days when Willow's Shop was crowded by fighters, stat farmers or not. Many things could one do there, from training to learning and even (although some discourage it) roleplaying. Not to mention that in most places you would go you would see people online and also train as well. But in order to get that back, we do not just need to get skill damage gone (you can actually regain the wins if you want to, even now) but we could also use more people to get in the MD community, fighters or not.

Even better Akasha, thank you very much. And Liberty, I will disagree with you. The Archivists is an alliance/guild with purpose and I find many reasons to have them back on track. We do need people who wish to dedicate their time into documenting MD facts. And there are plenty and useful ones that should be recorded and showed to the public. If you want somethings to return back on the spotlight like inner magic and principles, instead of whining that they are not in the interest of people why don't you try and change that? Why don't you do something to get people's interest back? And the Archivists will be motivated to write something about it as well. And not just that. We also have the calendar, someone does need to finish with it. Who is better than this than an Archivist to continue the unfinished work? That will give them something to work and write upon. Whoever gets in charge of the Archivists is not my main concern here, but instead what will that person do to have this alliance functioning properly based on what their name inquires.

I agree with Akasha on this. There are people who try or do outstanding work within MD, that still carries on. Let's face it, dojo is dead (replaced by the Sparring Grounds with new rules, members, advisors etc) and the Univercity has been quite for many many months. This is not a personal attack to Calyx, I enjoyed the character in and out of MD, but that does not confuse my judgement on these matters. Calyx did something in MD while she was here and got rewarded for it. Dedicate it to her is just too much for me. Of all people, I think it is Mur who has done something worth dedicated to him otherwise we wouldn't even be here discussing about MD Awards, for without him there would not be any MD thus no awards. Just my two cents here. Give the award to any the people deem worthy of having but at least do dedicate it to someone who has done some really hard work on this subject. Not just one year, but four so far and perhaps a little more.

A rather inrelevant question to this topic but I feel it is a good way to get an answer. Who is in charge right now for the MD Archives site? I was looking at it today and ever since Awiiya left the Archivists I see no new entries in there, nor I can find someone to ask if I need permission to post something or not. Do not get my question as an attack, I am merely asking for someone to point me to the right direction to have some things I have in mind done.

I would like all and mostly the vets to remember how rare it was for a wind drachorn to be obtained. And still is. The same goes with the Golemus drachorn. Considering the fact that there are like 10(?) wind drachorns given in the game either cause of a quest, or reward from a contest. I am into trying to find any ways to get something, but having things handed to you in a silver platter is not my way. And some things should be made hard to get, regardless power in my opinion. It is what they represent that makes it have a higher price. Braiton is rarely on, RJ is no longer the Drachron Master. How are suppose to get these creatures then? Only by waiting when it is the next contest and get it (if lucky or -as it works lately- by having the fastest connection, giving you the ability to write your answers without lagging) by winning one of them? Just my opinion, that is.

No matter how beautiful and wonderful my vacations to Romania were, the fact is that as soon as I returned home my world around me collapsed. Many things happened and not for the best. You do understand that there are off-topic threads for that reason right? For people to go off-topic on a subjest and also spam as much as they want to, because this is the purpose of them. When someone is trying to have a serious conversation about serious game-related situations and once just drops in to leave a comment in one sentence that has no value at all and interupts the conversation then That I mark it as spamming. Look at threads like the War topics, or alliance matters topics such as the Caretakers issue which is more recent. I have seen posts in there with no real purpose, with no serious arguments and yes those I consider them as spam. I give my full support to all Moderators and Admins of this forum because they are trying to have a clean forum which makes sence when reading the topics and people (who I will not mentioon their names, for they know who they are) just come in, leave a comment just to say something inrelavent or without value or just get one more counted topic. As far as I am concerned, all my posts have a purpose in each thread I put them. I am staying in character even in the forums, maybe I am one of the few who do it, but this is who I am. I know when to speak off-topic somewhere and when I need to speak in character. This is also why we have seperated threads, don't we. I only wish more people would do it. P.S.: I do miss the old forum, the one I was reading a year ago. People would stay on topic, making reading and understanding easier. P.S.2: End of ranting... for now.
