1. Handy Pockets, we (I at this moment) would love to have you. I'll leave it to you to figure out the location for your farm area and attempt to get permission from the owner to farm the land there.
2.
Well played Peace How a ghost should be able to do such hing is dont know But as you have been told no i will not take this lying down. I am for one not a coward and i will not run. The fact that there is now a centinal trying to take a land allaince IS an attack on Golemus the land. By this i would Hope the MR's will step. I will admit i am supprised and i fear it might be time to bring some weapons to to forfront and start destrying the land that decided to cause this damage. I will also hunt down the spy and i will Kill them out right Also Peace for do this i will also Kill you and trust me i have the meens to do so i just choose to hold it close I also think it time to cause your father a lot of pain remember who holds his sole. You now will feel the wrait of the King of Golemus for trying this and for trying to bring war to the lands in the first place.
Ummm... Just thought I'd bring everyone back to the place where Yrthillian mentioned Khalazdad's soul. Apperantly I missed it, but I think it's reasonable since he didn't bother to write itl. The whole give me back my alliance now, this is your last chance before I burn your fathers soul, mostly destroying him and making him my slave is no where in this post. I will cause him pain, that's what I see. Rather different than destroying it, which is what he threatened/planned to do right after the war. More to the point, there was no claim that he would NOT do so if the alliance was returned. He does not in fact mention returning his alliance anywhere here. This post LOOKS like a person promising revenge, not warning someone and giving them a way to avoid retribution. Oddly enough, demanding your alliance back from a person who isn't around to hear the demand sounds rather similar... So no, what Yrthillian did clearly had NOTHING to do with getting his alliance back. If he had wanted it, he would have made a time frame for his demand in which it would be POSSIBLE for his demands to be met. And, on top of that, would have taken a second hostage.
3. Umm, perhaps Mur needs to clarify his clarification. First off, Yrthillian's burning of the cube quite clearly had nothing to do with trying to get his alliance back. Nextly, I do believe that summoned army did attack a Sentinel... Certainly it did attack the only two people to have threatened Yrthillian.
4. It wasn't won by me? Fine, that's true. I killed Jtz though, and I killed MB. (Well, ok, that was accidental.) Perhaps Jtz lost a fair amount of health earlier, but I will add that he did attack me, and I did win. If you would like to include me on how it is you think that someone else was somehow involved, let me know. I am quite curious to see who helped me out with that, and how it is that Jtz would have otherwise beaten me.
5. Is there are reason you are impersonating Gaara? Anywho, moving on. I would agree that Grido shouldn't get special favors, on the other had, it's not like Mur would have to help everyone who accidently saced the wrong critter. Everyone who accidently saced a critter that costs over 20$ to get, sure (please don't post correcting me and saying, no, soulweavers are this deep, I am attempting to avoid spoilers, though I don't know myself how deep they are.)
6. Though you were all dead at the time, making it a rather pointless act.
7. But it's hard to remove an inflamed apendex with a sawed off shotgun, unless of course you don't mind doing more damage than you're attempting to avoi

8.
I watched the battle on the forum (time did not allow me to be on the battle field) and I was kind of disappointed. What started as an awesome thing (with Jester acting like a mad man and declaring war even if he had no reasons then Peace taking over the GG) ended up in a battle where the rich won (roughly said indeed but this is the truth). The ones that had the better tokens and the most dragons won. There was not a single drop of strategy or planning or anything like that. If this is the new measure of strength in MD...then I pity the combat system. Anyway, I will not rant about it since I know that I will not change anything (all I will do is convince myself to buy the crits and tokens I miss - and if I do that...well...things might get ugly...).
Umm... I don't know about Pamplemousse (who defeated Cless and Liberty), but I (who defeated MB and Jtz...) have not spent a dime on MB, I don't know anyone who would consider me rich. I have one Drach, it is a GG, it was not used. I had two tokens in the ritual I used. (Yeah, beating MB was probably lucky, but I beta Jtz fair and sqaure.) And a little planning was done, what I did to create the ritual I used took a fair bit of thought...
9. Ok, got it this time. And that incoming I won against Jtz was 97% to 100%. >.<
10.
I completely disagree. For instance in world war 2 what happened when the Nazis invaded Russia? They had to beat them out of their own land then all the way back to Germany. Its not a favorable position to be in but having your home country invaded is never a favorable thing and should not be repeled easily.
Ummm... So, you're saying the Nazis sent ALL their men into Russia? And then while in Russia ALL their men died, including their entire governing body? Clearly not a comparable situation.
11. If their was a system of mechanics to play off of it would be easier, but as it is there is not and there is already too much to watch. Because of that it has to be all in one place at one time. Because of THAT spells can't reasonably be allowed since they can be cast from distances. Anyone casting a spell not part of one of the alliances in a real war would be considered as taking sides, and ought to be able to be killed. However, since they are "neutral" and not required to be at that location, and everyone else has to be, there is no way to hunt them down and kill them as would be reasonable in a real war. Having untouchable people casting spells on your team to help them does seem a little inappropriate.
12. Happy birthday. May the glitches flag themselves before your eyes.
13. On the other hand when the opponent throws all their troops, an entire alliance, into your land, it doesn't make sense that you should have to fight them again on their own turf after you already have all their troops battered and bruised, utterly beaten in yours. Including their leader. I see no reason why the Sentinels should have to win twice.
14. Why did I buy spells if I can never use them for anything worthwhile?
15. You can't set precedence with one event... Or two... And considering the fact that Jester is very clearly NOT going to step down here there's an even greater lack of precedence.
16. I would clearly make a better God-King-Emperor-Guy. Why? Because I am at least already a Guy. There. Flawless logic, in your face and whatnot.
17. It's really not that evolved for a chat client. Though I suppose it has pretty pictures and an interesting method of changing chat rooms, though if people are all staying in mostly the same sanctuary, you don't see much of that coming into play.
18. How many of those sentinels are active? And how many have been sentinels for a long time?
19. Fenrir, so far I have seen two people with an alliance badge among the sentinels, Jester, and Assira, everyone else seems to have already left. So who is it they are attempting to get to resign? Certainly holding Marvolo won't cause Jester any worries.
20. Wow. Just wow. Here I figured that Marvolo might be one of the most avid contestors to Jester's rule. There were a lot of people from that land that were upset when he made his deceleration, but if you're just gonna hunt them all down and threaten them, they may as well join Jester. Of course, if that's not the case, then you killing them off certainly isn't bad for him.
21. Ok, name is awful, or whatever. I'm not good with names. Anywho, if you have been keeping up with the Caretakers Thread in the forums, you will know that I applied for leadership of the alliance. Regardless of whether the alliance is given to me, I will be creating this as a group, which, for now, and perhaps forever is NOT an official alliance. If that bothers you, I don't want you involved anyway. I am entirely ok with changing the name at some point. Naming is not my area of expertise. Anywho, this group will be working on a few different things. Namely they will be working for the greater good of ALL the people of MD. The group is now accepting applications for jobs. Below I will include a summary of the purpose of the group and you can see if you are interested. If you are post ON THE FORUMS if you are interested in a position. No private applications will be accepted. If you apply, please reply with why you feel that you are appropriately objective for the job, and what you can do to help others. Everything the homeless do is for the care of the people of MD, be that research, defense of the innocent (we'll get to that later), or simply taking care of messes once we have failed to protect them. (Crime scene investigation, care of the dead.) This alliance would ideally get itself involved in the politics of the other lands, doing it's best to prevent war. Should a war break out they may choose a side, in order to protect an innocent people. (I understand that Mur stated the four lands could be involved in wars, the Tribunal is not one of them.) Because of this, if a strong enough group of warriors were collected it would dissuade unreasonable wars and require the public announcement of cause for wars (I realize that I myself am not that strong). (Without reason a war would go under unreasonable and the care takers would step in on the other side.) On top of this we will be providing shelter and food free of charge (if we find that there are those in need of such things and there are not currently adequate facilities for such.) We will also be providing medical treatment to those who need it and attempt to research into areas that will practically be applied to bettering people's lives. In a not so RP oriented side, the group will also be creating quests. (Ones that are heavily RP oriented) So, examples for people needed for the group. Farmer/Gardener/Rancher (something to provide food in mass quantities) Warriors (sometimes in order to protect people, you need to hurt some people) Scientists (for the research) Doctors/healers Architects/Carpenters (for building necessary facilities) PR person (Cause I suck at it, and it's important.) And anything else that might be helpful to people. Your applications will be reviewed and voted on by everyone in the group (currently just me). Applications are made public due to the necessary nature of the alliance and their relations with the public. Edit: I am open to name suggestions even for those of you who are not interested in applying.
22. Oh darn, not that. Wouldn't want you to have to ask someone for 1/10th of a burst to upgrade a bird. Anywho, I am getting sick and tired of people talking about there being a way to do ANYTHING in MD. No, no there is NOT a way to do anything. It's very flexible, there are a lot of things you can do, but new players CAN NOT, even with all the knowledge in the world, keep a vetran from turning their face into porridge. Even if we were to assume that is the case, they are new players, they should not be expected to be as knowledgeable about battles as DST and Burns or Shadowseeker, just so they don't end up with major losses. That being said, I don't think new players are having difficulties into the thousands are they? I don't think I've seen anyone who is in the stat damage area who didn't want to be there before stat damage was implemented. We could attempt to give incentive for vets to not get losses, or, we could just get rid of the problem of having too many losses. Just get rid of balance and honor, or just get rid of balance. You could remove stat damage, at the same time go ahead and remove the bonus exp from high honor. Then there is no reason to not be balanced, players would/should work toward that, but losses aren't a big deal.
23. What about Thread Necromancy? Wow, I remember reading this when I first joined and having had a thought. How about the principal of force? Force would of course be highly connected to the principal of transposition in some ways, but physical force wouldn't need to be the only one considered. A force is anything that pushes something to change in some way, a force could be a form of seduction attempting to get someone to do something for you or could be misinformation to get a person to go in the wrong direction (these are not the droids you are looking for . Of course one might also be able to use it to throw an ewok across the room. I suppose with that could go the principal of inertia. The ability to resist outside forces/influences toward change. Or the principal of friction/resistance. The idea of something always resisting your motion regardless of what you do, always working opposite other forces. What brings an object to rest. A stubborn person might be said to have a high coefficient of static friction. Or we could just call them stubborn.
24. Fighting a war in a game with the intention of actually hurting people behind the game is incredibly childish. If that is the only way in a game to have any meaningful effect on a CHARACTER, then the game is seriously broken and needs to change.
