Why so many complainers? In real life if you don't wait around to be given something or you don't even show up you are not automatically given the item. I was there at GoE and had to wait my turn like all the others and had to ask confused santa for a gift. It was not bestowed upon me just for my presence. Children who want a present from Santa write a letter or go see him in person to let Santa know they want a present and have been good and deserve to have one given to them. Thank you again Confused Santa for my Murmas present, I thought everything about the event went fine.

In regards to the introduction: I assumed anybody who's been even glancing at the mood panel lately knows my opinion before reading this, and would take it with a grain of salt, so to speak. As for the discussions, I merely intended to keep this thread free of arguments about whether or not Grido was right or wrong in the Phantom or dst case, because while they are relevant to the topic, they invite flame wars, derailments and general unhappiness that you can go to their respective threads to receive. So no, I was not trying to say "NO TALKING", because there clearly was talking, and plenty of it, most of which seems to be constructive to me. Besides, regardless of what I say, you're free to post whatever you'd like, as you know.

Thank you to everybody who voted (or thought about voting, but perhaps didn't get in before now), even if your vote was Null. To me, 72 people is a huge number in MD, in a 24 hour time period, and I appreciate every individual, as well as the majority opinion. I will not seek action against Grido, nor will I endorse such action, and if he does make an attempt at changing my opinion, I will gladly do so if I believe his attempt is an honest one.

I would like to apologize to SilverBlades and any such individuals that may share his extreme view on this issue or the game in general: I can tell you that a single change would most likely not affect your opinion, so: sorry if I got your hopes up.

Seig, The objective nature of the rule means that it would take a few people to discuss the intricacies of it, and the effects of her actions. In other words, it's not for me to judge on the harassment front there was a punishment for that announced though. My private punishment is completely separate from this and was for the use of the chat ban item.

Bugs and exploits would fall into this category. I would expect them to be aware of such, so I tend not to ask them.

You seem to misunderstand me. You asked for an official reference, I gave you one. LHOs are meant to realise what bugs and exploits are, and not to sell them.

And now you ignore my inclusion of LHOs in the people I'd listen to about stepping down - I'd personally say they have less power than me, but because of my role in relation to them, if they think I've been acting wrongly I would listen to them.

Trying to pretend that you're ignorant is not an excuse. He has been in the game for over a year and should easily know that using alts in that manner would be alt abuse. I've only been here for 6 months and am able to know that you don't use alts to benefit the main account. I don't think it matters how beneficial someone else thinks the items that he spent his WP's on are. That isn't the issue. It should be obvious to anyone that he obtained items on his main account that he was not able to do without the use of his alts. If you have enough intelligence to come up with the idea of solving a puzzle to earn a WP on multiple alts and to have each alt use the WP to create an item you want your main account to have, then you would have enough intelligence to know that what you are planning to do is wrong.

I am still not able to understand why there is all this opposition to the GGG. I used it as MP4 and I don't have insane stats the biggest boost I got was from the HC. The GGG isn't the cause of lack of people or activity in MD and getting rid of it won't change that. If a person chooses to idle at GGG or at a sanctuary it's because they aren't wanting to be attacked. If people constantly hide at a sanctuary I don't see how that can help the game or other players of the game. GGG provides a place for people to train and unless you like having people you can squash without a fight I don't see why that should be a problem. In real life in boxing or other similar competitions like ultimate combat fighting they train before fights. A new person without any experience is going to train for a long time before going up against someone with years of experience. It would also be very inappropriate if at one of these training facilities if the fighters with years of experience came in and started attacking their future competition. One of the things I have liked about this game so far is how different and unique it is. It offers a variety of ways to play and doesn't make people conform to only a certain idea or a single way of playing. But that is what I see with this. A few people are upset because other people aren't playing the game the way they think it should be played and are now trying to dictate how and where we should be allowed to enjoy the game.
