for those of you who dont know, name of location was put by mur during exploration of east (opening event for tribunal and unwritten part of al), and he put it as double meaning(due to my name) for sake of

moreover change of name cant be justified since at that place nothin related to "everlasting stench" roleplay ever occured (if it did, if somebody actually actively practicized role based on ... idk breeding farting grasans at that location, then it might have been justified name change, but since nothin of similar nature ever happened the only reason for name change was to obviously insult)

i sent email to council last week, i would open topic about this myself by end of this week if council wouldnt act, till now still no reply from them

So, as for quite some time now the location 7_plains_1 has had the subtitle changed from Plainf of Liberty to Plains of Everlasting Stench.

Does anyone know WHY? Was there any RP or anything that would ask for such a nasty change?

Also, is this legal? In my opinion is not, because it breaks the rules set in the Wish Description:

Allows you to change a subtitle on a given location. The new title will remain forever untill someone else changes it and for at least 4 days. With this you can mark locations to support your role, such as pubs, markets, themed gathering places, mark historic locations to remember an important event for all future players, organise group activities, support role play situations, etc. You are not allow to write playernames in this subtitle. Abusing this by writing ofences, advertising or similar will be penalised.

Just had a thought, if you get the santa now, and it continues to be upgraded at its current rate, there is no way you can possibly ever max it, since you will never be able to get enough age, Each time you get a years worth of age it will need another years to max again.

Therefore i would suggest that this creature be exempt from the achievement.

First I must say I sadly have not yet had the luck to experience a dream in MD and therefore do not know the exact details of how a dream works, but wouldn't it be possible, in case things get too private to even let Dst catch a glimps of it, to have the dream in the Sunny Bedroom? No one should be able to see what happens there, and it does make sense that the more secretive you want it to be the more work you will have to do for it.

I think our understanding of private is too different for me to give you advices

To me, private means that the public doesn't interfere, not that it's utterly impossible for anybody to interfere.
for example, if you have a chat at GoE, i can come and join, that's public. If you chat in a private message, i can't, thus it's private. I still have options to find the contents of said PM, for example by bribing one of the persons involved, but it's impossible for me to join into the conversation.

That's how i see the term private, but this is apparently not what you have in mind when talking about private.

I do agree that the dream should be a place where the dreamer is alone with the weaver, without outside influences, but i do not see the dream as a place cut off from the rest of the game.
If that is the privacy you wish for, you'd need a different scale of dream, in my opinion. the current dream just doesn't fit with this, at least in my opinion.

and as i said before, you have the best chance of any player to reach a higher level of dreaming. if you can't figure it, i surely won't be able to (and i'm actually too busy to try hard, too)

When I created my role and earned the dream weaving ability from Mur, he made it pretty damn clear that dreams are private places (not _truly_ private of course, but private as in MD realm player experience-wise). And for good reason, what one says and experiences in a dream is vulnerable because of how primal, utterly visceral, and emotionally raw the content often is . Now, many of you have wondered about my absence for the past few months - here's one of the reasons why.

Dreams are not private in MD.

Anyone with a high level earfocus spell/stone can effectively recall everything that was said in a dream. Now, I thought only so-called admin roles had this spell, but there are 'regular' players who have it as well. There are people spying on dreams, not occasionally, but almost every time a dream happens in MD. Why? Because they can...

This feels like a huge betrayal (one among a couple) which I have brought to the council. They refuse to do anything about it, or even work with me on it to figure something out.

Now, I'm only interested in being a presence in this realm if players want me there as a dream weaver.

Many of my old roleplaying buddies have already fled MD since the CoE was disbanded by Council, so I want to get any idea if there are other folks who find interest in learning more about night-time dreams in MD.

I hate bringing this to the forum, because I know this kind of thing isn't what MD needs, but, for my sake, I want to gauge how much interest there is and also hear any ideas about how to work on this issue.

The Altcheck has been performed and as usual there are people who have felt it is fine to abuse the system.

You are not allowed multiple forum accounts, if someone is marked as your alt you better have a very good reason. I have written a script which can be applied to any polls so that i can detect alts much faster than i previously could, Feel free to contact me to ask me to perform any altchecks on polls.

I don't expect this needs saying, but it is not allowed to use multiple different accounts to vote multiple times, therefore an alt check will be performed on the votes.

If you did use alts you're better off contacting me about it before the check is finished.

I thought my "work of art" was a good way to express how silly people can be without the need to use harsh words. This is a healthier way to show someone that she may have been a wonderful TK leader one that I never have said anything bad about. However she constantly talks as if she knows we are just lazy pieces of crap that have no right to stand in her overpowering and presence. I have never been rude to Curi but she has always been rude towards me, this was the first time I have replied in such a manner. Who in the world would want to play a game with people that consistently talk crap for no apparent reason other than to make themselves feel better, and then see them constantly get away with speaking to others that way? Nice people and nice replies don't work with mean people...They do work with most of us who actually are nice and respectful of others, but to lay down and take verbal attack for nothing over and over again is retarded.

These thought have been brewing in my head for some time now and i have been trying to think if i should even make this post or not but lucky you i have decided to make this topic and tell you all what i think. If you don't want to read it then fine don't read it but i think this will benefit everyone if they read it so please at least think about it.

The way this community acts some times is just jaw dropping i can't believe how negative. degrading, hurtful, and down right rude how some of the people here can be. The way i see some people talking to it is sickening, you act as if they are suppose to automatically be the best at everything here, you dissect every word someone says to just beat them down lower and lower. [b]Not everyone does this but i think a good majority do.[/b]On the forums i have seen this time and time again people being so condescending and rude, offering no help to a person what so ever, they just criticize that person. Instead of trying to tear them down why not try to build them up t be be better? constructive criticism . Like i said not everyone does this but in a lot of topics its there.

There's many words that you can choose from, why be negative? what is the point? And if someone post something negative don't say something negative right back, a negative plus more negative give you more negativity, counter it with a positive post. I'm not saying be all smiley and what not but choose your words carefully, and if that person continues to be negative ignore them.

I see a lot of people won't be able to do this for various reasons, their egos, they can't swallow their pride, they thing they are better then the other person, they can never be wrong, they think they know everything etc... please just check yourself and rethink what your about to post: Is it helpful? is it constructive? Am i being rude? Am i being hurtful?

Not everyone in this community is like that but enough are that this community destroys its own members and once all the members are pushed away what then?

If you keep destroying things your going to be left with nothing.
