1. I checked Firefox, Chrome and Safari, the balance line was there, so it must be a problem on your end.
Did you do the usual data clearing routine?

Edit: What version of Firefox are you using?

  2. I believe you refer to this announcement, dragonrider.

    More sponsored artworks
Neno Veliki will also do tool item artworks for any item with the "tool" tag. this is _sponsored_ so they will cost nothing on your side, no artwork cost and no upload cost. Neno Veliki will upload the art and transfer the tool back (without using it). Same artwork can be used for all tools of same sort (for example an axe, he wont make unique axe artworks for each axe but one for all with same name).

I don't think any of Seigh's items are tools, public or otherwise, so Neno is under no obligation to do the artwork. If you want to take a crack at it, I'm sure Seigh would appreciate it.

  3.
…now i am sorry i didnt asked santa for these pics, with author name on them, emailed in a nice packing :) ...
Well Mur, it's not exactly emailed—I ran out of email wrapping paper—but how about this? Merry Christmas, Mur! ^_^

(This is what happens when you give an insomniac some motivation and photoshop. ;)
I had to use StoreNow because the forum was having problems uploading the image. If you were to print that, it would be 2 feet wide and 3 feet long.)

[P.S. If anyone feels as if I misrepresented their image, tell me and I'll try and correct it.]

  4. The priests from the Way of Cleansing finally left Necrovion to celebrate Christmas at Wind's Game! Sadly, they had only just set up the party, even going through the trouble of dragging a table from Golemus all the way there, when a blizzard started up.

Poor priests, no party for them. :(

[Note: This is what Christmas looks like where I live. All of the snow was created in Photoshop, the tree is our very own special MD Christmas tree, and the rest comes from teh internetz. I also extended the scene to give myself more room to work with.]

Songs will be picked randomly from more genres but it will mainly depend on 2-3 different Polls to see what people preffer ^^
Why not let people add a song of their choosing to a cue? To avoid one person flooding the cue with songs of only their choice, you could put a time limit on it. I.e., you can only cue two songs per day. If there's nothing in the cue then it could fall back on random, but I'd prefer random to not be the default.

Or, have a team of DJs with very varied musical tastes and have one "on deck" who is in charge of the station for a couple of hours.

    Anything but random :P

…Um.. get peoples ears unplugged from they're regular music they're bored of…
It's possible to get bored of your music? O.o

Edit: Would this be Realm-wide, or vary from scene to scene?

I don't know if anyone else is able to, but I am able to walk though No Mans, LR and MB with 0 AP. As much as I want. So I decided to see if this would work with torches also, and it does. I was able to walk from MB torch base to the LR torch base in less than 4 minutes.
I don't know whether viscosity is a reason for this, but when I have tried walking around with no AP on a few alts, I was unable to move?

Because one can move with 0 AP, MB, LR, etc can easily be reached in no time, where previously one had to tediously wait for regens.
Moving with 0 ap in scenes with negative viscosity has been a "feature" since it was introduced. As SS said, it's perfectly normal.

That Established Housings now has a torch base is interesting, but basically cuts off the way into GG totally. Either by Laby (forget it since visc means you take forever), or Path of Loneliness, which means you automatically score there, or cannot go past it. This also means Golemian people cannot really effectively score aside from there.
Ditto if you're coming out of GG or Necrovion, except that there's next to no one populating the southern half of the map because nobody can get past the Path of Loneliness. Meaning that you can never attack anyone to earn a point to score anywhere and you're trapped. Sigh.

One suggestion is to make Candy a "shared resource" in a sense, in that it "returns to the box" after a period of time. Perhaps one month, unless Used prior?
I think there are/were plans for resource and tier 2 item decay (doesn't tea say something about being drank within a week?), but obviously they haven't been implemented yet.

For some resources, like candy and lumber, decaying doesn't seem to make much logical sense. Candy doesn't really ever go bad and lumber just ages. (Maybe that should be a thing, aged lumber? :P)

For other resources, like flowers and water, decay does make sense. Flowers wilt, still water gets infected, tea becomes disgusting, etc.

…Do you think candy hording to increase pricing is abuse, or good businessman-ship?…
Unfortunately, the answer to both of those questions is yes. In a capitalist market, controlling all of the resources is the best way to increase profit and MD has no checks against monopolies or oligopolies, unfortunately. So it turns into a waiting game of, "Do I reaaally want that resource?" while consumers attempt to wait out the producers.
…So what do those with Elus, who have problems affording 20 or 30 silver a month to keep candy for their elus. Or do you feel that is the problem of the person with the Elu, and that it is of no personal concern?…
My price comes out to roughly 10 silver a month if you want an Elu producing paper as fast as possible. If you just want a happy Elu, then you only need to feed it 3 candy. Once it's happy, it's happy. Additionally, there are no downsides to owning an unhappy Elu as of right now. That may change soon though. I consume 5 pieces of candy every day in hopes that it would combat the cap a little bit, and it looks like maybe it did, but it's obviously not enough because it just allows other candy horders to horde. So maybe I'll stop that. I don't know.

Resource management is frustrating, no? "Use the needle" doesn't really seem to cut it here.
…but is quickly reaching where those with Elu's can not find candy unless paying unreasonable prices for it…
I'd be interested to know who you're buying from, if you'd be okay with giving up some names.

  10. I assumed that once this discussion was started that the announcement in the MD Shop regarding Morphs became moot.
Heaven forbid that anything is ever changed to contradict any past announcement! ;)

In the first place, I think that announcement means more along the lines of, "Morphs are not hidden somewhere in the Shop, so don't bother looking for them" rather than, "Morphs are not and will never be for sale."

    I could be mistaken though.

A scene that could be called the TK's HQ would be excellent. Not entirely sure where it would be though. If it were in the Lands, a summon spell WOULD be needed because of the high AP.
Or the Gazebo could be fixed and there could just be a dedicated teleportation code. Or is the Gazebo permanently shut off? I never heard what happened to it. If they must have an office somewhere, why not just give them a "one way scene" somewhere that can only be reached through the Gazebo and automatically links back to the GoE when you want to leave?

Echoing those before me though, I don't really feel that there is a need for an office or the summon/chase spells. It's pretty easy to get in contact with any of the "trainees" and there are already so many ways to transfer things…

  12. Clarification.

Update: For orders greater than 50*, a bonus 3% of the quantity price will be added.
(for example if you order 79 branches, that will be 7 SC + [3%] 2SC = 9 SC)
Do you mean, "for orders greater than 50, 3% of the quantity will be added to the base price?"
I at first thought that you meant 3% of the base cost would be added, but that's minuscule number :P (You could say that 30% of the base cost will be added though, since the base cost is 10% of the quantity! :)))
