Quest name : Daily item quest How to start the quest : "poke" one of the flat stones around Gazebo of Equilibrium Quest Description : Somewhere around the realm, an item code will be posted in a scene chat. The item will be consumable of some type, and will belong to the first person who claims the code. On the flat stone near Gazebo of Equilibrium, a hint will be provided for that days scene. The hint is general, and only shrinks the number of scenes one has to look through. (for example North, forest, books, ...) Notes : There may be days when I am not able to put any item around, you can see on the stone the last day an item has been put I am not doing this in a set time, sometimes I will update the stone and provide item during mornings, sometimes evenings Once you claim the code, please write in the scene so other people do not waste their time For any troubles or questions, post in this thread or pm me

10 gold as a set sum is too high for some people, and too low for others. I would recommend basing it on active days. This way veterans who should know better pay more and new players who are learning pay less. 1 gold for people under 100 days 5 gold for people under 1000 days 10 gold for players older than 1000 days ? seems like a word is missing here I see that you could choose not to buy stuff, but if they keep being highest bidder on your items, this could get complicated Should using a rain spell or two also remove a mark?

Just to refresh some memories, the golden harvesting rule is 2/3, meaning you should not harvest if there is 66% remaining resources in a scene. The reason is that the 1/3 is regenerable in a day, so the next day the resource will be full again. Should a resource be fully depleted, it can take a week+- to be back to full. If anyone remembers the whole number list, please post it, I am just going by memory. I remember there is also something at 50%?

"Don't just feed it junk" - I definitely agree, adding a wrong item may actually worsen the result. I think of it as trying to make an item of certain quality, and then you just throw mud into it so it becomes larger, but the general quality just drops..

@Muratus del Mur We have a new player Marcorias who currently has 0 active days, but I have seen him active for 2-3 days and I have seen him gathering evolution points each day so the new requirement for days to count should also not be an issue. Since new players need certain active days for some of the ways to leave GWI island, it is doubly a problem. Marcorias has also reported this problem on discord. I can aslo see the 0 active days on his online description. Thanks.

It seems to work on mobile

As the evolution shop is granting plenty of tools to harvest resources, the resource depletion is becoming a larger issue. The resources are often depleted to near 0, and will take a long time to recover (not that they will get that time since they will be harvested as soon as they appear). Currently, the ways to delay such depletions are: movelock / gazebo of chaos the depleter (very short solution) use land cleanser (multiple people, the depleter needs to stay in the location long enough for fight, you move him scene by scene and they can still harvest) verbal pleading ( does not work) possibly ferry travel ? (not tested, quite hard to obtain spell) Potential idea: a new tool/spell obtainable from evolution shop that would protect the resources? I imagine there could be quite a few variants to this, like the defense only works while the player stays in that location, or it movelocks the player, etc. If this worked only for a single scene, it would require a group of players to organize defenses and focus on defending the multiple locations. But any anti-gatherable defense would only make sense if it is able to go on for longer time. Please share your ideas in this thread how we can solve this:)

In some rare cases, combining items from this shop might lead to creating poerful (->powerful) custom items. Please note that this item is not functional, and it is not unique. All items in this shop are designed to be so. Functional or unique personal items are a rare thing obained (-> obtained) through hard work, and this is just one step towards that. You can still use functional items by grabbing them for free from the shared items list in each land.

(Part 5) The lightning crashed, the wind howled, the sand flew around. And as rapidly as it started, all of it.. ended. The knator survived the storm, mostly unhurt. Maybe a new one would come soon. But this one passed, and he was still alive. The knator lifted his head up. For the first time in a while, he could actually see around himself. A field of grass was around him and the tree, with a single dirt road. A couple of small boulders were lying in the grass. Nearby, a single scarecrow stood, undisturbed as if the storm was unable to touch it. Similarly, a statue atop a pile of boulders stood near the dirt road. As if the fate was making fun of knator, he even spotted a cave entrance in a hill not so far from where he was. It would make a very good place to hide. Looking up at the tree, he wondered why the birds did not go there to hide from the storm. Well, a single bird, now. It was looking around, its eyes dim, not focusing on anything, just searching. It did not find what it was looking for. “Kaw.” And from behind the bird, from a place which it protected with its whole body, a young voice resounded. “Caw?”

(Part 4) The knator quickly approached the tree, putting it between himself and the direction where he came from. The pressure from the wind lessened immediately, and the knator could finally catch a proper breath. He managed to dodge suffocation by the winds, but there were still other dangers. With speed, he started to dig a hole near the trunk of the tree. Soon, he hit the roots and could not continue. With an effort, he lay down into the hole, managing to fit in as best as he could, with lower half of his body in the hole. “Kaw!” A faint sound echoed in the storm. Knator lifted his head. Up in the tree, he could spot two birds, one a bit larger than the other one. The larger one was desperately clutching to a branch while the other one was tightly fitted into a hole in the trunk. “Kaw!”, the smaller one called again, the sound filled with desperation. The larger one lost its balance briefly. Instinctively, it spread its wings a bit not to fall from the branch.. only to be swept away by the wind. “Kaaaaw!” The storm continued.

(Part 3) Pain. Each breath hurt, each step he took felt like his last. Everything was getting dark. The young knator was not sure whether it was because of the coming storm darkening the sky or his mind slowly dying. He knew that if he stopped, he would not be able to continue searching. And then.. he stopped. Something knocked his legs from under him, and he fell. The fall was hard and his head hurt. The ground was rough. The feeling of its surface reminded him of the Loreroot, of its beautiful trees. The Knator looked down. Wood. He was lying on wooden planks. That was why he fell, he must have hit some wooden structure. With the last reserves of energy he did not even know he had, he managed to get up. Slowly, he walked on the wooden planks, following where they led. After only a few steps, the wood ended. He saw that there was something surrounding him, like he was in a tunnel. The storm and sand obscured what it was. The wind became a bit better, and the knator quickened his pace. The tunnel-like environment ended, and he was back in an open area, still a bit obscured by the flying sand. And before him, a single tree stood.

(Part 2) The knator was running on the beach. It was full of sand, which the knator quickly started to hate. It was coarse and rough and irritating and it got everywhere. The first arrived the wind. There was no transition from a slight breeze to a powerful gale. One moment, there was nothing. And in the next one, the young knator nearly lost balance from the strong force pushing him from the side. The knator knew he could not stop. The wind moved around the knator like a hunter circling prey. It was wild, quickly changing sides from which it blew, making the knator wobble from one side to another. The visibility was also getting worse with all the sand in the air. Even if there was some sort of shelter nearby, the knator would need to be very close to it to spot it. A line of light appeared in the knator’s vision, and was gone as soon as it appeared. The sound of thunder striking came a few second later. And the knator continued to run.

(I decided to try to write a story for fun, I will be releasing some short parts of it in irregular intervals. Maybe more people will read it when it is not one long paragraph, hmm. The main idea of this story is to.. give certain areas in MD a bit of attention and life, I guess. I would be happy for any feedback. ) As a certain author once wrote: „Scientists have calculated that the chances of something so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten. „ And so, a young knator ended up on a Gateway Island. It was unknown what took him away from the deep Loreroot forest, whether it was someone fooling around with spells or a hole in a reality. But one thing was for sure. The knator did not have the slightest idea how to get back. It was confused. And scared. It wanted to be home, in the forest, not.. whenever it currently was. Looking around, the knator found only an empty beach, a tall cliff, and an ocean. Above the ocean, there was a storm. It was not moving left nor right. As if it was just.. floating there. And getting larger. And larger. The young knator realised that he needed to find a place to hide. And fast. PS: I thought knators had tails, but now that I am looking, I can't find any in the pictures
