Voted for Primordials. As the word evokes something to me that is a ancient/first of a kind, I believe it does also fit and not only sounds cool.

This thread is generally for new pet ideas or feedback. I am going to throw some bundle of thoughts from multiple pet topics here, feel free to do the same. Rammbling Part 1 So, what is a pet? What is it supposed to represent? I think this should be the base question from which others like "what can the pets do" and similar can be raised. In my view, a pet is a companion. A living (? Maybe not all since MD has its magic, go take a talking rock. Maybe sentient is a more fitting word, although still debatable) being which has its own traits and interests, but accompanies you during your life. There is a certain relationship you build. As pets have both common things between each other AND at the same time they have some unique traits, I think this should be reflected in what they eat, what they are, and what they do. Meaning, maybe we could have some categories for pets. Maybe something like their habitat, where they come from. Forest, hills, underground.. Ohh, is this not familiar? LANDS. Loreroot pets. GG pets. No man Lands pets.?? Naturally some pets can come from multiple habitats so they would be like unspecified or what. What should pets do? In terms of skill. Welllll. They could boost their owner (is this the correct word in this case?) or protect them, shed some fur as an item, do (emote) a sound in chat when you click them (depends if we want to place them in a scene which may be cluttered or clicking them from inventory.. I dont have pet yet dont look at me, gotta find slots to figure how this works). Maybe they could consume resources too (straight from the scene? CARD come quickly Ledahs cow is eating all herbs).

Hi nepnep. I am happy to hear from you. Life always takes precedence before any online stuff. I hope that you have managed to get some stuff of your chest with this post. Know that many people before you left MD without a word, me included, and others will after us, so it is not rare, and you do not owe anyone any explanation, although it is nice to understand your reasoning. I have seen quite a few people become invested in great things (groups, organisations, projects..), and then become burdened by them when they felt they had duties to it. It is alright to take a step back, otherwise it may twist into something ugly it was never supposed to be. I wish you well in both worlds. Maybe we can talk for a bit, should we meet. Just to chill. Dear All, The last few days have been eventful, especially when it comes to resources. We have seen a few people show extraordinary activity and progress when it comes to resource harvesting, or, better, stripping the lands till nothing remains. There have been discussions, arguments and counter-arguments, mostly leading to nothing and the resources continuing to be depleted. Then, with the creation of CARD, a solution has been proposed that will have an impact on the overly enthusiastic harvesters. Is the CARD a perfect solution? No. Is it the one we deserve? Maybe. There is no problem with resources themselves. They are infinitely regenerating, without the risk of becoming dry. And yet, we have managed to make an issue out of endlessly flowing gift. There are some depleters who ransack for fun, and are waiting for chaos to begin, for someone to challenge them. They shall have their excitement, the thrill, the challenge. Cheers. But there are also people who come in, grab everything without care, and hide behind false ideals and masks. You ate the basket full of sweets, selfishly and without patience, and now that a RESPONSE to your actions has come, you dare call it aggression? Dare you to claim a right to freedom of your rights, when you take it from others ? Do not even mention any justice, for you are only sharing threats to only worsen your actions. In your foolishness, you sink everyone. The only amusing thing is, you are sinking yourself too. And as such, your loss is inevitable, for you are getting consequences from not one, but two sides, the rest of the people and what you yourself have caused to the land. I have observed enough. Quest name : Daily item quest How to start the quest : "poke" one of the flat stones around Gazebo of Equilibrium Quest Description : Somewhere around the realm, an item code will be posted in a scene chat. The item will be consumable of some type, and will belong to the first person who claims the code. On the flat stone near Gazebo of Equilibrium, a hint will be provided for that days scene. The hint is general, and only shrinks the number of scenes one has to look through. (for example North, forest, books, ...) Notes : There may be days when I am not able to put any item around, you can see on the stone the last day an item has been put I am not doing this in a set time, sometimes I will update the stone and provide item during mornings, sometimes evenings Once you claim the code, please write in the scene so other people do not waste their time For any troubles or questions, post in this thread or pm me

10 gold as a set sum is too high for some people, and too low for others. I would recommend basing it on active days. This way veterans who should know better pay more and new players who are learning pay less. 1 gold for people under 100 days 5 gold for people under 1000 days 10 gold for players older than 1000 days ? seems like a word is missing here I see that you could choose not to buy stuff, but if they keep being highest bidder on your items, this could get complicated Should using a rain spell or two also remove a mark?

Just to refresh some memories, the golden harvesting rule is 2/3, meaning you should not harvest if there is 66% remaining resources in a scene. The reason is that the 1/3 is regenerable in a day, so the next day the resource will be full again. Should a resource be fully depleted, it can take a week+- to be back to full. If anyone remembers the whole number list, please post it, I am just going by memory. I remember there is also something at 50%?

"Don't just feed it junk" - I definitely agree, adding a wrong item may actually worsen the result. I think of it as trying to make an item of certain quality, and then you just throw mud into it so it becomes larger, but the general quality just drops..

@Muratus del Mur We have a new player Marcorias who currently has 0 active days, but I have seen him active for 2-3 days and I have seen him gathering evolution points each day so the new requirement for days to count should also not be an issue. Since new players need certain active days for some of the ways to leave GWI island, it is doubly a problem. Marcorias has also reported this problem on discord. I can aslo see the 0 active days on his online description. Thanks.

It seems to work on mobile

As the evolution shop is granting plenty of tools to harvest resources, the resource depletion is becoming a larger issue. The resources are often depleted to near 0, and will take a long time to recover (not that they will get that time since they will be harvested as soon as they appear). Currently, the ways to delay such depletions are: movelock / gazebo of chaos the depleter (very short solution) use land cleanser (multiple people, the depleter needs to stay in the location long enough for fight, you move him scene by scene and they can still harvest) verbal pleading ( does not work) possibly ferry travel ? (not tested, quite hard to obtain spell) Potential idea: a new tool/spell obtainable from evolution shop that would protect the resources? I imagine there could be quite a few variants to this, like the defense only works while the player stays in that location, or it movelocks the player, etc. If this worked only for a single scene, it would require a group of players to organize defenses and focus on defending the multiple locations. But any anti-gatherable defense would only make sense if it is able to go on for longer time. Please share your ideas in this thread how we can solve this:)
