I was going through the AL once again, and I was wishing there was some version of it that would be less painful to read, especially for "bulk-reading" like most newcomers [should] do. In particular, its presentation in the interface is adapted for reading newly added fragments, but I would have liked a version where all fragments would be grouped by chapter, which was already proposed long ago [url="http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/1439-side-story-adventure-log/page__view__findpost__p__7979"]here[/url] but was never done (at least not that I could find on the forum ...). So I made it:

I hope altering the order of events is not a sacrilege ...

It is still quite a raw result. There are probably some bugs that appeared during the conversion, and many possible improvements to do. I am open to all suggestions! If you find it useful, I may spend a bit more time to try to make it look better, for instance with a more MD-biased look.

If you appreciate it, I intend to do a similar thing for the announcements, although this one still grows. [size=2]Hopefully the Adventure Log too will grow again some day ...?[/size]

The announements will be finalized into a more readable format for highlighting of specific ones of intrest once i have finished it. Currently i am in the stage of catagorizing and commenting them. Once that has done i can prepare the interface to allow for easier searching ect.

It is not finished. I had the same reaction as you when i started and regretted not to see that work finished. Maybe an archivist could take over your work and update the mda files?

Can't remember how straight forward it is, but you could set up an account, then upload the bits? Find an active admin on there first though, can't remember who they are XD will try and find out

After checking it recently i cannot approve any new accounts properly. I need to talk to Mur regarding this and hope to resolve the situation in the coming weeks.

You should note that some AL are more then meets the eye. Take 2008-09-26 out of context and see what happened then (Page 265 - 270).

Is anyone going to provide an updated version when A debt repaid comes to an end?

We can create PDF's automatically when its updated if he shares the latex source, or i can do it myself. Its just some macros, anyone could do it if they want to. I can see that the server has some form of tex distro if needed.

Does anyone have a mirror of the pdf posted ITT? After some searching I found this but much to my chagrin the attachment seems to be buggered.

I was trying to read the AL but ended up getting put into idle mode partway through. Some sort of better interface to read AL is definitely needed.

Yes! That way I won't go idle while reading it! That's what deterred me the first time(s) I tried and I just never bothered to try again...it's been a fun and interesting challenge putting the story together based on folks saying things like I (or others when I eavesdrop! ) should know what they mean (and checking individual pages for reference every once in a while)
