I've been working on drawing up a picture for my Rogue's Cloak.

This is a semi/close to finished version.

I'd like your guy's opinion.

That's more of a fancy snob guy's clock rather than a rogue's one.

He's no artist, but my guy thinks it's quite alright. Then again, what does my guy know, his entire existence is anchored on mine.

In other words, it looks fine to me, and put the apostrophe in the correct position next time

Come up with a Rouge Insignia, and place it on the inside middle of the cloak :3

Nah, I'm not a rogue not would the symbol mean anything to me. Anyways, there are details in it already, you just haven't noticed them.



Could anyone do the Alpha mask thing for me? I can't seem to get it to work properly.

I'm rather sure you need a higher quality scan if that is supposed to be anything. And maybe redraw it with a thin marker.

Yeah, I know that SS. I don't have a scanner right now, so taking a picture with an 8MP camera was the best I could do.

Aren't they supposed to be drawn with pencil?

I tend to draw with a pencil, but my scanner can't pick that up. I've always had to redraw using a marker of sorts, otherwise the picture looks as if someone used..charcoal or so to make a sketch at best. If you do that and get a high quality scan to me where the background is uniform, i'll try doing the alpha.

Still need some help with this...

There's rather a lack of pockets in the picture...if I remember the description correctly, anyhow

I tried drawing in the pockets on the inside of the cloak, but it didn't work out too well.

I might do the alpha if it hasn't been done by this weekend. TOO busy now.

Actually it looks epicly great on white... But that won't fit MD..

(btw, the problem isn't that you have shot it with your phone. The problem is that you didn't light the scene properly, if at all.)

We can't see it!!

Well, now I can't too, it was there in the first place. Anyway, just hold the Ctrl button and roll the scroller of the mouse untill you shrink the first variant around 50%. The lines of the cloak are invisible, unles One know they should be there.

Seigh, don't be smart and make some corrections of the image you want to use. Clearly this one won't do it.

And, for the record - the flash exposure of your phone sucks
Get some sunlight or brighter lamp nearby. Make sure it emits around 6400K colour temperature and adjust the white balance.

I don't know about all of you, but personally I don' find the dark colours good enough for what it represents. Maybe lightening up the grey part a bit.
