You do realize that not everybody will have snow by 15th of December right? Ro will be lucky if we'll have snow for Christmas.

And those people can be inventive and find snow somewhere else.

Not everywhere has pumpkins, but I still got plenty of submissions. Even one that wasn't a pumpkin.

No snow at all in my case need to travel way up north for three days by train to even touch snow.

Then you should skip the "go out" part.

Whether the snowman is outside or not doesn't matter, but being made out of snow is kind of essential. (Freezer snow would be acceptable. lol)

Yeah, I'd say more end of Jan or something if you wanted to make it open to all.

I'd like it to be done by Christmas, any later, and people get sick of winter. Don't want to wait too long.

Not everybody has 5 months of winter like us, I'm sure they don't get tired of it so easily. Whether or not they do, though, I'm sure that being able to participate where they couldn't before will make them even just a little happy.

Why don't you just change the snowman to lantern making / unique Christmas Tree decoration competition? Atleast everyone has access to both.

Well, I'm not Christian, and I don't think everyone else here is either. You're more than welcome to make a christmas themed quest.

Ahem, It's a snowman contest. Arguing that some don't have snow (at the moment includes me) is like arguing that some can't go swimming outdoors in january. Let it be people have the right do make their own quests.

and as Seig said you can make a snowman from a freezer snow.

Also, what about all the people in the southern hemisphere? Should I make a snowman quest in the middle of july as well? O.o

Then what about all the people on the north pole? Do they get to participate twice!?

Oh I didn't get the context the first time. That's a great idea, I'll make my own quest then probably next summer, it'll be Lava man making contest (only available to players living beside an active volcano. Summer 2013)

Will have to get some ice-cubes into the freezer then! Since we don't get snow that early here (as Chewett has already said).

Question for you...does it have to be clear/white?

Seigh would it be okay to make a snowman sculpture or make it out of foam balls and then paste on googly eyes? Does it have to be made of Ice? can it be a drawing or made out of paper?
