Link for when this becomes ancient history and nobody knows what I'm talking about To be clear, I 100% agree with Chew's statement here. Fang added nothing (or very little) to the discussion in that topic. However: I'll put all my cards on the table here (at least in one of my hands), so I can hopefully make my point more clear: I was 13 when I started playing this "game", and I'm 22 now. You have all watched me grow into an adult (whether you realized it or not) and not only watched me but sculpted me. So given that, here we go: As a younger man, I found it much more easy than I do now to engage with my passion for justice in MD. That's what I believe Fang…

The forum has a strict 1 account per person rule, This means that if you run a poll there should be no alts voting in it. However since this assumes there are no alts on the forum and therefore checks are done regularly on users and polls to remove alts. If you have multiple accouns you should contact me. But, if you wish your poll to be checked for alts you should send me: Topic link Reason Note, These altchecks are very labour intensive as i have to go through each user and check if they are an alt or not, It takes approximately 2 minutes per person to check, with an approximate base time of 10 minutes to get all the data required to start it. This means that…

When I load the forum on my Android phone, I get the mobile version, which I like due to ease of navigation and simplicity. Sometimes I choose 'full version' option to see voting on comments and other details. Once switched, I don't know how to switch back. Reloading the bookmark maintains full version. Usually it will randomly switch back after a few days, and I don't know what the trigger is. Is there a place to switch back by choice? If so, where is it located?

This issue has been raised multiple times, so lets make a FAQ! Recently "Facebook" has been getting rather snoopy, With the recent forum upgrade it seems to be on nearly every forum and hidden forum. For some reason, which i have no answer to, Some new feature is tagging facebook as viewing it. From guesswork, i can only think that it is because your personal facebook accounts are being flagged as "viewing" it. This does not mean anyone outside your allowed forum group can see your private forum. If someone can look at material they shouldnt be able to, i shall give them a Morph and/or tainted angien (subject to terms and conditions). Provided this is not due to a…

The Messaging system on the forum has several useful features that can be utilised when sending people messages. One such feature is that you can "invite" multiple people to the message. THis makes it much more like a threaded forum conversation than a personal message. Also to stop spam and harassment there is a report button on each message someone sends you, under their details and avatar. This can be used to let the moderating team know of your complaint, and allow them to quickly deal with it. Anyone in the conversation can invite others to the conversation. Meaning that whatever you say there wont necessarily be private between you and the other party if they w…

Next to each post there is a report button, This allows you to send a message directly to all mods about a specfic post OR private message. It also allows you to give some kind of comment on the post. When reporting posts please spend some time to give a good reason why the post is offensive or spam and needs moderator attention. The more infomation we have, the quicker we can resolve the issue. NOTE: Using the report post button because you want someone to move a post, or close a topic is an abuse and will mean you can face warnings and have the tool removed. Only report spam and offensive posts using this tool. If you are unsure about its use, or not…

The moderators here are not paid, They do not gain any special benifits inside the game. They are voulenteer jobs only. This being said, Most of them (aka me) will not take kindly to you asking them to close/move/edit a topic by saying "can you do X on my topic" If you are lucky, they will spend their time looking for the topic, and make a guess at what you want to be done, But if you wish them to do something for you it is merely courtesy to be clear about what you would like to be done, such as providing a link to the topic. I cant tell you how many times iv had people asking to close "my topic" and "the new topic i made". If you are lucky i will waste my t…

There is a team of moderators on this forum that deal with warning people, closing topics and helping people use the forum. They dont get paid for doing this nor do they get any benefits. If there is something in perticular that you would like to close, unless you are the creator of the post it is considered rude to post comments like "this should probably be closed" and such. Because of this if you in specific feel that something should be done with X topic then you should contact a moderator via pm to ask nicely if they agree with what you feel should be done. Backseat modding is both rude and annoying, because by "helping" you bump the topic with a pointless post…

Because of the extent of the forum, sometimes its just impossible to read it all. We recommend using the "New Content" button to view any posts that you want to read. Once you have read these if you go to the bottom of the page there is a button "mark Board as read". TThis will mark the entire forum as read, so even if you didn't read some topics, it will say that you have. Do so with caution as there is no way to undo this This allows you to see any new topics that might intrest you as they are posted, instead of having to read the topics that dont, just so they go away.

NOTE: If you have more than 20 posts and still cannot give or take reputation you need to PM me and i can fix this issue.

All members have the option of "Locking" their status posts (moderators can unlock and lock any members Messages). What this does is disable the ability for people to reply to your message with a comment. This is entirely at your choice and although moderators will still be able to comment they will usually not comment if you have locked it.
