I admit I was young and foolish back then, but now that you brought this up... the way I was treated is no way someone of my age at that time should be treated, ever. There were nicer ways to stop me, and had Chew not come up to me and helped at that point, I most probably would not be playing MD right now. That was the first or second time, in fact, that I realized how much authority the vets have, i.e nobody can say "no" to them. Mur is the only person who can, isn't it?

Yeah, one thing I've noticed is that those who get their roles from Mur... there's no argument about it, whereas if someone wants to create and follow a role of his own (which may even help MD later on) he gets faced with sooo much opposition from the community... There needs to be a person like Mur, who does what the people want, or people will never get what they want and MD will cripple. Think back and you'll realize that this really is what will happen. All those favored people... is it a bad thing? Had Mur not "favored" Chew and given him code access, would MD be as it is now, without a coding Wookie whom we so rely on? Of course, there needs to be some control (which Mur can take the responsibility for) on those people who are favored (aka given powers) too, when they do something which is disliked by a part of the community, or even a single person if it is injustice. I'm not saying control to the extent that the people can't have fun with their powers (cause that's the point), but just enough to not let them go overboard. Favoritism is not the worst thing about Mur. The worst thing is that he leaves the people he favored to do whatever they want, aka he should control them when they begin to even slightly abuse their powers. (I have repeatedly made this a point in-game many times that vets are given too much authority in this realm and there is no one to say "no" to them.. most just support because of their reputation)

I for one really love the outgoing messages control feature, especially the suppress message part of it. The reason I'm concerned is that it was something we bought in the shop, even if it was something easy to get and as low as one dollar. Whereas PMs to email is free and makes that useless. I completely support everyone's solution.

Someone can cast indefinite spells on some HC participant to help them win. That's why no spells. If winners can cast on participants... bad result.

Explain how once a month HC would be better than once a year. Know also, that you are against the last HC update by Council, by saying so. Also explain how my argument is invalid. You can't cast spells, training goes down due to people just going and hiding in one faraway place, people just quit HC and say they'll simply win in the next one, it's THAT easy. And you want to make it even easier aka simply giving out rewards freely every month? Look at MD's population. Then look at what percentage of it already has the heads medal and cannot participate. Then also look at the percentage of those who don't want to participate out of those who can.

Once a month? You know how painful HC if for those not participating (and for those participating in many occasions) and how long it lasts? The last update caused HC to be held even less times per year than before, and now I suggest only once a year would be enough, but at a very carefully chosen time (when activity is highest).

I am not angry, this was not a rant, no matter how it seems. However it seems this topic was not closed and I am forced to reply... Please show me (more than one) examples of when I last spoke like that. I doubt it was recent. 20 neg-reps in bidding threads, followed by continuous neg rep in other topics afterwards, is spam. In cases when others neg repped me, at least one of the people I mentioned was consistent in every single post. Generally, but not in MD. I mean, the way dst posted just now is "generally" disliked, but is it now? There are trolls in MD. And you are also correct about not generally disliking/liking posts without reason. I'd love to hear those reasons. Not from others, but from the person giving them. No one, Plix Plox, Lazarus and Pipstickz, what are your reasons? @No one: You don't care about your own rep (you just stated it) yet you say that. Feedback in MD is, according to you, clearly useless cause you will just go ahead and say it anyway, right? You throw away neg rep (you just stated that too... "In most of the threads I neg rep a person") as if the person who gets it will not care, because you don't care about it yourself. Plix Plox alone has given me more than 113 neg rep so far. This was the most shocking of all, as I never even had a proper conversation with him, ever. Didn't expect this one bit... reporting now for neg rep spam. No one has given me more than 82 neg rep so far. I'm reporting now for neg rep spam. Lazarus has given me more than 42 neg rep so far. Also reporting for spam as I barely talked to him, ever. Pipstickz has spammed more than 25 neg rep so far, which I also thought he'd never do as I have never spoken to him. The rest of the neg rep, especially the ones given by dst, Chewett, Menhir and Nimrodel...
