hmm, I don't know exactly what caused that disappointment of yours, Tom. We also havent been speaking ingame for a while, but it seems you got sad because you didn't meet Santa this year. Well, if it's the case, I just feel sorry that you are getting sad about such little details. Because MD is not about presents or Santas or ressources or creatures etc. MD for me is mostly about friends.
 
Santa has been here this year and maybe he has been even waiting for u, but time zone issues didn't allow you to meet each other. (yes, apparently Santas need to sleep as well, even thought this is a rather disappointing fact). Last year I missed all X-Mas presents because I wasn't online because of visiting a friend. Yes it's sad, but is it really a reason to leave?
 
I enjoyed your tommusic because it was nice and I know I am not alone. So tell me what reward did you expect here - a morph, a shade, a tainted, a 100 gold? Or maybe a joy that you bring to people with it costs much more than all that? Think about it before you leave.
 
Oh and one more thing - there always will be people who DON'T like what you do and say. No matter where you go and what you do. But instead of focusing on that, why just not concentrate on positive, look what you did good and do better next time.

as far as I know there are no size limitations at this stage of the quest. I am sure size of your Santa can be adjusted later if it is needed. Ofc you don't need to draw something the size of the car as well as not a tiny little image, so in general it is to be dictated by a common sense. Don't think about pixels and stuff just give freedom to your imagination and draw a nice Santa.
 
If you are planning to participate in the quest - just do it.
 
No need to wait till next Christmas.

strangely, for me the best notion that corresponds a seed and at the same time a concept of present-past-future is idea.
 
Idea is planted to you mind representing some knowledge of past generations and minds. This knowledge is not present but accumulated in a small object containing life. This object (idea) not yet grown up and might be only little blicks in complete darkness. But planted on a good ground - thinking, creative mind, nurtured with knowledge and experience, the idea starts to grow. this is present. Period when knowledge is "touchable" and vulnerable to outside influences and changes. At some point gives fruit, which results in further ideas, more deep, more detailed, innovative. This fruit is a hope for future, motivation to move further and achieve more. The process of growth (present) cannot be imagined without a seed (which is past) and makes no sense without fruit, which is future. This is the endless nature of knowledge but the same paradigm applies for other spheres as well .

I am also very grateful to Chewett and Syrian, also Zyr and Maebius for our work together. In spite of our good and bad days I have learned a lot and I consider it absolutely positive experience.
 
There is a number of reasons that made me do this decision:
 
My RL availability. Since I am studying and working together it is really hard to put additional time in my schedule during the exam period. All other times are fine, but those times are really tough. To prevent some comments on this – yes, when I applied for PC I knew very well about my exam periods, but I was hoping that until the first exam period comes we have a good functioning and very active team which can compensate my partial inactivity in that period. This did not come true, since other members (except Syrian) are too inactive, which makes the responsibility too high.
 
Another reason – giving other motivated and smart people around a chance to try themselves in PC role. Even if I do feel I am capable of doing it further there is always somebody who can do better and I think PC is a perfect opportunity to find such people.
 
All in all I still stay an active community member, but without any political responsibility. I certainly continue working on all quests I announced lately, so my stepdown has no influence on those. I will also try to organize more quests in the future or help everyone who needs my help.

Somehow i started to feel realy terrible for making this post.
 
I won't die without that knife..and if you are willing to help with money, then you better keep it for fund raisings that help MD in cases when it needs or buy credits with it.
 
if you want to make someone a gift, then find out what chewy could want most and i will help too, he is the one that really deserves a gift in here, and he would never dare to sell md goods for getting something nice, like i did here.

 This event is similar to Christmas Santa (Christmas Reindrach) that is being conducted previous years. The main idea is presents exchange between participants.  
 
 
Instructions:
 
 
 If you like giving and getting presents on Christmas – put your name in this thread. After the registration is over we randomly assign names to every participant. Each of you will have to decide on the present you want to give to another unknown person beforehand. Your presents can be creatures, items, coins. Everything you think is worth to be given as a present. Naturally you will be able to receive the present from somebody else who will get your name assigned.
Once you decided you want to participate there are 3 things to do:
Post your name in this thread until deadline time. Send me a forum PM with the name and CTC/ITC of your gift creature/item etc. until the deadline. Deliver your gift to the person after you got the name.  
 
Prizes:
