Well eigger, you do have a reputation of beggar and of a person who would do anything for profit (mostly credits) so don't blame them for accusing you of trying to get something out of this. You know the procedure for bug reports: when is something that you discover and you know that it is a bug (like the above case) you report to Mur directly (in case you don't trust one of the moderators of the game). But instead of doing that you posted on the forum. Why? No idea but I can speculate:brag, receive some rewards, selling the info. A consequence of your post is that more players found about it and I bet several already discovered how it is done. And asking permission to test it during HC? Are you nuts? That only shows how materialistic you are! Shish... And for players reading this:some time ago Mur places some sort of bounties(or rewards if you like) for players that discover and report bugs. You have no idea what I had to put up with from eigger. He tried to trick me several times, he lied and when confronted he, of course, did not admit anything. That's why I am so skeptical when it comes to eigger and bugs.

A question before closing this one:was Rendril awarded the Wp just because he was the only active one or because he found the object with the WP? And wouldn't be nice if you would post also at least the item(s) with the WP on them?

Well...it is over. Several players solved it and I am pleased with the amount of players who tried it. However there are some issues. First:2 of the players cheated. One of them did not finished the quest in the end (faith?). I have no problem with cheating on quests but if I find out you did then...you're banned from my quests . Fair enough I might say. But I doubt she/he will try again. I still have some WPs left so I will put up a new quest as soon as I get ride of my laziness. Congratz to the winners. Better luck for the ones that did not solved it. Congratz to the cheater that managed to fool me and shame on the one I spotted. Oh...and if I have time, I will put here the solution of the quest.

I saw in chat when he asked us to PM him if we want the extra heat orb. I did. I got my heat orb. As far as I remember Mur even said that he got only 26 PMs. It had to be done manually, that's why he asked for PMs. Seems the adrenaline of unwrapping the presents made you miss one

If you did not PM Mur to fix it (when he asked us to PM him) then you'll not get it. Since you miss it I suspect you did not send a PM ergo...no 7th orb for you this year.

I personally don't agree with this idea. MD is not a social network or an IRC chat or *cough* "dating site" *cough*. We already have enough ways of communicating with each other. If you ask me, this one is not necessary.

Because of the recent boom of the crits market. There are lot of scammers all over MD. I would hate to see topics like: X sold me a faked angien! Buhuhuhu!!!

I let this topic settle for some time. Let's see what happened meanwhile...Hmm...almost nothing. Except few notable quests: 1) Cutler's: we all know it and experienced it. It was a breath of air.A fresh and pleasant one. I enjoyed getting lost in the maze, I enjoyed testing my sense of orientation (the one that I don't have). Overall a very good quest. Congratz! 2)Asryn quest - treasure hunt. I must say that it was one of the best quests I ever done. It was strictly MD related, done without any clickies, fun, fun, fun. A beauty! It was a great chance for noobs to actually learn a lot about MD. 3)MRV quest - Mesmerized (it's still going on). I cannot say much about it since it would be a spoiler but I can tell you: it's amazing. It's one of the most complex quests in MD. You need knowledge of everything. If you manage to finish it you do have a white ball from me. It's great! 4)Burns quests - the one with the werewolf and bats: great idea. Too bad few actually participated actively in it (I am ashamed to say that I started it but never finished..shame on me!) - teacher of magic: an easy and in the same time hard quest. I liked the fact that it is emulated on the participant. An mp3 will never get the tasks an mp5 would. And probably one of the new mp5s will never get the task I was given. Right now there are some quests up with potential. Princ's quest is also something new but unfortunately it's what i call a "special" quest. A new idea but not that MD suited. Anyway, if someone manages to finish it...congratz! MB's quest is also interesting and also a "special" quest. Why? Cause of its difficulty .The point of a quest is to be solved. So far...MB is the champion of impossible quests . I like it in a way even if I find it frustrating sometimes but that is just a personal thingy . And I bet I will kick myself when I will see the solution or find a way to solve it myself. Because I am expecting something really smart I am sad to still see on the quest list essay quests.Why? Because they are waay to subjective. And they target certain players. And they show how lazy the quest creator is. At least the "spam everyone to find the right person" type of quests seems to have died. Or at least I hope so from the bottom of my hart. I will keep this thread alive and update it with examples of good and bad quests. I will not be able to test every single quest out there so I am proposing you all to post your opinions about quests here. Showing flaws in some quests and good things in others will hopefully help all of use design better and better quests.
