>I've already started ???? Howso? I havent even given you what we are looking to do....

I appreciate the ideas but we need someone to explicitly plan and test what we are going to do. So applications still open. I need someone "in charge" of this so we make sure we dont break any accounts or have issues.

Im going to take this as your single task. The others are back open to other people.

If anyone else wants to do this speak now and I will reassign it to you since Fang has taken multiple things as I explicitly asked not to.

>Ill handle placing all this information in one good place under our Discord chat, ill make a new "frequently-asked-q" Fang this isnt what this job is about. We need to work out the best way for storing a variety of tutorial style documents and Im pretty sure there isnt a way to embed 10000 words of documentation and pictures about MD in discord. Since it appears you may have misunderstood this its still open for anyone to work on.

> but as a heads up Chewy ill try to take more than one task The reason we only want one person to take a task at a time as it means lots more people can help out. If you want to do multiple tasks, ask for one, do one, then say you are working on the second, third, etc. If no one else wants to do them they will still be open when you have finished the first so this is actively detrimental. Im not making random decisions trying to stop people doing things, there are specific reasons why I said that Fang and I would ask you respect that. For the tasks you have claimed all at once I will ask if anyone else wants to do them.

Christmas is fast approaching and we will want our newbies to experience it. Therefore we need to have a plan so they can either come to the mainland, or the mainland can come to them. I need someone to have a think about what we might want to do and talk with a variety of MD players to see what they think. I want to try and bring them christmas but we need to have a good plan. Once we have a plan you will be in charge of ensuring it goes ahead without a hiccup and the safe return of the newbies. Your reward will be open to discussion. Please apply here and I will pick someone.

I am looking for someone to help coordinate the christmas quests and the rewards. You will need to work with me and keep track of the quests and what rewards they want. In addition, help me reward the questmakers. Your reward will be something special, open to discussion. Please apply here and I will pick someone.

We currently have some help documents under Live help button -> help topics. We also have documents under the top links -> restrictions We also have various documents under "More Info" links which are pretty scattered about how they are displayed. Also below the avatar we have some how to play links. ---- All in all its pretty disjointed. We need someone to talk to others and the newbies currently in gateway (I can give you a way to travel and talk to them) and see what they think, see if they have found anything that does it well so we can do something similar. I need someone to spend a bit of time working with what Discord has to offer us and forming some channels. In addition, we need a pinned post for every channel so it would be good if we can get that written up. Please use the discord channel discord-focus-group so we can talk about where we want to take this.

I need someone to write up a document including pictures of how you trade creatures. (Please blank out your CTC's in the images) Ideally this would be given to me in the format of text and images (as a separate PNG's) zipped up or similar. 5 Silver for completing this task.

I need someone to write up a document including pictures of how you trade items using the standard inventory. In addition, this needs a secondary section explaining how some items cannot be traded, and how to trade items with ITC's. Again pictures must be present. Ideally this would be given to me in the format of text and images (as a separate PNG's) zipped up or similar. 10 Silver for completing this task.

We will use this forum from time to time to post jobs that we need completing so that we can distribute some of the non-coding tasks. If you want to take a specific task please post saying that you will take the task. If someone has taken the task but you want to work on it or help please contact them or use the forum to ask if they need help. Rewards will be given for completing work we need. You are free to work on any tasks you please however only take one task at a time so we can aim to get tasks finished promptly. If there are any questions about a task or about this forum please ask away!

After talking with Fang we have created an Offical Discord Channel for Magicduel. You can access it by the following permanent link https://discord.gg/W6uChv9 We will be adding more content, channels, and bots to this in the coming days and weeks. Send me a message if you want to be a mod/admin. Game announcement will follow when its more "MD'ly"

I have created a discord that we will be working to improve tonight that will host the trading chat: https://discord.gg/W6uChv9

Talking with Fang we will set up s separate server with the appropriate settings

I wrote a big post about a week ago but it looks like the forum ate it... Essentially the answer was not really anyone because there wasn’t many to help so you just learnt by doing. I will see if the forum has remembered what I typed when I’m on my laptop

Nope, havent got around to investigating it... Sorry

>The one top complaint i have been hearing for the last two days, is why does it take 30 mins to make the first item. Whats your answer to that? What do you tell them about why it takes 30 minutes?

As I said Fang, you know why so im a bit confused why you posted here.

In this public thread I will merely say the request has been denied. The reason is a private matter but if you have forgotten it you can contact me.

I had a look at the account and it’s something on their specific browser but I need an image or several more to show me what the issue is as these don’t show enough.

Can you show more of the screen? I cant quite see what I would need to. What does the button do when you press it?

You havent given me much information so I cant really check into it. I appreciate you are making threads but they arent useful for me to look into these issues Fang
