I have to totally agree with Azkhael on this. And the answers are the problem lies elsewhere, and Yes I know that vis has to be hampering new players from having "fun" and I don't hardly leave GOE now with the Vis. vis was fine for war...but makes the game alot less active and also less fun.

MD is RL. What we do and say here has definite affects on the people we share this place with. The very fact that you are dreaming about this digital landscape shows that it is more than that. For years I thought that this was just a game. Funny thing is that I carried MD with me. I often thought about it, the friends I had made, the lessons I had learned... All real.

click on - File - Save as - then you will see a pop-up box. at the bottom of this pop-up box is a plus sign with the words "select file Type (by extension)" following it. click on that plus sign. a drop down menu appears and you need to scroll down to "Gif Image" select that and you have changed the file type to gif. now just click on SAVE button.

I do not upload them to the public portion of their site. there is also a paragraph before the one you partially quoted that states the difference between public and private uploads. Mine have all been private uploads, and to my knowledge, do not appear in their gallery. "You can upload images anonymously and share them online with only the people you choose to share them with. I went to Imgur on advise I received here in the forums (and I believe it was from Chewy, though I may be mistaken about that). I also searched the Public Gallery on Imgur for any of the images I uploaded there and have found none of them in their Public Gallery. as I understand it, and please correct me if I am wrong, Imgur only claims a license right to use any content that is uploaded to it's "Public" portion and not ownership nor copyright. Nim, If you will read No one's post and mine again you will see that I am not trying to get you to behave the same way. I was answering the question as to why I supported Granite and was explaining that indeed I had read his posts. I also stated in my response that I like dst. I've read pages and pages of Fang's posts...enough to see why so many disapprove of him. He is, to say the least...Provocative. But I am a Toaist. I don't try to force what is into what is not. Nowhere in my previous 2 posts do I state that I know everything. Yes I am talking to you dst. :)) Any reasonable person would see that is why questions where asked. because I did not know and was trying to understand. I do not share your opinion about Granite/Fang (nor Loreroot for that matter). His role playing is very bright and imaginative. He is valuable because he make the game better for his being here as does anyone who comes here and contributes as he does. Shem, I wasn't being paranoid. I just read and re-read my original post and couldn't for the life of me understand what I had said to be neg'd. Yes I understand that they did not agree with me...I was just wondering which part they disagreed with; the support for a Valuable player, or the questions. What I meant was that I thought that possibly it was due to me questioning those with the power to decide Granite's fate in this matter. And While I see your point in a general sense, I was asking specifically about Granite and why you all seem so opposed to letting him into LR, not you personally, but the LR members in general. (based on the posts and poll results posted in this thread) By his responses, it doesn't seem he is "diametrically opposed" to LR or it's people. I was just reading Petty Dodd's request to join MB. There is a real difference in this thread and that one, they are very kind and welcoming. It really Makes LR people Look bad by comparison. And by bad I mean to say unkind and a bit arrogant. sorry just calling it like I see it. I wonder how new players view this dialogue? Again Grido, thank you for your candor, your response begs another question though. Are new players allowed into LR? Because by your logic you have no way of knowing if they will "Get on with" the current citizens or not. Sounds like you are describing a popularity clique based upon personal likes and dislikes. Perhaps that is not what you meant. What happened to accepting people into a land based upon their roles? Seems a wolf role fits in pretty well to a forest.
