i'm sure you could turn it in some way to make useage of LHO-spells on dojo-violators morally right, as they are there for Live Help for players who need help, unlike the RPCs and Admin-spells, which are there to observe the greater rules of the game...

The dojo is meant for MP2 - MP4.
Any MP5 located there is just teaching or hiding. Both cases are attack-able.

MP5 has no excuse for staying in a dojo without being attacked. If you want to go idle ... there are already too many places for that activity.

But hey. if you didn't understood that already ... maybe you should not be in dojo staff anyway.
Since it is not my decision to include you in such a staff ... I'll enjoy farming on any MP5 there.

If you don't want to get attacked ... then do as Tzaroth747 or as Zleiphneir.

Blood Princ has been banned for repeated violations in the Dojo at Marind Bell Park. Attacks were made on Staff Members, as well as other Mp5's of all types (Alliances, Guilds, Regular players). Despite Dojo Warnings sent to his Private Message as well as brandings made to his Public Log, attacks were continued to be made.

After much deliberation between Chief of Staff *Ibruzu* and myself, and a consultation with Calyx of Isis via OtherRealm means, it was decided that Blood Princ would be made an example of and banned.

The Dojo works because the Magic Duel community works together with the Dojo Staff and Trainees to ensure that the Marble Dell Park is a place where players of all mind powers can train with each other.

This Banning is a new tool Gifted to only a select few senior members of the Dojo. This is the first time it has been used and it is the hope that this will be a deterent to other players to learn the Dojo rules and know what the consequences may be if they blatently attack players. It is our hope that this Tool will not have to be used again.

alternate idea:
the white orb is the shades natural enemy, and is out to get Peace

since she died, Peace has left the realm of 'living beings' (whatever this means in these days of utmost stupid creations runnign around the realms) and turned into a shade like Khalazdad, with the option to return to 'our' realm in a body and turn into a half-shade by the force of her and her friends' spirits, as anything you believe into can become real in MD.

the Orb, who already absorbed Shade Sentinel, is now out to get the the latest Shade, Peace, and vanquish her shade-part forever in a white cube (why white, not black? because shades are not dark, just different, and in their essence, they could as well be white as black or purple) like he did with the Sentinel.
This idea is backed up by Khalazdad's white cube, where parts of his soul were imprisoned while he was the Black, cubes can contain souls, life, spirits, whatever you want to put into them.

so i guess the Orb sensed Peace with its predator skills and is now on his way to Peace to get done with her and the shades in general unless someone does something against that.

i would therefore suggest that you find a way to resurrect Peace ASAP, cause if the orb acts in the way i described, Peace' soul might be lost forever if the orbs gets her before we do.
The Golemus Wizard knew how to drag spirits from other realms into ours, for instance, which might be helpful in this case...
but idk if there are people left who know how to do that trick, 'cept for Akasha maybe...

or maybe a sacrifice will be needed, like in the instance at the House of Liquid Dust...

but of course that's all just theories, and it might work in totally other ways XD

i like the armors now, before the change it was really easy to create god-modding mp3 with giving them the medusa- or sun-god-set (which is really easy), now they'll at least have to work for their stats =P

the armors were overpowered for mp3 and underpowered for mp5, now they are balanced, the better you are, the more you can gain from armors...
and no-armor finally makes sense

i understand that stat-wise weak players are annoyed now because they got a lot of boni taken from them all of a sudden, but it's a lot fairer now imo ^^

i use to make a difference between the persons grinders and the hardcore-stat-farming grinding
for the mindless fighting machines and stat-gainers(*cough* eigger *cough*), the easy time is over, but what grinders stand for [in fact, rather what dst stands for, the term was created for her in this game] is something else: it's the ability to adapt to situations and make the best of them, while the not-grinders are constantly complaining about something that doesn't fit their own plans...

so, i agree, the grinders are still there, but the grinding-business where everybody could participate, that is over

oh, and don't misunderstand that: the best Role-Players are grinders, people who can take what they have and improve it in every aspect, instead of making up horrendous things just to have an easier time with their role =)

Angiens aren't MP3 critters anyway. The requirements could be -200 Ve and -200 Vp and they still wouldn't be MP3 critters. Also Angiens give Vp when saced? I guess I can't say as it's a spoiler? But it's pretty obvious if you have one, and I understand the issue of handing them out. Personally I offer critters if people become my adept. No worry there though, as it hasn't happened yet. Maybe I should stop offering complimentary organ removals?

Maintenance postponed for 6 july. Tomorow 1st july is Canada day (so i heard) and level2 tech support will be away for a week, so its better they won't do this today then dissapear for one week, if something happens is better they will be there to assist. Sorry for all the trouble.

Site will be down for several hours while server is beeing upgraded to a 64bit operating system.
Backups will be used to restore md and a lot of settings will be different. Expect errors and weird behaviour once it is back up. I will try to fix them as soon as possible and with minimum "damage".

At first everything will be installed only on one HDD then if its allright it will be mirrored on the entire array. If something goes bad the downtime will be longer. If everything goes smooth site should be up in a few hours and will finaly take full advantage of the entire 8Gb ram and not just half of it.

I will keep this post updated.

Why do I feel the need not to agree with you?
For a grinder there are always ways. As long as there will be battles in which stats count (ok...nowadays principles count) there will ALWAYS (Coca-Cola ) and I say ALWAYS be griders.

I'm not in an alliance due to the cursed downsides. However, the fact that the attack cooldown is 40 minutes doesn't help alliance members and hurt non-allies, it hurts everyone. That is the main reason that I don't want to be in an alliance, I WANT to be attacked every 8 minutes. And as I said, almost all MP5s are in an alliance. It may be that it's a privilege and not a right, but if that's the case it's a privilege everyone and their alt appear to have. (Though a lot of alts aren't in as that would defeat their purpose.) As for the honor deal. It serves no purpose other than to annoy people. Should alliances have advantages? Sure, better stats, people to work with, RP purposes. They have advantages.

Oh, and one more thing. Alliance members can't attack each other. That makes alliance training rather difficult. But they can attack allied alliances. I understand that loyalty/honor issues would come up if members of an alliance are able to attack each other. It doesn't make sense for allies to get honor/loyalty for attacking each other. Unless you say that training with a fellow warrior is both honorable and loyal (which it kind of is). But lets face it, walking isn't terribly loyal. Neither is attacking allied alliance members, or atttacking non enemy alliance members for training. Heck, I'd call that dishonorable and unloyal from a realism standpoint, that's how wars start, and frankly, attacking a member of another alliance unprovoked. (Ok, clearly that's not the way things work here. But let's face it it's certainly not loyal or honorable either.)

Hmmm... Probably you only read the first post Sparr? Or perhaps you disagree that not being able to be attacked often is a bad thing. Heck, if it's a benefit, I'd like to be able to opt out. As for the honor, you get honor equal to double the loyalty you receive from alliance battles.

It is possible to have energy without invariant mass: electromagnetic waves have zero invariant mass. (Visible light is nothing but electromagnetic waves with wavelengths within the range we call the visual spectrum.) The way relativity works anything that moves at light speed must have zero invariant mass and cannot be slowed down (in vacuum), while nothing that has an invariant mass greater than zero can be accelerated to the speed of light.

Quantum mechanics allow the laws of physics to be ignored for times that are smaller than can be detected. (Heisenberg uncertainty formula, which is of the form: delta E * delta t <= Planck's constant)
A practical use of this is scanning tunneling microscopy.

Subatomic particle physics allows certain conversions of energy into matter and matter into other forms of matter. There a couple of invariants like in chemistry: energy (or mass, using E=mc²), momentum, angular momentum, baryon number, charge, color charge... Using those rules it is possible to list a number of decays that happen in the universe.
As an example: a photon (pure energy) of 1,02 MeV can decay into a positron and an electron, which each have an invariant mass of 0,51 MeV. The positron is the anti particle of an electron and has the same amount of electrical charge, yet the opposite polarity. In the vicinity of a black hole, it is possible for one virtual particle to fall into the black hole and the other to continue its existence outside of it, thus becoming a 'real' particle. The black hole can loose mass when anti matter that is created in such a process enters the black hole, and the equivalent mass in matter escapes from its gravitational pull. For an observer it appears as if the black hole is emitting electrons and slowly loosing mass, without any violation of energy/mass conservation. This is Hawkins' Radiation.

I know what he wanted to do (win HC).
I know that he didn't wanted to use his main char (just as many other alts won before).
I know that he had a REALLY STRONG policy on not using his alts.

But what I don't know is ... did he gave heads from his main char to the another ?

What I really don't know is who was pissed on kask winning this HC ? We all know that above this "alt abuse" that we hear more and more , there is another kind of abuse : power (no quotes here).

I know what I know, I know what you say, I know the guy and I play this game for quite a while. So, until I see some real evidence that he helped this kask char with his alt ... I consider him NOT guilty.

PS: the only mistake I see here is that he tried to win HC on MP5 (and not MP3 as other alts).
