Although I must admit I admire the fact that you think like a true politician by adding the aforementioned stipulations on something you know will get voted on, I cannot let this slip by undetected. I think if you truly feel Yrth deserves those things removed, and punishments doled out, then you should call for a seperate vote on whether people think it was wrong, or not, or if it was within his power to do said things, because in my eyes these are two seperate issues. Just for the record, though many of you may consider me one of the main GG people, I think he is refering to the alliance people and Grido. First you, and now him? how does that help ANYTHING? Just because you felt personally affronted does not make it right to call for an exile of the king. Perhaps the people find him unfit to make their descisions, but that does not make him unworthy to be an asset to GG. Why not try to better GG? it's like killing the patient to cure a disease. As for what Peace calls out for, that makes sense, Yrth is not of Necro and has affronted them in horrendous ways, but c'mon, think rationally, and make practical descisions... I think if Yrth were exiled from GG it would be no better than what happened to you, except done in a more bitter fashion. I say even if he is dethroned he deserves a place in GG, as do you Grido. Perhaps you two don't see eye to eye, but if everyone thought and felt the same, well then life would just suck. I personlly have no qualms about the leadership, but as MB stated death holds a different meaning in MD and such we cannot assume once someone is in power they will hold power indefinately until it is convenient for them to leave. I have no problem with the way things are being run currently, but this falls onto the people of GG to decide. Do I think Yrth was rash? yes. Do I think Grido was rash as well? yes. Still, however that does not change the fact that there will be a vote regarding this. As for the name, appearantly a lot rests in a name... think about how a name indicates how someone will act. If I came in claiming to wish to be a dictator and rule the land, it would have a different conotation then if I came in saying I wish to preside over the land as a lord, one which looks over an area of land and insures it's well-being. And Peace, as far as that goes, she isnt being called to step down, and whether she did worse things than Yrth is hardly pertinent to THIS situation. People have preconceptions on how their leaders should act, and if the leader fails to meet those preconceptions, or exceed them, then they most certainly should have the right to be able to dethrone them. As for a more democratic GG, it sounds promising to me. As I said I will stick by GG for as long as I'm here, and I will try and do what is best for it's people. If they decide they feel I would be the best suited for the job, I am presenting the option, and notification that I will take such a place and will gladly see GG into a new era. Y'know what? I have decided... if the people truly want yrth dethroned, then I feel I will run for canidacy... I'm tired of waiting for my role in this world to come to me, and I will step forth and put myself front and center. If Yrth gets deposed as king then I wish to run in any forthcoming election. Yes, that's right... but know that if such events were to happen I would make Yrth, as well as Grido my advisors. As far as MB is concerned, he is as faithful to GG as anyone, so I feel he should hold a place of power as well, just what position he wishes to play is up to him, should and if i were elected. Many people do not agree with what has happened... and while that is their opinion I must respect that, and I must stick by my land. I have always been for GG and will always stand for the betterment of GG, ALWAYS! If this means I must give up my faction, well that is unfortunate, but I have waited for months now, and still here I sit, so if Yrth get deposed as king I plan to step forth into the canidacy. If I still get to run such a faction, then excellent, it's something I've desired for some time now, but I wish to benefit all of GG, and I cannot wait for something to fall on me, I must seize what is presented before me, and make the best of any situation, as a pirate I see little other recourse. I do not, however, wish to be called a king, should yrth get deposed, I do not wish such a title, rather I would prefer Lordship over GG... looking for it's best interests, and not ruling with an iron fist, but rather one who consults his people and acts accordingly. I am not saying Yrth was ever wrong, because in my eyes he wasnt, nor was Grido, in fact they are perhaps the two that know GG best. Actually the king must be removed during, or prior to a new leader being seated... it would be awkward having 2 kings of GG or something of the sort. Who is to say a king can't be removed? I suppose one could be king of nothing, and nobody, but that's hardly a king. Again, I'm not for any side in this debate, but if the people do not follow their king, and do as they please without regard to him it can hardly be said he is king, save for in title alone.

making a mechanical device isn't hard, mostly it's just gears, bars, pulleys, levers, things that regulate movement... the real problem is finding a source to power them and applying it... I could give out some suggestions, but I'd rather not.
