A couple of issues has arisen that needs to be addressed. Several Dojo Staff attending the Dojo at once has made for confusion of who has the floor (or authority). From now on, when Staff members or trainees enter the Dojo ask out loud: [b]Which Staff member present has the Floor?[/b] Once that staff member is identified, all other Staff members are to be attentive but quiet. Several voices talking at once only confuses the players and causes Chaos. If you are addressed by name, then answer the question and only that person. If for example, XinHun is asked a question by a player, no one else is to interrupt until XinHun is finished. If you have something more to add, only then should you do so. When you plan on working the Dojo, ask the above question (all staff and trainees are to write down who is a fellow member). When no one answers, introduce yourself to the players formerly: [b]My name is King Bull. I am Dojo Staff and I will be your Host.[/b] Once committed, do not leave the Dojo without giving notice to the players present. For example: Real life interference, inhabitant needs. If you need to leave and other Staff are present, ask a fellow Staff member by name if they will take over your duties. If no one is present, then briefly go over the rules again before leaving. If you have YIM, and staff are online, arrange ahead of time to be relieved. With these guidelines, I hope there will be less confusion and a smoother running Dojo.

When a staff member is on duty, their purpose is to serve other players. Their main one is to send out a phrase: [b]*speaks firmly* [/b]This is a Dojo (School). Please get permission First before attacking other players. Click on the black/white sign to your right for more info. Depending on the Staff member, either the first part will be in [color="#0000FF"]*Blue*[/color] or they will have the whole phrase in Blue. This is meant as an attention getter to those players at the Dojo of the rule. Every time the screen scrolls and the phrase disappears, it is put up again. Annoying as it is, the Staff are required to continuously put it up [b]because new players come in and out of the part every minute[/b]. While players sitting at the Dojo have seen it several times, a new player may walk in (a new mp3 for instance) and attack without warning. As discussed in a previous thread, when you are attacked in the Dojo you only need to say: "I have been attacked by <insert players name> without permission" Dojo staff are trained to send a private message to the player quietly. [b]Welcome to the Dojo (School) You attacked in the Marble Dale Park without asking first. Please familiarize yourself with the rules there on the little black and white sign to the right as you enter through the gates. We want your game play to be enjoyable as well as other players. Your Public Log (L box) on your profile will be branded as a dojo attacker. If there are no more attacks; all branding by Dojo staff will be removed.[/b] [b]What is a Branding?[/b] When a player attacks in the dojo, the players Public Log (the L Box) on their profile is opened: Attacked in the Dojo [date, time, name] Or Repeat Offender Repeat offenders are then given a second Pm: [b]You have been accused of attacking without permission in the Dojo. There is no attacking players in Marble Dale Park without asking for and RECEIVING permission from the players you wish to attack. Please learn and abide by the rules posted in the sign in the Dojo. If you attack without permission again, your public log will be branded with the tag: Repeat Dojo Offender and you will be watched. Severe consequences will be applied to you if you continue to attack without permission inside the Dojo.[/b] Calyx of Isis, *Ibruzu* and I then have a meeting and discuss names of repeat offenders, last time they attacked and who is the worse offender. Most times all it takes is a meeting with the player. However, a new tool has been given to the Dojo that has not yet been used. It is a last resort when all other actions have been taken. It is our hope that through education and community effort that it will stay a last resort.

Scene: You are in the Dojo in Marind Bell Park. You know the rules and observe them. Suddenly, you are attacked without being asked first. [b]What to do?[/b] Say in the chat area: "I have been attacked by <insert name> without being asked." This will signal Dojo Staff and their trainees who then will respond as they have been trained. [b]What to do when there is no Staff Member on duty?[/b] A. Yell at them angrily B. Follow them out of the Dojo and attack back C. [b]Send them a PM and politely point out the rules and the Sign[/b] D. Both A and B [b]A Repeat Offender Has Attacked Again![/b] A. See A and B above B. Use the Red feature that Says: Mass attack <insert name here> till dead. C. [b]Get the name and the ID number of the attacker and PM to Calyx of Isis or *Sagewoman* or *Ibruzu*[/b] D. All of the Above The Dojo is not a perfect system. It is constantly shifting, moving, and evolving. New mp3 players enter MagicDuel and some Mp4 have forgotten and need their minds refreshed. The Community working together with the Dojo Staff can make Marind Bell Park Dojo work.

The Dojo is a school and while there is a sign on its policy it cannot be strictly enforced. Not every player knows the rules and there will always be those who really could care less. The best thing for you, as a player, is to develop your army. Open your creature page and click on each one and get to know what it can and cannot do. Write it down in a notebook along with each update. Develop defense rituals and make sure you have more than one. Do not heal your army while you are out in the open. Go to Winds Sanctuary, Beserkers Way, Paper Cabin, Fenths Press, and Fenths Wielder to heal your creatures. You cannot be attacked there. [b]I am sure I left out places of Sanctuary, but you get the idea.[/b] Remember, the whole idea is to Win AND Lose.

Maybe a couple of screen shots of ONE creature and its evolutions. Show that its actually a virtual chat room. Rent a digital camera, grab some friends, make a mini movie. Use your Imagination! Heck, open MD and have one shoot over your shoulder when you play. Don't edit your reactions....except maybe the swearing.

So far there is no time limit on this contest. However, that could change if suddenly there is an influx of submissions. What I am looking for is screen shots of SOME scenes in the game. Perhaps of what a battle looks like. Heck, copy n paste some of the avatars and do a finger puppet show! Just make sure you have Magicduel.com in the beginning and end. Just DO! Their son's name is Arion Ibruson and his first stats are: Weight 9 lbs, Height 22 inches long. Arion Ibruson does have an account with Magic Duel but is not a member of the Alliance or Guilds. Loreroot does not have an off topic section an so this is where this will be for now.
