[font="Lucida Sans Unicode"]So, I was reading the forums in order to learn more about the world of MD and sudenly I came to realization that I have never said "Hi" to you all here. So, well, a bit late but from the heart regardless, here is my "Hello!" to the fine people in this community.

But I would also like to use this oportunity to say few things to those that wonder/are interested in and so on, regarding my two characters Lady Dawn and Lady Dusk, in order to calm your spirits just a little bit.

First let me assure you, that with Dawn and Dusk I am not trying to unbalance anything in the lovely world of MD. That is one of the reasons why there is not just Dawn but also Dusk. I have a fairly worked out concept of these two characters and that concept is in no way coliding with the concept of MD, its history, its inhabitants etc. It is independant one and has no more effect on the world that was created before I made them as if they would be named Lady Kylie and Lady Eilyk, if you understand my point. The concept of them both shall be explained sometime in the future when I will deem it right to be told. But both of them shall have its own story also (about their so-called previous life, out of the MD world), wich will explain why they act as they are. Nothing that they say or do is without a reason [i](rp-wise, that is)[/i]. So with a little bit of patience, I will explain everything regarding them.

I am very grateful that Lady Dawn was welcomed as she was. But now there is also Lady Dusk, wich, at this time looks more like a random character acting "stupid". I have a plea for you: give her time. Take into account that you know almost nothing of her, yet.
She "droped" into this world with only one single objective in her mind: hunting down her sister and destroying her. But as much she hates her, she is also completly lost in this world, not knowing where to turn, who to trust as she knows that her sister (Dawn of course) came to MD sooner.
Lady Dusk is at this time scared, confused and blinded by hate [i](there is a good reason for her hate also as you will be able to learn a bit later on her personal pages)[/i]. She walks the roads that she doesnt know, she find herself in a world that she, at this point, dont understand. She feels that she "landed" in enemy territory where the rules of other world [i](from wich she came)[/i]apply.
So her acting may appear random, hostile and so on. But that is not how I plan her to stay. She is in her metamorfosis stage, so to speak, and even if it doesnt seem so, she learns a bit more of the world with each passing day. In order to change, to grow, she must learn.
I understand if you find this to be odd way of doing it, but please do keep an open mind for a while and let her to complete her transformation into what I plann her to be.

Creating a brotherhood is a nice idea but having little ideas is not a good one. First of all, as far as I know, When creating a brotherhood or a group, That group must have a mission/Vision or something and most especially the Goal of that group. Questions may arise like, What benefit will the players have if they join the group? What will they gain from joining such group? What does the group stand for?

Camaraderie and friendship is mostly one of the benefits you get from joining any group. But its not enough to create it. What factors does the group have that players might get interested in? If you have answers to these questions and post it in here, players can see if your Brotherhood will stand a chance to be formed, I guess.

Due to a significant amount of people not being able to attend, the rules will change:

You must give your gift through PM to your secret reindrach, then write something about him/her (anything you want: what you think about that person; wish something good for the new year; etc) to send along with the gift.


What about the gifts?
No restrictions at all, you can give a cookie, coins, creatures, wishpoint codes (wow!), anything you want! (They can be

RP'ed, you don't have to give something tangible!)

55 for 100 bucks? no way thats way too much, but then again 15 is too low.. it doesnt covers transfer expenses, 6 months ago i paid 80 and got 100... so it aint logical to me.. but maybe it changed, anyway best thing to do is pm mur about it and ask him

like chewett said, Its a Game problem, not a browser issue, the error comes up and that stops it giving you the correct Ve/vp.

and like i said, it only heavily affect non-upgraded(lvl 1) creatures, other lvl is working fine for most of the time.

and back to what chewett said, there is nothing we can do about it till it is fixed.

ok, so what is the guy saying, that knowledge is created through questions?

Q: What is he selling?
A: His book, and implicitly his "new" gimmick, which is just a fancy way of brainstorming/mindmapping/whatever. Possibly "innovation" services/trainings for corporations, especially if he manages to create enough interest to get published anywhere good like the Harvard Business Review. That's what marketers do, mate. 2 years down the line he'll be selling another "system" and doing the whole "CEO training circuit" again.

There, I created some knowledge myself! Though it's prolly "known" already. Then again maybe the big ol' corporate world made me too cynical

The website talks about creation. Creation to me is the taking of what exists and adding a part, be it tiny or large. I've found myself sometimes struggling for something entirely original, but I realize that it's impossible or in the very least improbable. No one works in a void, and it's impossible to influenced by things around us, whether we try and avoid it or accept it.

Also, I'm not sure why the author of the website is spending so much time diagramming and attempting to put into words and equations "knowledge." Not that I think it's a total waste of time, but surely this time could be better spent creating said knowledge?

In my own opinion, the source of all knowledge is curiosity. We as humans always seek something of interest, and we are always able to find ways to gain information about a specific thing whether it is abstract or concrete.

Knowledge is everywhere, it could be in your room, your office, your book, or even under your pants. But one cannot have the ultimate knowledge of all things when talking about evolution of our knowledge, you can't have knowledge of all things on different infinite dimensions and realms that are existing right at this moment, every tick of time on your wristwatch holds a different number of events in different places, planes and times. Knowledge about past, present and future are pure infinity, and all the things beyond our plane of understanding is pure randomness. The very minute spurr of our curiosity triggers the creation of knowledge, thus I must say, we ourselves are the creators of our own knowledge and perception of all things that surrounds us. Knowing [b]all[/b] things could make one insane, even a very huge capacity hard disk that can hold decillions and decillions of terabytes of informations about all the existing and non-existing things cannnot withstand the vastness of all knowledge.

It is clear to anyone with the ability to comprehend the English language that Firsanthalas is directly involved in this situation. It is his "buisness," and he feels that you, redneck, are in breach of a contract of sorts. It is fully within his rights to inform others of what he feels has been perpetrated by a charlatan.

On the contrary, Firsanthalas has complete and total dominion over the land known as Loreroot. Redneck, by your application to join the Guardians of the Root, you willingly placed yourself within his jurisdiction and sovereign control.
He is quite different from other players and will have abilities beyond theirs.


Furthermore, your subsequent posts have not addressed the issue that Firsanthalas has with you: the non-return of a payment given to you in good faith as part of an agreement you made with him or another affected party. You have resorted to pathetic insults and are behaving as if you were the wronged party here, which you are not.
Your behavior is, as another stated recently, 'childish and annoying.' It would be within one's best interest to either avoid you entirely or be extremely cautious in his or her dealings with you in the future.

I have no issue with the skill damage
but that may be because for most of my time on md i was
always ballanced. In saying that while i am not in an
allaince i did loose my ballance. but hey it happenes.

But why was skill damaged brough in?

If i remember it corectly (i could be wrong in this)
i beleve it was brought in because of the aboue of
beeing very unballanced and fighting player whom
kept there ballance. From what i remember this gave great
stat increases and honor bonus for thoes with major losses.
This was beeing aboused some what from what i remember that is.

So the stat damage was put in place to stop that issue and to
stop the abuse of stat gains. so why should it be removed
it is YOUR responasablity to keep YOUR ballance. that is what MD revolves
around BALLANCE.

So i say keep the stat damage it is there for a reasion.

That is just my 2 cents on this matter

yeah why not, 1 wp per 365 days why not, its symbol of loyalty to the game, aha... reach 1 year with bunch of alts.. right.. even if somebody does it i dont see problem, wps arent transferable, so i dont see how this could be abused :s

hehe i always wanted to open this topic but it seems i was too late since mur has 4k every1's principle. what my idea was to make tokens a percentage of our stats.. since all of us are just stat grinders won't every1 be happy ? its something like how Armour works now. but abit more percentage.


don't worry i don't want to try implement this, i just wanted to know if people liked the idea.
