Thanks ever so much for your reply, it makes some sence to me, im so pleased that someone has taken the time to reply. im going to play devils advocate and argue with ya though Time in MD does the wind blow, do the seas move, where are all these animals, such as knators which hunt around loreroot and the wilderwilds that nest about Marind. When you get on the boat at Angiens ferry, does the boat move? i can understand what you are saying, your right, when the lands of the east entrance was "discovered" there was no "portal" there, and with care the plants grew into the portal. Please can you give me all the other examples You know of events being changed by US. The trees you plant, will they grow? The only thing i have seen "moving" in MD is when bob the tree blooms. Are we to imagine time, that is a hard thing to do, There is a reason why the windmill doesnt move, but why does the waterfall in Golemus not flow? Or does it? I beieve we are presented with "snapshots" from a timeline in MD, this can explain WHY the boat "moves" in the ferry. One snapshot before, and one memory snapshot after. Dont get me wrong, these memories, like you say arnt "fixed" but then what is to say the changes that we can make werent meant to happen, or already have done in MD's tineline. Its just we can access all the possible timeframe possibilities. If ANYONE knows of other time the physical world we live in has been "changed" by us, please tell me

RP in MD By the time you have written it, it is done, it is written into the history of the "world" for 6 hours and into the active memories of everyone who enters and reads about that location. If this is done cleverly, people can influence others, express their views, or simply interact socially. All characters present, crafted into a history, a single event or snapshot that is to be remembered. By creating different characters, we can interact socaily in ways which we might not in real life. This is the way we can create good social memories, ones which are enjoyed and may be taken with us wherever we go. For example, Mur and his feeling about his Knator Commander. This RP world is seperate from others that you might experience. And everyone brings things to it, brings with them something unique. Whether everyone likes it or not this IS a RP game, and has been constructed so that we can exist in a world that is different from our own. Otherwise we might as well all be sitting in blank white all day. Making this world work 1. by creating a character - someone or something which others can either physically or mentally imagine, be this in actions(speech) or by thought (personal profile like) 2. maintaining this character in an effective way. its more effective to arrive in the same way every day then to not bother arriving at all. Be kind to people and not expect them to read your profile, but RP in a way which gives hints and clues without forcing them to look. 3.Acting realisticly - *picks up a boulder and smashes MD to bits* weve all seen it. *picks up a shovel and whacks it around his face until he dies* . do actions which might be able to be done quickly, such as flicking a pebble at someone, or stealing in for a kiss (not to be confused with windy unevadable Smooch fest ) otherwise give them to chance to react *throws a flaming rock at Z's face* is 10 times better then *smashes the flaming rock into z's face causing his brain to explode* You dont know if the other character doesnt want to get hit! BE POLITE! thats all everyone wants. 4.characters which are human - i know everything about you because i read your profile and therefore i know you. not realistic, just plain stupid, thats whyyyy i think sometimes people (and me whos very guilty) write WAY too much on it. whats the point in writing all thats stuff if it doesnt correlate to how you behave or people can even see a slight resemblance (ok bored now )

MD - our present By the time anything happens, it is done. It becomes past. Present is a collection of pasts when you sit and think about things. A second in time lost, never to be returned but never truely forgotten. Every second has its purpose, part of the day, year, and life of an entity. Present is a chance to write your past, create you past, and your history. Only in that moment can you say you truely exist, and it is in that moment which your past matters. and can be catergarized as a moment in time. Millions and millions of picture snapshots in only a few years of a humans life. Why are some of the "snapshots" remembered, why do you remember them? Do we actively remember all of our past somewhere, every second, every thought, to be used when it is needed? These hidden "memories" must occur without us knowing it, you might not actually "think" oh i wont touch that iron because it may be hot, this could be what people call "commen sence" and what makes wise people Wise. Snapshots of things which "stick out" in your past, memories. Maybe Md's snapshots, the world in MD we live in, (the 2d pictures!) are the bits which stick out in M'Ds past/life. Windows to its inner being and "secrets", one of the only ways to access information about what it means. Understanding the world we live in and its purpose. (how much MD is starting to parralel RL is kinda freaky...) Its is the only thing we can actually and phisically judge it by. (i think they are awsome for me for imagination purposes, a stimulous for differing attitudes and examples of behaviour which we may latch ourselves onto as RP characters. i mean think about all the TYPE of people you could be, even within strict "alliance" backgrounds and ideals. Thats why it is so interesting when different alliances and lands(snapshots) are created. i mean can you imagine. if MD was white, everything was white. BORRRINGGG i woudnt be able to make a character out of nowhere and role-play it, it would have NO purpose unless we were able to create a "world", a fantasy guideline for how all of our characters should interact (gamesmaster ) and well Mur you are the ultimate gamesmaster and have Good help from people who help "guide" the game, a lot of the dedicated veterens who i get on with.) But what can these snapshots tell us, these 2d pictures of MD, why do they exist? why are they chosen to be Remembered? I dont know. But it works.

Everyone Loves Wishpoints. Its what sets characters apart, and one of the main ways that this game is Different from others. Something Hard yet possible to achieve by doing things other then point and click. I like the amount of wishpoints being kept low, as it makes you feel VERY happy when you get one, and makes a great reward for hardwork. I voted for None, shouldnt be given out for age and something else, i guess because i dont believe they should be given out. I agree with fenrir, that they could be special WP or maybe even a different name, and do a small selection of the things available to do, maybe be another factor in buying Advanced Wishpoint selections, like the 4 needed for clickables. Say they could be called Golden Mark's or somthing, and say for umm changing name location, you would need activity days "golden marks" as well as spent/unspent WP. They could be used like fenrir said, to make some options available, and others.. like Dream Joker and special things that are transferable not available that way. Also i like what Yoshi said, but instead of making One WP available after the shop is open, 60 days, have a one time special WP bonus, after another 40 days(100 in total), something the character can work towards after making the shop available. So when they realise what the WP are for, they could at least have 40 days, to search and gain one the normal way, by questing or debugging or whatever. And also take time to make the right decision and Know whats the best for them, instead of wasting it on something stooopid as soon as the shops open and regreting it. i think that like you guys said, New people might Need something to feel happy about at the start of the game, but im not taken in by that, i dont think that they will appreciate what it means to have one, if they can just get it by playing umm only "half of the game" and Not looking to play it in a creative, scientific, or something deeper kind of way, which i believe is what the game values itself on and makes it unique, holding a kind of mystery and intruigue which spell binds us and keeps us hooked. la la la so yeh um, KEEP wishpoints low petition group hiring now

I like to collect the creatures and love their upgrade levels becuase they look good, im interested to know how they change, coz they are really cool artwork, and enjoy seeing how they work in battle, but im only trying to level a certain creature right now which keeps me battling maybe that will change when i reach MP5 (eek, im dreading it when i do! gonna be principle rinsed....well not that it will effect me becasue i really dont know what all those tokens actually do, ive got. Think i only bought them because they look cool (except the green angien fart one ) i was interested in how they could change the battles, but its wayyy too complicated for me all the logs and stuff So yeh i only really wanna see the next upgrades of the creatures at the moment. Artwork for me brings a new part of interest in the game, with a kind of true lore. something akin to the location pictures for the land we live in gives us. something fact and concrete that we can access for clues to how the lands work and stuff , part of the md world which can be seen and experienced, and to get the new artwork you obviously need to fight and upgrade and be able to access all the areas within md, or do something special to get a drachorn, or tormented soul and like err Pokemon collect (yay! love it!!) I would like to be good at fighting for back up in RP (one day!), so that i can may escape the clutches of that horrible man Granos who is trying to taint me. I know it was good for ailith but... Just dont do it to me!!: when you pin me down and weaken me! (there IS something which i can use to get me away thankfully ........ even though it would be boring if i did it too often..!) i need to get strong in battle so that i could stop you going for me once and for all! Annnnyyway regarding other things i like to do, is rp, coz its rather fun way to get to know people but err yeh i try my best! Sometimes i meet people who are asking questions and making me think about stuff, and sometimes i come accross new and really interesting quests, fun but mostly a chance to get that elusive WP, im still soooo suprised there arnt that many in existence, hoping it stays a little like that! really fun to try and get one, unlock sooo many different things and places (artwork and knowledge!) ok...i could waffle on for ages about how everything i enjoy here interconnects, cant do one without the other kinda thing! Awesome!(the magics still very much alive for me atm ) DST you probably dont have any reason TO RP, if you are how i imagine, straight to the point with regards to "knowledge of the realm and how it can help us think about our own lives" some of us dont know what to ask! and feel we need reasons for things and not just accept it at face value(probably like yourself) and thats where for us RP comes in handy see if we can coax a starting point off from a few of the people in MD! i like to RP... um yeh, and i like to talk to peace about necrovion, but she is gone now, and she was my source of "magic" and something else in the game! The alliances have never bothered to show any interest in me i mean.. i sometimes ask about things, showing an interest, but im one of the hard ones whos gotta know Everthing before getting involved! too much hard work i say! some people "keep the dream alive" in a different way, i just need to spend a lot of time with people that do people who are willing and helpful to let me look further and deeper, and not just expect me to know everything! For me peace is paramount here. catching the tailend of khalazadhaddahhdhahzhahad (i cant spell it :S) i was interested by his quest to do with his ideas about how one, in his opinons, should fight in the desert and think about his reasons why. Also to study Rhajadharma, a very interesting and rewarding topic. This being on of the only face value topic i feel i has brought me into thinking about what i should be like in my own life, and "bridged" something between MD and my real life (i wonder if i can class writing poems in that also...md helps me to be creative!) Peace provided a quest regarding principles. This has single handidly been the only thing i have ever seen in MD regarding principles, in my eyes, and immediately got me involved, after pages and pages of notes i scribbled in my lunch break at work, i managed 4 out of the 12 questions of that section. An essay for each one, sooo many different principles were involved in some of them, all interlinked and affecting each other...not a simple task! Peace has provided so much time with me in the past, time to talk about what world we live in and how it works, more in an ancient lore type of way. So why do you think that the shades.... love it...though.. there is only One story/parable i fet i have understood of hers/khalazahahahfhdhas and that was by help of kittiness through a quest she was running! All the rest well....like i said i am hard work phantasm once sat with me at the path of lonlilness and chucked a stone whizzing away, then it kinda um flew straight back into it, and asked me questions about it, he made it really interesting! though i cant remember much now..was a long time ago Ailith, granos,raven, kittiness, pamplemousse, innocence, and a lot of others have all helped me think differently about different things for differnt reasons, a big part of my experience here And Zliepheir i feel i have learnt so much from him and bob, yet also feel i know so littler. i bleame it on the Brick wall stuborness zliephneir, peace and phantasm are the Only people i have found i think who have Actually had a conversation about things deeper in the game! (i know others do it with quests and very very clever/and fun stuff with quests, and others do it in a creativity exploration like with poems and things which "make you think" There needs to be more people like them, and especially the people who Talk about it when you are there. helping and guiding people gently allowing them to grow independant thoughts and to discuss. These are the people we need to help "bring the magic" back into MD. Maybe i havent spoken to the right people...but i mean i Have been playing for a while now, youd think if it was important, someone may have approached me, seeing i was curious! We all need to be more interested in the err "lore" of the land, the artwork (/pictures/visual gold for conversation starter by the way!) and starts to get others interested! including me! because i will need all the help i can get now peace has gone (yay im getting negatives! bug off!)

hmm i voted for a particluar person, Grido, pample, inno, Z, these are all sensible people, who are on a lot, it doesnt matter to me who does it. i have my 2 bad entries, Creep and Stalker. and i dont feel it has anything to do with my character and is something personal, for someone who really doesnt like me and wants to flame me in public. Now its fine to have them on there, im not too bothered becuase others know im not like that. But um.. if i WAS a stalker.... that would be a different matter. I know one person, who has LOTS of negative remarks against her name... I suppose it has to be a conversation between the PLM (player log moderator, and the parties involved)

Hello. I remember khalazhadadydahdhahdhdhddlalzlalahd had an article regarding desert warfare. how one should be swift and changing like the sands of the desert. It was a very interesting article, i think you could ask Peace or Kittiness whether they have any information regarding this. i wrote my own essay on this topic combined with Rhajadharma or the Kings Laws, but i dont think i can speak about it as it is only theory based on Khalalazadhahhsslald "findings" I would like to attend and listen to such an event but with Asterdai's lack of military training i doubt he will be of much use, he would just like to listen.

Fenrir, you really dont get it do you. i dont know the history very well, but i know this much. The N word, was a derogatory word then. And to use it nowadays is Disrespectful. Whether it is ok to use it in your small circle of friends or not.It is not accepted and shows that you do not care for the bad things that happened in the past. like you are doing by not actually saying it, show some respect and never use that word. its not about anyone else. its about you and YOUR respect. It is similer to the SEX RP posts that are going around at the moment. You may find it ok to say... *lifts up his loincloth and rubs his "c..." against fenrir* in the player log. but anyone else seeing something so...explicit.. might not be so impressed.

i think Z is right We may never know what to put in a player log..but we can make a sensible judgement. It doesnt matter if the person is a friend and they allow you to call them Stupid things. EVERYONE reads the player logs. You have to remember that when you decide to make negative remark. For the minors or whatever. You are responsible. (oh and fenrir, WTF are you chatting on about?? no dont answer that..i dont wanna hear it)
