First thing, as mentioned above: Why does the land need to have an alliance and why can´t it still exists in this way without one? Where is the king of Necro? Why should the land be punished or changes for something technical.

How about the "established housings"? Will you "close" the path of loneliness then? What will happend to Bob if the alliance disappear on day?

That´s just a forced social pushing from my point of view. As Burns already mentioned too, some things are bound to this game.

This is based on the idea that an alliance defines the land. Which is not the case. Dst conquered an alliance, nothing more.

    Chapter 1

Today, an odd wind blew into Magicduel, one that I had not created. Trouble is brewing...
Deep down in the bowls of Magicduel, he sat brooding in his laboratory, plotting his wicked deeds and down right nasty schemes. If he wasn't puttering about with his Alchemy doo-dads, he was experimenting with herbs, spices, and other noxious, toxic, and gooey things.
The arched door to his secret hideout was old, as old as the tunnels beneath Marind Dale Park. There were two intricately carved bolts, inset with oblong shapes, that seem to lock the door shut from inside the tunnel. In between the bolts was an inset carving of a circle with swirls that abutted against a split center piece. The bolts cannot be moved, nor can the door opened by human hands. No one could open The Fateless Doors, but he.
He was brooding, muttering, sputtering, and running his hands through his long thin hair in frustration. “The Sisterhood! The Sisterhood! How they vex me so!” he ranted as he paced the floor, irritating the fire sprites in their brazer whenever he passed them by.
One of the fire sprites propped his elbows on the rim of the brazer and plopped his chin on his fiery fists. Normally it wasn't concerned about the comings and goings of the mad man. But there is only so much a sprite can take before curiosity gets the best of it.
“I say, Master? What is it about this Sisterhood, that you are going on about?” It asked curiously. “Have they harmed you, somehow?”
The man stopped in his tracks, startled by the sprite. “What? Did you say something?” He asked, vexed to have his rant interrupted.
The sprite leaned on one of his fists and walked the fingers of his other hand back and forth across the rim of the brazer. By then his brothers and sisters were curious too, each jockeying for position behind it.
“It seems to me, Master, that you are in one of your moods, which we find quite entertaining, but today, you seem madder than usual.” It blinked it's beady eyes at him.
“Well, if you must know, Sprite.” the man spat, as he continued to pace the room. “It's The Sisterhood that disturbs me! All this going about smooching every man they see in the realm!” He rubbed his fingers in a circular motion against his temples. “Think! Think!”
The other sprites shrank back in fear and ducked behind the first. They knew that no good came from ideas. Ideas demanded thought and thoughts were not good things.
The younger sprites chattered in fear amongst themselves. “The Master is quite mad!” One said.
    “He's always mad!” exclaimed another.
“Is that mad as in angry or mad as insane?” asked another.
“Don't be daft, idiot!” said the last and bonked his sister on the head. “He's totally insane!”
“Hush you little ankle biters!” admonished the oldest and shooed them away behind the red hot coals. He turned back to face his Master. “I don't understand, what is wrong with smooching? I don't see the problem here.”
“Don't you see? Can't your tiny brain comprehend? The Master shrieked. “I like kisses as much as the next guy! But turning in an application to make it a Guild and being accepted? Outrageous!”
“Oooh!” chimed the little sprites as they peeked out behind their coals. “A guild!”
“Oi! What's a guild, anyway?” asked one.
“It's an association of persons with kindred pursuits, interests, and aims.” said another smugly.
“Oi! How did you know that?” asked the first.
    “Oh, I read it somewhere.”
The first blinked it's beady eyes. “You can read?”
“So, it's like a club!” one of them answered.
“But isn't this Sisterhood, a club?” asked another.
“Bah!” The Master shouted, waving his hand in dismissal. “I tell you, what really irks me!” he continued, shaking his finger in their faces. “It's that bloody pub owner Windy! She started this whole “woman's club'!” He curled up his fingers in the air and scrunched them like punctuation marks. “Club my eye!” He barked.
He stopped in his tracks and stopped venting. A sly smirk spread across his pale face. A thought was forming and the sprites could smell it, even the oldest. With a yelp all of them dove behind their coals in fear and dimmed their flames.
He laughed and clapped his hands together and rubbed them briskly. He danced a little jig. A thought had formed and he giggled with glee. “I know just the thing to do!” He rushed over to an old cabinet and pulled out a dull yellow obelisk. It was two feet long and had striations carved in it's facade, and looked deceptively fragile.
“Oh Yes! This will do nicely!” The Master crowed. “Strange. I've never used a Memory Stone in this way before.” He shrugged and scurried toward his workbench. On a shelf above the workbench, he pulled down an ominous dark stoppered urn. He worried his bottom lip with this teeth as he poured the viscous contents over the memory stone, and an tincture of Liquid Dust. Perfect. He needed just one more touch to make it set.
He went over to the brazier and contemplated the fire sprites who had cautiously emerged from behind their coals. They blinked their beady eyes, not contemplating the danger until he reached in and grabbed one of them.
“Master! What are you doing?” It shrieked, struggling within the tight fist.
“Have no fear, little sprite. This won't hurt a bit.” The Master said calmly as he returned to the workbench.
The frightened sprite shook in fear as he realized The Master's intent. It was to be sacrificed, it thought. The Memory Stone was going to be its head stone. “No, Master! Don't do this!” It shrieked in fear.
“Oh for Goddess's Sake! Hold still!” The Master picked up a sharp needle and grabbed one of the sprite's little arms.” It's just a little prick, it won't hurt a bit! I even sanitized it!”
The sprite screamed as the needle pierced it's fiery skin, then watched in horror as a drop of it's fiery blood, dripped down onto the viscous Liquid Dust.
“There now. That wasn't so bad, was it?” The Master asked watched the drop of blood spread across the surface of the stone, sealing the Liquid Dust like a shell of an egg. It glowed an ominous red. The sprite fainted.
He looked down at the sprite in disgust and dropped it into the arms of it's brethren. “Bah! It wasn't even a big needle!” The Master threw on his cloak, carefully packed up the glowing Memory Stone into his satchel, and left the laboratory, the sprites fanning their fainted sibling; slamming the door behind him.

I agree, there is no alliance needed to "feel" like a true Necrovian citizen or you name it. But its kind of needed for ingame balance of game related features like wars, leadership discussions, further games , etc. In this aspect, we should ask if a disbanned alliance need to stay that way. Why can´t NC not simply build another one? you know, elections, politics etc?

Love to an object is none existant in romantic ways, it is a favour of something you like and to simply give it a expressiv of humans limited imagination of things, we call it "love". I so love my car!=means nothing more then I know it is mine, I like it , I like cars with this shape, the features are usefull, I know about its quality and so on. But in the end, its maybe only the same procedure of neurons etc. You get bound to something where you combine emotions and fact for your brain to remember this and save it. The more you combine fact with emotions the more brain activites will be triggered and you will start to empath something, you will "love" it. I assume that those connections stimulate brain increase and activity and when you lose that certain level you will suffer like from drug withdravel, therefore the lovesickness maybe?

Love can cause pain, but only as an activation of negative feelings, real pain (talking about body wounds) instead has always an event trigger (slice, blunt damage etc.) which stimulates your synapses with an electrical flow. So we have to seperate the pain you feel or might think you feel in your "heart" and "soul" or the body driven one.

Let me answer for the "if love is real and letting go etc" from my very personal point of view. I had a girlfriend quite long ago and I was really madly in love with her. We couldn´t become a couple because of some reasons and there was no right way to get this done. I was surely in the mood to die for her, for a last word of her, her eyes gazing upon me just to guide my way to Valhalla (or so). And I had to let her go because it was a deadend. But letting go is not a rational decision in this position, it is simply the realization that you have to give it up. So you don´t let someone go because you wan´t to, it´s because you know it can´t be done and you are giving it up. This causes horrible pain (this is the worst pain I EVER felt!) and therefore love and pain are for sure combined. Everybody who felt lovesickness will nod his head now. And I realized that both of those feelings just raised my understanding of how I feel love for someone or not. Both are necessary, sometimes you have to suffer to know, why you do so. But love and even pain still give you power to succed in things you never thought of. How about writing love poems? Mostly they aren´t written while you are in love, they are created because of your suffercation.

First thing first! If you post "what is love?" everybody is forced to answer - "baby don´t hurt me..." :)

Well love could be determined as a lie, as in fact it is only a neuronal action of chemicals and electrical stimulation of your synapses. Very romantic, isn´t it? But on the other hand, everybody, who really was mad in love with someone will always tell you that there is simply "more" behind it. A deeper feeling, from your insides and so on. For some love will never exists and for some the will say it is a lie as they deny this feelings because of bad experiences from the past. Maybe in the past people wanted to have manifestion for everything like death and love so they created Amor, Venus, Aphrodite, and so on. But I, for my personal point of view, would never compare the love of a hobby or an object with the emotional love to another beeing.

Blackwoodforest reacted to Azull in Necrovion and it's alliances
When I joined Necrovion there were two alliances in this land. The Necrovian Sentinels and The Tainted Warriors. The Sentinels were disbanded by a player during Jester's reign for much the same reasons TW are disbanded now. I never asked for the Sentinels to be returned. This alliance was the result of a covenant between humans and shades. It's destruction and subsequent lack of reactions from the shades was a symbol this covenant no longer exists. The only thing that remains is that humans are allowed to live in Necrovion. I feel the Sentinels should remain dead until such time a new covenant is made. (which seems unlikely to happen anytime soon) Of course there is a practical reason too. An alliance with that many seats is impossible to protect. And since alliance taking has become such a popular and in many cases easy to do hobby, why bother.   In August 2011 after Jester left Necrovion and joined SoS in the east, Tainted Warriors were  disbanded by a player who acted as Mur's cats-paw. A few days later the land was closed and we were left with nothing. But it didn't mean the end of Necrovian society. Quite the contrary in fact. Some time later the alliance was given back to us because of a wish rewarded in an unexpected way (ann. 2034). Over the past years it was taken from us twice more because of misplaced trust and treason. Twice we got it back by use of illusions. With Peace gone this is not an option now. But is that such a bad thing? We don't think so.    The Necrovian social and political structure we built is not defined by its alliance. In reality an alliance is a tool with a few useful features and a badge (of pride). Nothing more. I challenge anyone to prove me otherwise. Four years ago we made the foundation for this Necrovion without an alliance. Having none now doesn't affect us beyond the loss of a few gadgets. Necrovian society, or whatever colorful name one might prefer for us, still exists. Having no alliance doesn't change that.

Some people just do not have the time or drive to make quests. So if you have a quest idea and want it to be run, then I will do the work for it. For example making the storyline, entering it in clickies, coding it (if it is beyond my level of coding then I will find a coder), and etc. Pm me privately. You will get credit for coming up with the idea unless you wish to remain anonymous. This goes for the MD birthday and through out the year. This is not a limited time offer

In former times, as I recall, there has been only one (Peace) or two ..? known MP7s and they haven´t been any MP6s around because it was more a PWR role then a simply MP evolution ladder.

I always askedmyself why for e.g. Zleif never evolved to Mp5 and stood MP4, but today I understand. Its not your MP levels that makes your character, its your roleplay ability. It might supportt your roleplay in some kind of way but anyway, in the end there are simple game mechanics.
