  1. The point is the page is apparently misleading - they are expecting to be given a choice instead of GWI citizenship simply being taken away.
  2. New player Aksel (quite a reader) went to the alliance menu and thought he could change his citizenship by clicking some "drop land" button. (I don't see that button as an alliance leader). Newbies should not have that option, or more warnings, when they have no way to get into another land.
  3. New player Aksel points out that the menu structure shown, when reading the Intro Menu Tab at the top of the screen, is nothing like the whirly compass thing he sees now.
  4. New player Aksel tells me that when he clicked the link for terms & conditions when setting up an account, he got a blank page.
  5. I have it on solid 3rd-hand authority that there are no RP items that begin with X. Therefore, to get an X you'd have to con somebody into making a new RP item (e.g. xylophone) and that's not what this quest was about. Therefore, this quest is now officially closed. There is no reason, though, why you might not want to try it yourself for fun, or as a competition between friends.
  6. I dropped to MP5, then came back up to MP6. What I see when I click the menu on the right is below. I logged out and also went through a daily reward cycle. Neither helped. The link to view daily progress stats works fine.
  7. Congratulations to Elyssia for finishing the quest! Wishpoint!
  8. Of course not. But he did say the insanely difficult should be most rare.
  9. Say what? In my interactions with Mur, two principles have been made clear. There should be a range of wishpoints available from easy to insanely difficult. And secondly, every offer must be open to everyone equally. For me to deny MaGoHi a wp for finding a clever way to solve the challenge would violate the second principle. Bear in mind, this challenge sat on the forum for over a year without anyone even trying it (to my knowledge). Frankly, as a practitioner of origami, I saw it as a very simple challenge, designed to get people doing stuff with MD creatures and interacting with others -- in this MaGoHi succeeded. All MaGoHi's shortcut did was substitute a creative insight for knowledge of traditional origami techniques.
  10. No problem. This seems to have struck a nerve. Nothing like an enthusiastic discussion to liven things up...
  11. p.p.s. It has come to my attention there was some grousing about this award. MaGoHi had an inspired genius of an idea, eventually met all the requirements of the challenge, got political support for his idea from other players, and provided some serious entertainment on an otherwise dead day in the realm. If that's not worth a wishpoint, I don't know what is. I could hardly deny him a wp since he met the rules - THAT would be favoritism. If you don't like the attitude his RPing portrays that's between you and him.
  12. The first image below is what I have been getting 90% of the time I initiate usage, and 100% of the time when I get past step one (second image below), then click a radio button & execute today
  13. p.s. You couldn't use the same drach in permaquest drach as in the origami contest.
  14. My friend makes these little knit critters (more likely crochet). Make one of an MD creature, of similar quality and style, and earn a wishpoint! (No spherical creatures allowed, must have features). NOTICE: If you make a drach, you can't win both this and the permaquest about making a drach with the same style thing. (Let's show Seigheart how it's done!)
  15. Okay, mock, mock, mock. (Nicely played) MaGoHi is approaching wp status..... So, points for the inspiration, and points for getting together a political movement of support. And you have 2 followers.... However, "needs no explanation" is not "clear and concise" directions from MaGoHi, despite what Ledah chimed in. The last piece of the challenge, MaGoHi, is actually posting some sort of directions, beyond starting with a square piece of paper. IN THE FUTURE: A second wp is also on the table for the next person to complete the challenge but without using "crumple" or any other non-traditional origami operation.
  16. Today, the first screen MDS screen from my enchanted item appears only about 1 time in 10. Then, when I click a radio button and "do this" I now get the blank screen shown above. I've put the code on a stationary object in my test site, so low priority for me, but perhaps others have issues too?
  17. Let me clarify my concerns: 1) The rules clearly state that you must post directions for making your creature, and that somebody else must follow those directions and post the results. 2) The question of identity really comes when the person follows your directions and makes something that must clearly be the creature that you specified. If their result can equally be an egg of 3 different types, a morph, a shmsh darkling, or something else, then that's a fail.
  18. a) you have to convince a jury of your peers that this is definitely a particular MD creature. It looks like it could be any of several to me. b) This is only step one.
  19. I do think you'd lose the awkward menu stuff on the right if you do minus zoom at the browser level.
  20. I agree the out/idle buttons ought to be more visible, rather than less. The rest is so highly dependent on screen size (or even mobile ap). Seph - have you tried reducing screen size to see if any settings are more to your liking? (+ and - buttons top right of parchment and/or zoom in/out with browser)
  21. Have RP items you don't want? I'll give 1 sc each, regardless of what RP item it is, as long as my silver holds out. To this end, I am willing to trade a limited amount of gold, and/or gold/silver notes for silver coins. 15:1 exchange rate. {Actually need a fair bit of silver coinage....}
  22. I'll take a joker of any age, tokenized or not.
