I've tried to stay out of this..... but no. Windy's class ought to better be called "Practical Techniques in Sorcery that are Effective in the Realm." My forum thread on clickie programming for beginners might be "How to Summon and Bind Spirits using the Arcane Languange MDScript", but that begs an interesting point. This is a forum for talking ABOUT the game, and role-play HERE is discouraged. This thread has prompted me to review my point-of-view speech patterns regarding RP. I find I've been pretty consistent on the two extremes with my forum posts and my clickie quests. I'm pretty good at slipping on the persona of Fyrd when in chat, but I have a built-in excuse for blithering about other worlds given my character's dimensional travels and tendency to wander off into a dream world at the drop of a hat. Where I am falling down is talking ABOUT my quests while in-game. I am going to have to revise all my papers and polish things up a bit. So, some good has come from this thread, anyway.

I think the questions here are who and where, rather than how. The Wind and Rain Pub in Wind's Sanctuary used to be a hotbed of role-play, and there is a movement on to rejuvenate that. Futher up the road at Awiiya the tree, there is often discussion of stories. There are quests (my special interest), occassional planned events, and several times a year - festivals. Christmas really is a wonderful time. You just missed the 6th birthday party. ps - people will care more about your backstory when your character's action catch their eye...

Seig/BFH/Shem - let me know what transpires so that I can get the accounting straight. BFH and Shem offered to break down certificates into change for me/the team. Prince, Pipstick (and also Junior) have also offered that service.... so if they were to get notes, I would need the change to distribute ...

I think this is really going to make a mess, splitting up the gold notes like this. One person should handle this, to make change, and keep track of it all, and I think that should be me. I also am due a gold note personally due to the feedback prize. Please, please just send the FIVE gold notes to me.... There should be a fourth Darkling, going to Chewett. Also, the GG Drach Dragonrider7 is getting is as a team member, not as a Mod. But he does get one. [Edit - *Clockmaster* was NOT on Merry Devilers team in any event. Perhaps he is getting gold for some other reason.]

Emerald of MB is trying to also organize a recurrance of Poetry night. Coordinating/alternating with them would be a good thing.

My testing evidently occurred after the Birthday Festival, but before the gazebo was shut down. At that time, the older version of IE worked where the newer version of IE, even with pop-ups allowed, did not work. With the newer version, during the Festival, I could not see & use the activation light of the GoE when others or myself activated it.

7_quadraturemaintenancedoor_1 Is a LEFT turn on the map (moving toward's Knatty's House) but is a RIGHT turn in reality. Back-front is inverted in the classic confusion move, and the door could be on either side of the path, but this is a mirror-image reversal/contradiction.

There could still be prizes awarded by patrons of the arts - just not part of the official administration of the event. Shall we set a regular, recurring time, or a rotating schedule for time-zone issues?

An old computer I had with an old version of IE worked where my new computer with IE version 8 does not work.

The "which-direction, forward or back" thing is a cool way to get people lost, but the handed-ness of the turn is incompatible with the map. If the scene were to be mirror-imaged left-right it would fit with normal geometry. Now, maybe there is intended to be something special/magical about this scene, but it would be the first where the scene just does not match the map.

And so those big guys offering easy wins to train off of are building up their losses - and they will stop doing that if they need balance? Hmmm....

Is it possible you have some special characters in your e-mail that make it choke? You can create any number of free e-mail accounts through Yahoo, by the way....

fyi - every single one of the Lost Path visions has been successfully solved now, by somebody. They do all work - independantly confirmed.

You say "All gold bet must be paid within 24 hours of the contest starting" (silver too, I assume) I am in process of clawing my way to the East lands again, and I'm not coming back just for this! Where are you? And how do we know BHC has really started given all the mystery Mur is putting up around this?

Established Housings now appears as the first land and pushes the rest of the names down a space. GG is reported as being 14% in rebellion and Necrovion is no longer on the list. This is what I see from Wind's Sanctuary - presume it will be similar at other capitals.
