1.
I would be very grateful if I may join to jump... ~Sasha Lilias~
Sorry, didn't see the post. I'm looking for the PM alert box. But you're here now. Everybody else - FORUM PM, not post, if you want to jump to me.
2. First session score: *Clockmaster* 14 Rex Umbrae Killer 5 nadrolski 4 Jason V 3 Dokutaesu 1
3. This recurring event will take place whenever the Bunnies get annoying enough to pursuade a Merry Deviler to set snares out. The session will continue as long as necessary, and session scores will be posted here. ============================================== Official Rules: In this version of the popular game of Hangman, anyone from Team Bunny that guesses a correct letter gets a carrot. Anyone who guesses the right word gets all the remaining carrots. But a Bunny that makes any sort of wrong guess is snared, drops their carrots, and can't make any more guesses. Whoever gets to eat the most carrots, which happens between words, wins. [Clarification: Session score is running total of how many letters you got in each of the words during which you were NOT snared. - Fyrd.]
4. First Grades Posted: 114 (682 divided by 6) Maebius, Fire Starter, Samos, Duxie, Metal Bunny, and Ravenstrider.
5. This will take place several times - whenever the mood strikes a Merry Deviler to host really. Or is pursuaded to by Bunnies. ============= Official Rules: All good Bunnies need to go to school and learn their lessons. We start with the alphabet. When the teacher says "Begin!", all chat will be ignored except for Team Bunny members reciting a single letter of the alphabet. These letters must be in order, and no Bunny may say two in a row. If successful, every Bunny who participated in the final recitation gets a carrot. If humiliated, they must continue to try again from the beginning until they get it right. Several classes will be held during the Festival. In the end, the class that gets their carrots in the shortest time (divided by the number in the class) gets the reward of a really big carrot (metaphorically speaking). Best bunny class will be recorded here.
6. This challenge will run almost up to the end of the Festival. Work at your own pace as you map the new land. Post winning results here. ====================== Official Rules: Break up into smaller teams (warrens to you Bunnies) to compete. To explore the terrifying new spaces, Bunnies must link hands with players along a path through the scenes. The path must start at the Sun Temple Stairs and cover the entire new area. Each scene must be matched by a player, or players, wherein the total length of their names must match the length of the name of that scene (sandwiched inside the coordinates), or the sum of the digits of the coordinates if not named in text. Players get 4 carrots per player in the warren whose name is used at least once, 3 carrots for other names from Team Bunny, 2 carrots for other names seen at the festival, and 1 carrot for names not seen in a long while. Subtract from this a number of carrots representing the action points of the path taken (exploring is hungry work). Warren posting the best solution, including names and carrot count, wins, and get to eat their carrots. In case of ties, first post wins. And maybe we can find some really BIG carrots for the winners. [Clarification: When counting length of names, count letters, ignore spaces and other punctuation. - Fyrd] [Clarification: AP cost is the total of whatever it takes to walk the course you lay out. - Fyrd] [Clarification: You can use a player once per scene, but he only adds positive points once then. - Fyrd] [Clarification: Post your entire solution including scoring. See who can beat it. Fight among yourselves over who is right, and who emerges victorious. That's part of the challenge. - Fyrd.]
7. As head of the Merry Devilers, I have discussed with Metal Bunny our plans. We intend to proceed with team challenges in the new land forthwith, and expect Mur to interrupt this with periodic announcements of ceremonies and such - also here in the new land - which is east of the Tribunal. At 0:00 ST last night, we had major troubles with the arranged transportation. Some people eventually got the gates at GoE to work for them - I personally never did and joined those who walked. 81 ap per step through the Tribunal. I am about to take my first step into the new land - 12 hours late. I think it has to do with browser software edition and settings. For those of you who can get the GoE to work (instructions in the announcement), great. Those with spells, fantastic. Those with power-walks, great. Those in alliances can do "jump to leader". I offer the services of Legend Speakers to any unallied who wish to join LS, jump to the new land, and then drop again. I have limited slots and you will take a big, big hit in your loyalty score - I do need you to drop again right away to clear slots. But then if you're unallied, you probably don't care about your loyalty score. If you want a ride, just forum PM me [by clicking the email-link to the left]. Let the Festivities Begin! (Well, as soon as I get a shower, and so forth. You don't want this image.... never mind).
8. I have the ap, the explore points, and the codes right. I used to do this on my old computer. I am now running Windows 2010 or something like that. Gates don't work. Makes the new land thing a fiasco for me. Others are having this problem too. Any suggestions? Firefox might just be what destroyed my last computer, so don't suggest that.

10. Merry Devilers - check the schedule - state your availability.

11. Gone for a week and my mug is replaced by a curvacious bunny. Somebody has good taste.

12. http://magicduel.invisionzone.com/topic/9325-schedule/#entry81356 Mur and Lady Ailith, Above is a link to our working draft schedule for the 18 or so challenges we are planning. Also in the Merry Deviler's subforum is a discussion of what each challenge will be like. It is not clear to me at all what data you are requesting, what "samples" you want, or what sort of test protocol you are planning. Could you please clarify this? p.s. The Merry Devilers are of course still open to people who wish to be solvers, though it is a bit late to be coming up with new challenges. [Edit p.p.s. - Forum says Lady Ailith has not been online since March 3rd....]
13. I'm back. I did not remember a towel, but I DID NOT PANIC! I always knew I had 1/52nd ownership in a dozen towels on the other end of the trip.... My wife remembered hers -- I obviously married well.
14. Off exploring other realms and ancient history. See you all the 9th! The Lost Path Adventure has been refreshed, though the quest page entry may dissappear. If you send me PM's about riddles or questions, I will get them later. I hope the Merry Devilers will show their colors and carry on without me.
15. I appreciate your analysis - in particular I gained some GG insight. To extrapolate something you said - about MB being about individual spiritual progress - Necrovion does appear to be about social regimentation. I would refine what you said about Loreroot, MB, spirituality and nature. I think LR glorifies the spirit of nature, while MB glorifies the spirit of Mankind. I think MB seeks to tame nature, while LR worships it in it's wild state, perhaps tries to emulate it.
16. 5sc for a bp.
17. Found one. Please close.
18. Depends on BFH - I don't want to end up without a Santa...
19. Let me know your price if you're interested.
20. I think your exchange rates are off - but if you can get it, fine. I've seen the standard 5-credit package equated to 1 gc, so 1 credit = 3 silver. At your rates, you have to solve a puzzle to work out that three 5-credit packages buys 2 gold coins, and you'll never sell your odd ninth coin. Perhaps you can get single-credit packages, I've always seen bundles of 5. And no, I'm not offering, but maybe later....
21. I'd give my untokened santa to Phear for 2 gc, and give you 4gc for your santa. This is assuming Phear takes mine.
22.
Im sure both of these people will write a little bit about themselves here on the forum, so you may read a bit about them both.
If this has happened, I am having a hard time finding it.
23. Okay, everybody I'm aware of is in now. You should have access to the Merry Deviler's subforum under groups and factions. If you've slipped through the cracks or joining up new, let us know.
24. xp still showed up on fight screens as of yesterday...
