Fyrd Argentus

This is a nuisance with Bug Gardens.  It's a big problem with A Recurrent Nightmare.
Various things can cause a refresh to occur up to 20 seconds after the trigger.  This totally interrupts any npctalk dialog and makes a chaotic mess of things.
I'm thinking either all refreshes need to be cleared and resolved before the npctalk is entered, or delayed until after.  npctalks must not be interrupted this way, or all is chaos.

There is now a reset button for A Recurrent Nightmare.  It is a black rock in the lower left corner of the Howling Gate scene.
Using this will erase all status keys, but will not touch your resources, which are not taken until the end.  However this will let you go through the steps again, and if you wait for system resets before looking, you see can thus see all the text dialogs again, in order.
Once you actually finish the quest, it will disappear.
I hope this solves the issues, but if not, please let me know.

Technical note - most clickies will end by giving you an important multi-line text, then when you "move on" or such, they give an unimportant banal one-line text and do the clickie refresh in a couple seconds which flushes that final text box.  This is not to worry about.  Just filler.
Unfortunately, depending on where you came from and how fast you moved, it is possible to get a refresh up to 20 seconds after the LAST thing you did, which can seemingly interrupt the npctalk dialog.  If it aborted early, you can re-enter the dialog.  If it dumps you to MDScript but the clickie still appears active orange, please understand it did finish and you can just refresh the screen to get rid of the active orange.  All these clickies do have a normal function of MDScript, which is there if the npctalk finished normally.

We five took our positions and commenced the rituals as instructed.  Four were successful, but one was not.  As part of the rituals, we could not leave our stations without bolloxing the works, so we called upon Jak to come inside MB and help, where he discovered that the fifth station had been mistakenly identified, quickly performed the ritual and we were in!  
Or rather, using the controls at Wind's Sanctuary, we had locked ourselves in.  The mistakenly identified 5th station turned out to be an unopened door to secret places in MB and we continued to have difficulty opening them.  We thought perhaps that our lack of citizenship was hampering us.  Thankfully, Kets was finally contacted at this point, and we opened the gates to let her in, to help.  Unfortunately, many others had been alerted to our efforts and slipped in through the briefly opened gate to see what was up.
That's when our team effort began to come unraveled.  Each team member chased after their best guess as to how to open secret places.  I myself found myself nodding off and slipping into another dimension, so I can't really relate the final findings - and wouldn't if I could.  After a few hours, the effects wore off and MB was back to normal.  All I can say is that future attempts will be made, with even more preparation.  Will it be to Marind Bell again, or some other land?  Only time will tell.

I will endeavor to host at least one Improv Literary Session at either Fortune's Well or GoE at some time(s) announced each day of the anniversary - and could pop up any place or time if a crowd gathers.  Depending on how many people wish to play, I will offer some sort of literary competition, ranging from Hangman to Competitive Tale Spinning to Role=Play to group story telling to themed punning to improv poetry.  Winner of each such session will get 1 point for each opponent "vanquished".  Best total for the 19 days of the anniversary will get a wishpoint - other prizes will be awarded at my discretion (maybe more wp's if enough participate).
In addition, anyone may post a composition of any theme in this thread (or ask me to post it anonymously if you think that helps) and the winner by "up-votes minus down-votes" will get a wishpoint - again, I may award other prizes at my discretion.  Sharpen your pencils!
