In this quest, I want you to look for people, use the /seen command (for example /seen jakubhi).
Your task is to find 5 players who have been active a very long time ago. Each player needs to have 30+ active days. (to check this, you may use the /whois command). 
Scoring  - I am going to take the sum of the dates of your 5 players when they were active. The entry with the lowest total of the five people wins ! 
Example:
Person 1 - Last time was active around day 167 of year 17 ( 17 * 365 + 167)
Person 2 - Last time was active around day 100 of year 15 (15 * 365 + 100)
Person 3 - ..
Person 4 - ..
Person 5 - ..
Total ( ( 17 * 365 + 167) + (15 * 365 + 100) + Person 3 + Person 4 + Person 5) <- Try to get this as low as you can
Please, send me the list of your chosen people in a private forum message, DO NOT post it here. If the total for two entries is the same, the one who sent it to me has bigger score. 
I will be posting updates of the current submitted totals in this thread. At the end of the quest, I will also post here which people were mentioned, so their existence may be remembered.

Hint for the newer players: The old forum threads are a goldmine for forgotten names..

... as I have spent 2 wishpoints on Locate, and burned lots of memory stones for prizes. 
I had this initial reaction too, but between the advanced map and the "who's online" function, Locate has already been degraded in value.  (I won't even talk about A25 tools....)
Locate does give a path, and works even if the player has subsequently logged off, so you see the last place they were.  So there is still some value....  Also it gives coordinates rather than scene names, so if you don't know the names, it still is useful.
Besides, new players won't know and many of us forgetful old folks will forget, so these commands won't be used by anybody but veteran alert players.
So, I'm not worried.

I will endeavor to host at least one Improv Literary Session at either Fortune's Well or GoE at some time(s) announced each day of the anniversary - and could pop up any place or time if a crowd gathers.  Depending on how many people wish to play, I will offer some sort of literary competition, ranging from Hangman to Competitive Tale Spinning to Role=Play to group story telling to themed punning to improv poetry.  Winner of each such session will get 1 point for each opponent "vanquished".  Best total for the 19 days of the anniversary will get a wishpoint - other prizes will be awarded at my discretion (maybe more wp's if enough participate).
In addition, anyone may post a composition of any theme in this thread (or ask me to post it anonymously if you think that helps) and the winner by "up-votes minus down-votes" will get a wishpoint - again, I may award other prizes at my discretion.  Sharpen your pencils!

Somebody dressed up a knator with big ears and a cotton-ball tail, and trained him to take around Easter eggs.  He emerges from his hiding place at the top of the hour and takes a specific route, dropping an egg a minute until restarting the circuit (he zips through the labyrinth in a flash and jumps walls, but avoids indoors and scary places like NC).  Spot the knator’s nests to get eggs.  Spot The Easter Knator himself and get better ones!

Length: April 15 (anniversary festival day 2) for one week
Difficulty: Easy to get a few eggs, harder to track the knator to all sites.
Starting Location: Get daily basket @ 3_1x1_1 (Labyrinth entrance in MDA territory).
Requirements: None, but access to LR and GG needed to get all eggs.
Rewards: Melty chocolate eggs and blue candy peeps left hourly in each nest are sugar bombs, to continue the hunt.  Each site at which you spot the knator wins you a colored Easter egg, which can be traded for more stable cake and candy with -- see the Muffin Man (at the hut north of Wind's Sanctuary).  He’ll keep track and if you have spotted the knator in all 60 sites, he’ll give you a wish point.  If you don’t finish in time, you can continue next year!

To claim an additional prize, you must post here a screen-shot showing possession of at least 60 Easter Eggs, and name which prize you want from the list below.  First come, first served.  This gives a slight advantage to those who have done this before (their eggs were taken for plushies, but they have knowledge), but then they can't get a WP.  Make sure to screenshot before the contest ends - who knows when they will be converted to plushies.

PS. {Clarification} The Muffin Man is still how you get the WP if you are eligible, but he has been sacked in his role as Easter Egg purchaser for goods, that he had last year.

So, some days ago, Ledah has shared a poem about me (in Of Heads and Tales - Two Quests of the Eighteenth Anniversary). I was touched. It felt very nice to be praised for my bravery and my ability to retreat from certain places with great speed.
I decided that I would repay Ledah's kindness.

This is a contest to encourage people to build up their character's depth (to mix my metaphors).
Below are sets of Role Play Items each of which go together in a theme. 
Your job is to write an essay explaining why the items in a particular theme fit your own character.  (Alts okay, but specify which you are writing about).  One point for each valid point in your argument, and one point for each complementary RP Item you already have, and for each corresponding element in your Avy.
The number of prizes awarded for each theme will be square root of the number of serious submissions (FRD).  Top prize is - you get the collection of RP Items.
Contest ends theme by theme when I arbitrarily close down a given theme and award prizes for it.

In this contest, strange and grim,

Contestants roam from land to land,

This is an entirely reasonable proposition.

I note that there is a significant disadvantage for those not of the Fifth Mind-Power as they are also unable to retrieve the heads from myself once they are given owing to the limitations of combat. That is; the mechanics of this quest are entirely different for those who cannot attack those of the Fifth Mind-Power (or, for similar reasons, those who find their alliance to be the Children of the Eclipse).

The contest has not had much time to run, so I think it reasonable to add an additional creature for the highest scoring player for the Fourth Mind-Power, and, if there is sufficient competition (at least three entries, for players which are not known to also possess of characters of higher Mind-Powers), for the Third Mind-Power also.

The duration for such an entry from one of lesser Mind-Power will be the entire duration of the contest; however, the other categories will still remain open for these players as well - that is, it is therefore possible to win all three categories as one of the Fourth Mind-Power.

One might consider the desirability of giving rewards of some sort in each MP category, as is done in traditional heads contests....
