I just skimmed this because I just woke up and I am a hungry, ravenous beast so. There is some background music, like Darigan said. However, it is not in all of the 'scenes' as we like to call them. The main scenes are areas like: Paper Cabin Roof Willows Marble Dale Park Underground. I don't think there are any others,but I may be wrong because I have that setting turned off. Edit: The thing about No NPCs is wrong. We -do- have NPCs. They are part of an integrated game quest which you hopefully will stumble upon. : D

I don't really judge the person for their ideas but more or less the idea itself.' If something was directly correlated to a person via an idea, like say.... "x people should get y bonus for z reason" then that is where I would judge the person, for it more or less benefits them or a small group of people, where as in this situation, it benefits a mass of people for future reference. If, that makes any sense.

I wish there would be more stuff like this. I miss Ailith's events which were very much like this. They were fun.

One thing you must learn is there is a fine line between being insulting, and being blunt. If I was being insulting, there are quite a slew of words I would say. Eon, I know, actually will NOT talk in chat. He does so only on rare occasions. His reason for it is his own reasoning, and I am quite sure that there are a few others whom will not talk in chat. The fact stands, that because you guys are so eager to jump the gun and put a label on somebody, you don't realize the harm you are inflicting on yourselves. That is the exact case that we are seeing now. So perhaps, maybe in the future instead of saying: Omg, he keeps attacking me, what an idiot! Maybe you should bite your tongue for once and PM the person. Is it that hard to use your brains and a small ounce of respect?

Just to point something out that you younger players don't seem to realize. When you become mp5, there is no way for you to stop people from attacking you, unless you do the following: 1. Kill off all your creatures vitality 2. Sacrifice them all. Obviously, the park is a good way for you to learn how to fight and whatever, but as BOTH Shadow and Eon have told you: If you have asked nicely, have RESPECTED THE PLAYERS INSTEAD OF WHINING AND ACTING LIKE INCONSIDERATE PRICKS then maybe, just maybe, you would have a better result. I respect Eon, and therefore, when I do have a creature up, he is kind enough to leave trees for me and let me know so that if I decide I want to fight, I can do so and gain a few wins. The thing you people do not realize is that just because you are acting like goody little two shoes and following the rules, that doesn't make you any less a bad guy than the person attacking you.

You all hoarde secrets because you can't damn do anything to educate the younger people. When I participated in this quest, as little as I did, I never knew about the taint until it was brought up in a discussion with Shara. And you want to know WHY the people are so ignorant? Not only because you hoarde it-- but because no one will bother sharing anything about the past, because of fear for spoilers, bloated egos, and constant complaining, nagging, and jamming EVERYTHING down people's throats. And because the beloved AL is gone,you all think you can't do crap. So sue me if I am being Nasty. But someone needs to say it. I am tired of you all being nothing but a lot of nasty little finger pointers, suck ups, and egoists.

Personally I think people are too afraid to step up and do everything they wish to do. As I see it, people are always wanting to please the 'higher ups' or are too afraid of doing something wrong in their eyes and therefore be considered stupid. Which, in my eyes, is a slight form of sucking up, but that is just me. As I have learned in all my time of preaching... it really does get you no where. And to be blunt, it took me a while to realize that until I took a step back, and I dissociated myself from the game and took a good look. What I see, is not a pretty thing to be honest. For a PAL to work just get a few freaking people in on it and put it up on a RPC item and there you go! If I may also add a bit of something that Firs had said... Nothing will ever be perfect in MD. Nothing will ever have the shining gold and glitter that makes people want to participate in things, or make things 'acceptable' or 'kosher' in the minds of all these veterans who think they know more, who think the things that people come up with are worthless. If you want things to happen, then by damn, shut your traps and let things die on their own for a change instead of jabbing at it, picking at it, and dissecting it before it even had a chance to be started. THIS is what MD is about-- using your creativity to make it a fun game. Not a drama llama farm with a bunch of people spitting at each other because they want to. /end rant.

Luke, perhaps the fourth gate is not necessarily 'good' or 'bad' but neutral. Aside from all that, I am not going to pretend that I know ANYTHING of what you guys are talking about, so. I wing it. When I think of gates, I happen to think of a pentagram. However, a pentagram in this case has FIVE points to it, this relating to some religious aspect, I surmise. I like the announcement, like Chewy Said. In the back of my mind, I was always thinking that perhaps this would be a solution, and voila! It is implemented. As for the mp6 thing and above... MP6 are normally in alliances, anyway, so maxing their creatures would be easy. However, I do not agree with people going all happy dandy and gathering adepts JUST because they want to max their creatures. I stand by those who actually become mp6 to help people, rather than for selfish reasons. Other than that, Mur said RARE creatures. Probably like Darks, Morphs, etc. Which, is probably to also help them from becoming a monopoly?
