1. it's 100% because of your long list of crits... try making an alt and sac 3 crits - look how long that will take. loading so many flash objects takes time...
it would be great if you could mark creatures in your global list with an option "NO! i would not EVER like to sac THESE ones", or something like that :)
that would save you from 2 major disasters: sacing your precious accidentally and trying to sac 40 of something with intervals of 10 secs.
+ prepared list could lead to even more comfortable ways of sacrificing.

2. anyways, i feel the same like xrieg - confused. thought alliances are like ideological societies, communities of people accomplishing similar purpose. like lands just more specific.
now it looks like it's just a colorful badge with some benefits. more like strategical item. belongs to anyone who manages to take it one way or another. the name and purpose is totally unimportant.

how to put this simple... i wouldn't be surprised anymore if i see Eon running with "Guardians of the Root" (read it carefully once more) badge, though i still would be confused. *shrugs*

3. i guess people would start taking the story line depending on the creature they want. new ones would start re-rolling their chars just to get the wannable creature :)
not all of course, but many of them :)

4. this is the answer to FS question, not to Esmaraldas ;)

well, it's obvious! this citizen will be "insert like 20 random words here"...

the situation is more then comical. anyways, what Eon and his gang are trying to prove (or at least what conclusion can be done) - "take it while it is possible or it will be taken by someone else" is the only option for now. in other words - be bad or poor. nothing can be done without the intervention of higher authorities. nothing. there are no land rulers, no authorities with higher powers to expel someone out from the land for a longer period. so everyone is free to go anywhere they want and take whatever they want. he/she/it can be stopped for a pathetic period of time in which no resource will grow, and if it will by some miracle - it will be gathered in the next second when depleter regains his freedom. and he will... and you can't take away all the tools from them. at least not the ones residing in LR/MDA. i can move my char to the place with tools few hours before respawn, log out and then log in just the next second after respawn and take the tool i want in 2-3 secs. who could manage to stop me from doing this in such time period? you can design any scenario with available powers for mortals ATM to protect the tools or resources, and i will tell you how i'll go around it... unless you take them by yourself... or you can try to poke the villain till death, heh...

it's too easy to be a villain in this game. from what i saw till now it's pretty much the same as in RL: the one who has/takes a million - walks free, the one who picks up an apple from the ground - goes to jail. and i'm not talking about sponsorships or RL money! :)

5. sure, here:

SW: ~3gc. the fact that none overbid my 3gc for so long talks for itself + here are few links to SW market (took the first ones i found):

other prices you can search on your own, but i'm pretty sure rusty goes for ~4gc, sharpie is way less then gc.
anyways i don't want to prove that you're right or wrong with those prices, all i want to say - price is a subjective thing, and most of us can't read others mind.
if you had said that in your first post what you've just told in yours last - everything would be clear to everyone :)

6. sorry, but this is a total nonsense to compare the lands on resource depletion matter... everyone and each knows that to reach the first grass in the Tribunal it takes a few days without being a citizen or spending additional resources. for most it takes twice to get out... since the first day the citizenship was introduced as an additional factor to viscosity, only the most naive people could not notice where is this leading to. i've mentioned that for a few times, but i guess it's not important enough to change the status quo.

it's not so hard to compare... it should be pretty fair to split this whole matter into two sides: NML/MB/LR and GG/NV/EL. while the first part is totally abused by anyone who has at least a tiny wish to get some resources, the other one is pretty safe and can take the total control over own resources with almost none effort. till/if any non citizen manages to get to the first resource of the secondly mentioned lands - everything might be already "controlled" by the citizens.

politics? land rules? punishment aimed to the non land citizens? oh well... who would need that from the second group when you can't punish anyone just because none can mean any threat to you? none can simply enter the land in time? :) while you can freely roam the lands of the first group... it reminds me the RL situation of pretty recent events on the resource gathering in some first sort of the lands of the RL world...

i hope i don't need to explain that resources = money, and money = power; so, let me ask where is this leading to in the long run?

7. *shrugs* what could possibly go wrong if you give your exact location? :)
always welcome to come to my place, bring beer! :D

8. i guess it wont happen again unless HC and BHC will be run together once more. those two events mixed up, and GoE was not marked as the safe place for the second HC phase.

9. i'd say... if you have a tool/ability/opportunity - it's a feature you can use on your own for whatever reason you feel it's suitable, unless it's stated otherwise by some higher authorities/rules.

Azull had an idea, will and opportunity - no kings, no government = chaos, anarchy, why not to use that? great idea, btw, nice move.
Kiley had an ability/authority and used that power for whatever means/profit. none should judge that - anarchy, remember? and none from existent higher authorities ever stated it's illegal.
Yrthilian had a tool and he used it for his own reasons. another and way more important question would be - why he still had this tool? unless someone from higher grounds wanted to make Yrth as a tool for his own intrigue...

there's no way Azull and Kiley should be judged for initiative and creativity using the situation. i'd say the same for Yrth, unless it was stated by higher authorities/rules that those tools shouldn't be used... but then again: if you want to prevent some action - take the tools away. the one who should be blamed the most in this situation is/are the higher authorities, unless it was done on purpose... *grins*

i'd just like to point out that for whatever reason this blaming/judging is done - it is destroying the community, free mind, creativity, ideas, initiative... i still have a hope that his game is more then another governmental/social system of nowadays and is ruled by more open minded people. such ideas and actions should be stimulated and motivated instead of being choked. this game would become boring if some higher authorities would start coordinating or judging each social, political in-game action...

try to be more objective and based on rules as much as it is possible. that's a new year wish for the council from me.

10. *shrugs* i'd say he's right... i was pretty sure it will end like this when i saw the council's response. there's always a limit line when you need to choose not do something because of the consequences. it's obvious that consequences where at least ridiculous. scam and thievery with confession for a week of jail... :))
