  1. Something quite extraordinary has happened, and it's connected to this experiment so I'll say it here. I have been drawn back to MD for so long even after some awful things happened to me and I had no idea why. I realised something today and I can't explain too much as it involves personal things, but involves me stopping chasing what I already have. It's time to let go of MD and I am doing so with immediate effect, with nothing but good feelings and intentions. I'm off to start taming my inner magic in the real world Thank you for everything, Mur. All my love to you and goodbye.
  2. I personally prefer the current mode as the attempted shape keeps form better and the faster motion has very interesting side effects (e.g. sudden creation of separate shapes, interesting shapes on outskirts of main shape that fan out or add to existing shape)
  3. For the GOTR badge, I had a few goes: First I concentrated on the roots and slowly guided the heat to the shape in one movement to achieve this: Then a few more attempts saw the root shape good but unable to add the trunk or top of the tree: Then I tried to start at the top left of the trunk, draw down then the roots and then to the top right of the trunk all in one go: This seemed to work better so had quite a few attempts and this part of the badge can be recreated again and again: I wait til the shape solidifies more then patiently try to draw the top part of the tree, which of course is the most difficult as there are leaves etc: This attempt turned into an angry face: The branches appeared on this one but still can't find solution to leaves: This attempt went wrong and the angry face came back: So here I am at the moment: Will try and get the top bit better, if anyone can improve on this please post as tbh it's quite a fun challenge.
  4. I tried to practice symmetry - a simple shape: A bunny and a toad fighting : Mountains by a river:
  5. I found that, as you say, this imitates life in a way. Patience helps, you can actually gently affect lines and flows to create recognisable shapes. For more defined lines, i slowly move the cursor, keeping it pressed down (which i found helps a little for definition), and then leaving the shape a couple of moments to stabilise. then you can carefully affect the lines slightly as if you are drawing gently to create recognisable shapes. This is absolutely fascinating. It's like when you try to help someone, if you blankly tell what you think, it won't work, but if you show by example and encourage slowly, the solution becomes gradually more apparent. LOVE this feature thank you so much Mur
  6. To explain, this is how it starts: You can move your cursor around the heat in any shape or direction and it creates continuos streams of movement:
  7. Imagine the following as continuous moving cycles / swirls, inner and outer swirling simultaneously - quite mesmerising:
  8. Good Afternoon, Player Name: Ailith Player ID: 259857 Browser: Tested on Edge and Chrome (both on PC and phone) Importance: Spell not working as intended I tried to use accoustic remains last night and found something odd, thought it was just me but Sunfire also mentioned something on discord so tested again today. Issue: On casting Accoustic Remains the following occured: No spellwords text in chat at all. No pop up with the chat history. Spell counter counted the spell as having been cast. The spell showed in the triggers box. It seems MD is counting the spell as being cast but the text and pop up are not working at all. To confirm: I have pop ups allowed, this is not an issue with the pop up. I have tested on both Edge and Chrome browsers, same thing occurred on both. Please could this be investigated to see what is preventing both the spell text showing in chat and the pop up of chat history from working? Thank you for reading, Ailith.
  9. I love this idea, it's always good to give people choices based on how they want to play. Single asterisk for more creative / descriptive roleplay, stock emoting for those more on the go or both for the more daring. For practicality, I'm not sure about double asterisk for two reasons: 1) it's too close to single asterisk function so typos may cause unnecessary results. 2) This function, and I say this with the greatest of respect, is really for people who want a quick result for minimal effort. I would suggest a single symbol to cater for that: for example ? (ie ?nod) Please note I am suggesting the single symbol, whatever it may be, just used ? as an example. Thank you for reading, Ailith.
  10. Item 2 – 9th Anni creature - 200 plushies
  11. I imagine the shape of a hooded robed figure but without a fine outline. the 'material' of the robe is a watery surface which is resonating with movement from soundwaves surrounding the figure. At the centre, where your figure is holding a sword pointed downwards, I imagine a long sharp shard of metal which shines like sparkling starlight. Turquoise-green branch-like arms reach down to grasp the shard. Pairs of these branch-like arms repeat one above the other, their hand position moving slightly more upwards until the top two are together like hands placed in the 'namaste' position. Above the hilt of the shard, where you would expect to see a face in the hood, there is a sun - not yellow but a piercing white-silver with strong energy emanating from it. The idea is that nothing in the picture is clean lines or block figures or shapes. Everything is resonating or being moved by some kind of energy. (This is what I have so far, may add more)
  12. For my part, I have a person ethic / rule regarding the use of my item. I could not kill Ledah for this quest any more than I could have killed you if you were in his place. Or anyone else. For this same reason, I am not requesting a creature.

    Ruler of UG

I absolutely agree. Mag's dedication is to the UG and his entire attitude towards MD embodies it. All we need to do now is find a way to plug up the hole while he's down there (XD :P) Long Live the Queen!
  19. Creamy Winderwild, Grasan Bacon and Mushroom pie with oniony mash. Cook Winderwild in a covered dish in oven with equal parts dijon mustard and runny honey and some white pepper. Once cooked, put the meat aside to cool and keep the juices from the dish. Fry small pieces of bacon until nicely cooked (but not crispy) and make a sauce using softened onions, mushrooms, bit of oil & butter, white pepper, juices from the winderwild dish, bit of basil (prefer tarragon but had run out) small amount of chicken stock and low fat creme fraiche. Once all is cooked, mix the winderwild, bacon and sauce together and leave to cool. Grease your pie dish and line with puff pastry, put the filling in and cover with the remaining pastry: Cook until golden brown (browner than the photo, it appears lighter than it was): Make some yummy buttery spring onion mash and serve:
  20. I would visit them every day at the same time. Each visit I will call "Day" and mark it on a rock near Deathmarrow. Every seven visits I would start a new row of marks and call the last row "Week". I would trust them to either follow the markings and understand that way or use my crude method to come to their own understanding better within their own sense of time.
