Marind Bell is sacred to me, along with all the creatures, resources, and people in it. A land is meant to be loved, nurtured, cared for and treated with respect. Resource depletion is the opposite of how it should be treated. And yes. Even if it was gold and silver, I'd still say it's wrong to overharvest. Treat the land well, and it will treat you well in return. Treat the land harshly, and it will one day pay you back equally.

I am absolutely against resource depletion. I feel it hurts the land, and all those who love it.
